@@TheTurtleNexus Are you sure you just saw Kraang Prime’s first name: Kraang, and just automatically assumed he was 87 Krang’s cousin? Or just in a rush or something like that?
some old fans complain that tmnt shouldn't have krang yet its been part of tmnt lore since the mirage comics. All they want is the foot and shredder like they forget tmnt is also Sci fi too
@@crushedscouter9522 i have go read some of the gatekeeping fans say about tmnt they only want shredder and the 4 turtles fighting thats all anything else is bad, and they hate the idea of other characters, had one guy blow up at me because i said april was one of the main characters and is needed in any tmnt story and he got very angry, it should only be the 4 turtles and splinter april is for the sjws this is what he said
@@redred222 lol no. i browse many tmnt forums and this is not a common sentiment at all. also, april is not needed in every story. she's a secondary character
So in the 2012 version the kraang were originally the Utrom before an Utrom named kraang discovered the mutagen and used it on him self grew to a massive size and then enslaved most of the Utroms
Utrom surely had a complex history within the tmnt universe especially when it crosses over into different iterations, I bet their family reunion would be more unbearable than it should be.
The 2003 Utroms might be my favorite version, but I started with the 2003 TMNT show, so I admit there's some bias. That said, from what I've reasearched, the IDW Utroms seem like interesting antagonists.
I Love Kraang Prime the reason why I like him because his Psychic Powers such as Mind Control, Telepathy and Telekinesis After Getting Into Mutagen and Grow in Bigger Size Since he was The Original Kraang in 2012 Version, I wish He Survive Longer In Season 3 Until Season 5 with 1987 Krang and 1987 Shredder.
It’s funny to think that the writers of the 80s cartoon were like “Hey, you know how we can adapt this advanced species of living brains that live as a pacifist society? Have only ONE of them and have him be a bigger main villain than The Shredder! Genius!”
It was actually a weird coincidence. David Wise was inspired by some other brain-like creature, and then realized the Utroms were already very similar to that concept. And then he kind of merged them. Also he may not have read the whole original arc by the time he started writing the show (I believe he only had 5 issues, and up to that point, not much was known about the utroms).
David Wise doesn't get enough credit for distilling the comic into something that really appealed to kids--the whole point of the cartoon. It's really easy to look back now and get snobbish about his highly successful and enduring choices.
That why that cartoon tmnt 1987 was disrespectful to the source material of the comics. When the creator of tmnt was heavily involved in making tmnt 2003 which was faithful to the source material of the comics and is exactly how the Ultron should look.

I’m upset that we don’t get utrom for the second movie, they can use it , just get some puppet and make Tgri to tcri and have the turtles fight a evil utrom named Krang who working with the Foot make a pair of evil mutants (so it connect to Fred wolf cartoon) .

Actually, Kraang Subprime is 87 Krang’s cousin. Kraang Prime isn’t related to the latter.
That's true. Not sure how I didn't notice the mistake while I was adding the images 😆

I never read the older comics but I really liked how the 2012 slow handled both plot threads

Shredder from 2003 was basically shredder combined with krang
One of the Shredders in that show was, yes.
