I've always thought Jennika was body, Venus was mind, and the albino turtle was soul. The three things ninjas train in their careers.

Eh, I always liked Venus. Of course better writing for her or any character would be great but shelving her for all these years didn't help if there were ways to improve the character instead of thinking she wouldn't work out for whatever reason.
Would be interesting if Venus is supposed to be part of the 4 Doppelgangers team for now.

I remember being a kid and going to see the coming out of the shell tour. I used remember I got it on vhs back in the day lol. That was one of the best moments of my childhood lol.
I always Love Venus de Milo,she's so Underrated and has alot of Potential and Opportunity to Fix Her,even though is going to take Time to Develop and Evolve Her,I'm Glad and Happy that She's Back.
I was sad that her character was erased since a lot of people dislike her series, because she was such a good addition. I liked her character and even though her magic powers didn't fit too well, I liked that they had a support character to back up everyone else's more offensive style.
Im also in the minority as well, I thought she was a cool add on character. By far I would say Venus is my favorite of all the 5th turtles. I liked the Next Mutation as well.

Venus de Milo is an lovable character in TMNT
Venus's was technically named pai Chan this was due her adopted father's Chinese heritage. it's likely just the Venus part will be kept at the same time a nod Venus de milo sculpture by Michael Angelo and Frankenstein's monster. her stitched together concept uses the whole body of perfection by removing and reusing the best parts of something to make it new. Venus ironically is introduced armless in comic referencing her modern sculpture, while referencing the monster was intended to be the best of various human parts.

I miss Venus I remember her in the Teenager Mutant Ninja Turtles show and I think she was in a movie after Teenager Mutant ninja turtles see Venus and Shredder return from the past from April O'Neil from the time clock I believe it
I thought they bring her back the rise of TMNT you know the shows just based on magical things I thought it was perfect being Venus here but I was not expecting to be like a statue

I never knew about her and when I saw fan art I was wondering if she was a oc- I didn’t know she was cannon.
Maybe this would be a stupid idea, but it could still be tried this way. What if they make a new turtles series AND a spin off series with four female turtles, one being Venus with a cyan bandana, a second being Jennika with a yellow bandana and two new turtles with a pink and white bandanas respectively? At the start of the series, a prologue is shown, which tells the viewer how three of them, Venus and the other two, got mutated (Venus in New York near Splinter and the four boys, but without referencing them, and the other two somwhere else) and how they came together. In the pilot episode(s) or maybe a television film that starts the series, the three eventually meet Jennika at the time she wanders the sewers after getting away from her former employer: the Foot clan. By that time Jennika has already been mutated to a turtle, but storywise this is not yet revealed to the viewer or the three other turtles. They turtles behave like you would expect from female characters in a series, so they're not skating or doing all kinds of stunts like their male counterparts do, but they do what young girls and women like to do in their spare time, while having to deal with another cartel from the Foot Clan, led by someone else than Shredder, which is either Karai or a new female leader. However, Jennika is the one among the turtles not getting used to the seemingly peaceful girly style of life and does rougher things her own, like snooping around when the Foot clan is once again up to no good, with much risk taking as a consequence and being the subject for many worries for the other turtles, especially for Venus, who leads the team as wisely and softhearted as she can (but not always as successful with Jennika). Jennika is not exactly a female equivalent of Raphael, though, as Jennika doesn't really think many things through as much as he does, before doing crazy things, and she is not as noble minded as he is. And Venus is not a female Leonardo either, because she doesn't get as furious at Jennika as he could be at Raphael, but rather the calming and negotiating type. Later on in the series, the turtles are hinted that Jennika has a somewhat darker past than they expected. And eventually they discover that she was born human and worked for the Foot clan before she was mutated into a turtle. This discovery is made during a few crossover episodes in which they meet the four boys. Only Jennika really knows the boys and it is revealed that Donatello caused her mutation by using Leonardo's blood after Jennika was severely wounded during a Foot clan attack. The other three female turtles don't know the boys, allthough Venus vaguely remembers the mutagen accident that caused her mutation as well as the name Splinter (told about by her former teacher and caretaker, Chung I, in Chinatown). In this crossover episodes all eight turtles are needed for dealing with a major threat caused by Shredder, the antagonist from the females' series and Karai together. It would also be cool if the crossover happens at the end of both female and male turtles shows as another television film, instead of episodes, to act as the big finale, and that Jennika's loyalty to the others is tested by the confrontation between her and the part of the Foot clan that usually only makes their plans against the boys and Splinter.
Fun fact: The creators for Rise of the TMNT origunally intended for season 3 to reveal the Turtles have two long-lost sisters.
The problem with Venus was being introduced in THAT show… Not got to her in the IDW comic yet but I’m hoping they can do the character some justice.
Also, it’s not that the original 4 aren’t enough. No new character can replace the original 4 and I wouldn’t want that. There’s a lot of story opportunities with have more of them.
I like to do regular original Venus de Milo look far as the original one she was before this one 🤔

I don't really understand the whole hate on Venus.
Like really, why are people so angry on her? The uniqueness of the Turtles? Well there is only One Master Splinter, is he some kind of Super Legendary Unique character?
He act as a mentor, a father, and caretaker of the turtles. Would he be less if there was more rat people? No.
Is all the human characters not individuals, are they not unique in their own rights just because the world has billions of humans?
It is just a dumb argument, no the turtles will still be unique, since they have personality, they have their own opinions, ideals and morals, they are brothers, and they have a father, who they want to honour and make proud.
Like paint all their headbands red, will they be Raphael instantly? No, by knowing how they act, talk and such we can identify them.
Same as take the headbands off, they don't cease to exist. One more, two more, or even 11 more turtle people would not change anything really.
Build a whole society of them, and they have a society of turtles, maybe they even get their own culture built up. But the Ninja Turtles will still be the four. With or without extra turtles.

The amusing bit was the very first female Ninja Turtle was actually April O'Neil in the Winter 1994 Archie Special, April mutated into a turtle herself she had a white bandana and a single sword. Also the sitching you saw Venus have in the show is not canon it's...shoddy costume weakness showing through. Sophie is right though, the fact is Venus originally was a poorly written idea for a poorly made show. I don't blame Peter for being pissed at the idea of his own creations not being good enough as Venus in Next Mutation was clearly a perfect example of it because they had to complete rewrite the lore of tmnt to fit her in and used all kinds of terminology that they didn't fully grasp & insulted kids intellect. IDW & Sophie's ideas are proof that you can do a good female 5th turtle & not make it such an obvious cash grab marketing scam.

I've no problem with Slash, Metalhead, Tokka Jennika or turtle clones like the dark turtles who are all either enemies or freinds of our 4 heroes but adding another turtle to the family pretty much destroys the unique dynamic and relationship between the 4 turtles which is not good at all it's just lame and unnecessary to a degree that is why i hate the next mutation's version of Venus but I appreciate the fact that the idw comics have Venus simply as a freind of the turtles

Why did she get a blue bandanna?
Honestly I would've designed Venus as an Albino Snapping turtle with a pink bandanna, pink Samurai shoulder armor, pink forearm gauntlets and matching knee pads. Also given the fact Females tend to be bigger with a lot of reptilian and amphibious species I would've made her bigger then the Four boys by at least a head or two. As for her shell it wouldn't be different aside from cracks and intrinsic graffiti designs on the back of her shell, her limbs would be toned just smoother than the guys are, as for her Weapon I'd give her Claymore or Tai-chi Greatsword as her Main weapon and Kusarigama as her Secondary ranged weapon on her thigh she'd have a throwing knives and a folded bladed fan with grafftti sprayed on it. She'd also have stitching scars on her arms and legs indicating how she may have gotten her name. That's how I would've designed her. As for personality she'd be Smug a wise ass and a tomboy with a heavy sarcastic twisted sense of humor.She'd also have quite the Ego. I'd have her start out as a tragic villain, that converts to the turtles side, she'd be older so more of a Big sister rather then a little sister like she was in the show, she'd also have some out of the box ways of solving problems Think Maple from Bofuri.Also unlike her "little brothers" she'd have no qualm fighting dirty to win against uneven odds.Such as using a Recking ball to Send Rocksteady flying out of a building for example. Their the enemy why should she fight fair, that's just stupid.She'd teach this basis to her brothers especially when it comes to gambling games.
We already have a female albino turtle that wears pink and she has a time traveling future ninja self.
Your other ideas on the other hand are interesting.
@@GoldPrince2468 Yeah I did see that but this was what I had written down on a sketch pad and a corresponding picture I drew a LONNNNGGG Time ago before that character was introduced in the comics.. Also a Snapping turtle is the same species as Toka so she would look a bit more intimidating kind of an oxymoron to the name "VENUS" the Scars are an omage to the de Milo statue..so it would've made her unique

Do you have any idea how many fan characters are girl turtles named Venus? Well, there's too many to count; and the number is debatable anyhow since half of them are reimaginations of the character... what's the difference between rebooting a character and naming your clone character after them? IDK, it's a lot like the clone/echo debate in Smash, none of the rules are consistent or make any sense. I was honestly waiting for Jennika to pick up the nickname Venus, and then have everyone talk about how stupid it was because self deprecating humor sells well.

Besides the names why were they all changed from Red Bandanas to different colors. Imo an all red team is the way to go they seem more deadly and ninja like. The different colors makes it seem too cartoony to me.
That's why the last ronin finale epilouge is shallow and sacrilegious trash cause Casey Marie and April creates 4 more ninja turtles after mikey dies lmfao
