I was just thinking I may say that on a video lol. And that it's ok to not be great with a camera. I mean, I'm 7 months in and still can't work the lighting situation 😂.
Awe… thanks for the shout out! Been loving all your book suggestions lately! Here are some that I enjoy…Homeschool Made Simple, The Handmade Homeschooler, Gathered and Grounded, Grace and Grit, Making Everyday Magic, Homegrown Homeschool, Schulte Sweeties, and for high school, My Perfectly Imperfect Life and Homeschooling Through Highschool.
You mentioned some great ones! Here's a few off the top of my head.. Grace and Grit (elem-HS), my practically imperfect life (HS), life of tillmans (prek-midle school girls), the waldcock way (elem-middle school) simple joy filled living (has older videos for high school but they are fantastic and super practical!). I watch a few of the others you listed and have recently found your channel. Enjoying your content as well from the southern Dakota!
Well then I say to you: Get a camera and tripod and discover how easy it is to use iMovie and make some videos!!! There is so much space for it. I realize, though, that while homeschool moms are a minority, a mom who does her own thing all the time is an outlier even to that minority. Still, I bet there are thousands...
I’ve definitely considered it 😂. Your videos are appreciated. And your suggested channels have given me many hours of content. My budget for books isn’t as grateful 🫣🤪 but my happy readers are!
I love all the channels you mentioned. And I really enjoy videos like this because I’m also always on the look out for channels that resonate with my age and stage of homeschooling. Here are a few I can think of, and I’m sure I’m forgetting many great ones: Arlene & Company, The Homeschool Breakroom, The Learning Ladder, Homeschool Knockouts, Chips & Salsa, and Project Happy Home. Happy watching!
Chips and Salsa seemed to have been winding down when I started homeschooling. I really liked them! I will add them on a list I'm keeping because the back videos are still helpful -- like ToriAnn Perkey.
You follow the Robinson curriculum! There isn't much out there on that, I don't think. Really interesting program. I watched one of Robinson's small group discussions in a church I think it was. Telling his story and how he raised his kids after his wife passed. I like your style of going at the kids own speed. Thanks for adding to the list!!!
Blessed Homeschool Mess & Ashlee Renee Gathered and Grounded are my top two favorites. There are a few you mentioned that I've never come across. I will have to check them out!
You named some really good ones!! Several I need to check out. Thank you for sharing! I post homeschool content, as well as family and food content. Head over to check out my homeschool playlist! I have my daughter’s junior ring ceremony as well as her graduation video. I’ll be posting a video soon about curriculum choices for next year. Also, you are delightful! I really enjoyed this video. ❤️
The problem is finding secular people 🫣 Homeschool of Bel Air is a good one. TheMommaLibrarian is another good secular one. Alittleglam alotofmom is not secular but has a mix of ages and I love how she does things. I believe she’s Walforf-ish too TheFallCoFamily also not secular but her videos are beautiful. It’s like watching mini documentaries lol
Thanks for sharing those. I just subscribed to 'Alittleglam'. I agree -TheFallCoFamily is cinematic! Why don't you film??? Do your own and add to the mix of us.
Thanks for mentioning me! I think we need more homeschool moms to start making videos!

Awh thank you so much for the mention! I agree it can be difficult to find those that continue to make videos as our kiddos get older!
I wonder if they stop because they are farther removed from it as the child ventures into online courses, etc.
Thank you for the shout-out! ❤ I am so glad that you like the book recommendations. I have been having fun checking out your videos!
You are so welcome! I think you read as much as me, too!

Thank you for those! I'm going to start a list I think... maybe shout it out once a year around the time everyone is looking for curriculum

Hi fellow Dakotan! Gosh, I do watch Life of Tillmans. I missed that one. Thanks for adding it to the list and sharing those with others.
❤Awesome. I’m a homeschool momma too. I always enjoy finding more of our crew to follow and learn from/share with 🎉
Welcome homeschool mom!
Thanks for the mention ❤
I really enjoy your channel and think your a wonderful addition to the online homeschooling community 😄
Thank you so much! I think you are awesome. You address social issues and coming of age topics others don’t or won’t
I’m also struggling to find TH-cam moms that’s I can relate to. You’re the first that has similar expectations and scholastic styles.

Homeschooling 101 channel! I post flip-throughs, detailed curriculum reviews, and homeschooling how-to videos! Thanks for making this list!

@@ThePattersonHomeschoolAcademy The Robinson curriculum is a really interesting concept, but I actually follow The Well-Trained MInd!
I need to redo the list and then maybe do a second quick video with updates and better descriptions. Perhaps do this yearly.
Blessed Homeschool Mess & Ashlee Renee Gathered and Grounded are my top two favorites.
There are a few you mentioned that I've never come across. I will have to check them out!
Thanks for your additions! I'm glad you now have a few new ones to check out 😊
making everyday magic
Good addition, thank you!

Thank you!!! I'm really glad you listed yourself here. I think a lot of people would love to watch the graduation video and many others you have 😊
You’ll love The Waldock Way. I don’t think you mentioned her?
She homeschools an only child.
I love Grace & Grit and Rooted in Rest.
I haven't watched her. Thanks for adding to the list!
