- Mega Moto handlebar riser install and test ride
Installed some 3 1/2 inch handlebar riser mounts on the mega moto minibike. Took the bike out for a quick test ride to finish breaking in the engine.

Been catching up with all your videos, soaking up the many tips and tricks you shared. I was gifted an old Coleman ct100u around christmas time, just a basic frame, wheels and a box of miscellaneous parts. My budget is super tight, so a lot of bits and pieces will have to be made from odd stuff that's laying around, while waiting on a few essential parts that had to be ordered, I used an expired fire extinguisher to make a gas tank, stretched the frame about seven inches and built a new set of forks. Hope to get an old and tired 6hp B&S intek running for it. Thanks for your experience and wisdom.

when i put my dirtbike seat on top of my megamoto seat it fit perfect and it made the posture more on top and it cruises way better ....its faster ....i like those risers cool upgrade

Hey brother, just wanted to say thx for the info on those bars. I order myself a set for my mega moto and love them. Gonna have to order those riser mounts also, should have ordered them at the same time just didn’t think I’d need them but yeah they’re a little to low. Anyways thanks again man!!! Ya, i'm gonna do that upgrade here pretty soon.
I'm going 2 bring my coleman 200 which only does 40 mph and i hope i can keep up with every body.

The micro bike only does around 40.
I think it should be fine . I bet there are quite a few bikes that only do about 40

Ya, I think so. It's really geared kind of tall right now with those tall tires. . I might lower the gear ratio some to get it into the power band a little faster .

Thanks! It really is a comfortable bike to ride. It has a 4.4 to 1 ratio right now. It's has a 15 on the clutch and a 66 out back .Its geared for top end with those tall tires . I'll probably lower the gear ratio some to get it into the power band faster . I think it might be more fun that way .
Good to see this one running, those "street tires" I commented on the day you installed them; got to be better at all speeds particularly 60-70 . . . Out of curiosity, which sprockets are on front and rear AND please get a tach/hour meter for readout of rpm; they help with maintenance (I have 5 to keep up with) and record the highest rpm until surpassed or re-set manually.

I think i'm going to lower it some.It takes a while to get into the power band with those taller tires and that gear.
@@Black66 highest ratio I ever ran was 4.61 to 1 on my 1998 Azusa, 6.5 Tecumseh (has a clone on it now); with 6-inch wheels. Around 5 to 1 with 6-inch wheels and 6 to 1 with 8-inch wheels has always been the general rule. That 6.5 Tecumseh went 38mph at 4,500 with the 13T clutch / 60T sprocket....
@@frederickwoods5943 I hear Ya. I like trying crazy stuff. LOL Not sure if you saw the video but on my Azusa bike, I used a 3.3 ratio with five-inch tires. That bike almost hit 70! 18 on the clutch and a 60 out back .
That little bike was crazy fast for being so small.

I’m currently “widening” and eventually stretching my little 3.5hp mini bike for a 212. I want to get the mega motto wheels and street tires from go power sports & a hydraulic disc brake for it- but I don’t know how wide it’ll be and they’re not in stock anywhere and probably won’t be for awhile but, I want to fab my frame now. How wide is your rear wheel, tire, disc brake and sprocket on the frame? I just need a rough estimate I’ll make it slightly larger and weld on spacers according.
I think there is around 9 inches between the frame rails on that, with the spacers at both ends of the axle.
hey, i recently put a bigger fuel jet in my ct200uex carb and now when i go full throttle it makes a weird noise. anybody know how to fix this?
Hey brother, just picked up one of the new predator 224 and wanted to know what you would do performance wise? You are a mad scientist when it comes to these small engines. What carb, springs rod etc? Thanks man I’m putting it on my mega moto, tryin to make it at least half as awesome as yours
That 224 is sweet. I wanna put one together and use a a NR 280 series cam .Like a 280-0611. I think it would go good with the 58MM stroke of the 224. That thing will make some serious torque with that combo. Billet rod and flywheel and a 24MM Flatslide to go along with it.

What do you keep your intake and exhaust valve lash set to , I set mine to .003 intake and .002 exhaust and it seems way too tight but it said to set it to that in a video
Idk what mine are exactly but I'm pretty sure I have mine around .005 and I have 18lb valve springs ,header, bigger intake and a bigger jet

was stock brake cable long enough the 50 inches or did u have to use ur own brake cable ?

Recommend sprockets for some fast speed??
I have a video coming out on this topic soon with this bike. It has a lot to do with the tire height and the engine mods and how fast or quick you want it to be. If you keep the ratio around 6 to 1 it will be a quick bike. But will be limited on the top a little. If you start getting into the 5 to 1 or 4 to 1 ratios then you are going to get top speed but a less quick bike. Where did you get your blower housing cover
Its a predator cover I had dipped. But I think you can by them already chromed at the parts houses.

No I haven't. I've mainly been riding it around the neighborhood. Ill get some more videos out with it pretty soon.
