As much as I like the premium look on nemesis, the soft nylon feel and look on prime is probably my preferred material on something I’m gonna play with often, mainly due to the texture and feel. Despite the plastic, these guys are quite durable when you throw them against the wall (not that I have done it, I don’t have any legends figures)
I absolutely hate the nylon look and feel. The resulting plastic is usually always muted in color and creates issues with pin tolerance and joint tolerance. Usually the painted versions have superior tolerancing mainly due to the paint. . It has so many downsides with very few upsides. NewAge have many intricate and tiny armatures as well and I have yet to have one break.
@@thirty3255 you make a good point about durability and pin/joint tolerances, it’s just that considering these legends figures aim to be cartoon accurate, the nylon matte finish makes it look cartoon accurate, and I think if you’re going for accuracy, you should go all the way. Hands down, Magic Square. The sculpt alone this one wins, not to mention the outstanding articulation. But they are not of the same scale, only if MS Optimus is scaled up.
It takes about 40 years for nylon to decay while floating in the ocean. Magic Square uses a more flexible plastic compared to every other manufacturer. That’s actually the biggest complaint towards their products as mentioned in the video. It’s a tough material but it has a weird texture to some people.
@@rudyvalle9022 I'll be honest, I have Defermation Knock offs and I am pretty sure that in time the color will fade and the plastic is going to crumble or become sticky and bendy.....I was wondering if there was a spray of some sort I could use to preserve the plastic.
Hi Carlos, thank you for the comment. Apologize that I would not be posting links for the toys since I am not a seller or an affiliate, and it should be rather easy to find the figure online using the name in the video title.
Similar quality, but Nemesis looks cooler, and it is also just half of the price for there are no trailers and other accessories. So, character wise, Optimus, coolness, Nemesis.

I guess other reviewers aren't interested in these figures? B46 came out in January, and I waited quite some time for a review, and there was none.
Hey where do you get your decepticon logo from? Looking for cartoon styled stickers for my 3rd party stuff. Any info? Thanks! And great review.
Hi Tron, I got it from Hasbro, they release water decals and sticker every year, and in recent years they start to put out cartoon logos.
Maybe I should do a review on stickers..
@@OptimusLegends you should. I've been looking all over for g1 style logos, always end up with the same old stickers from ebay! Thanks again!
It's not in the plan, but should be an easy one to squeeze in between robot reviews.
So, you have my word, will do a sticker / decal review asap.
@@OptimusLegends excellent. No 😂 pressure though. Only if you're up too it!
Great review👍🏾
Thank you! Cheers!
The optimus version vs the transform element for the "best representation of G1 cartoon Prime" ? Thoughts?
Hands down, Magic Square. The sculpt alone this one wins, not to mention the outstanding articulation.
But they are not of the same scale, only if MS Optimus is scaled up.
Doesn’t have that marshmallow looking plastic. This I like
Indeed, looks concrete, and COOL.
Love your reviews! :)
Thanks so much, Alex!
Random thought. As a dark reflection of Optimus I feel like Nemesis should be left handed.
Yes, for he is the black mirrored Optimus.
how long will the plastic on these things last? is there a way to prevent it from crumbling?
It takes about 40 years for nylon to decay while floating in the ocean. Magic Square uses a more flexible plastic compared to every other manufacturer. That’s actually the biggest complaint towards their products as mentioned in the video. It’s a tough material but it has a weird texture to some people.
@@rudyvalle9022 I'll be honest, I have Defermation Knock offs and I am pretty sure that in time the color will fade and the plastic is going to crumble or become sticky and bendy.....I was wondering if there was a spray of some sort I could use to preserve the plastic.
again, why there ins’t a link for getting the figure? I don’t really care about the stand if I don’t have the figure itself
Hi Carlos, thank you for the comment.
Apologize that I would not be posting links for the toys since I am not a seller or an affiliate, and it should be rather easy to find the figure online using the name in the video title.
Are you going to do a review on Megatank MT01 Monocrat Megatron? Thank you!
Hi Joshua, thank you for the comment. Right now I have a few bots in the plan, will definitely give it a look, see how it fits.
@@OptimusLegends Thank you! Your reviews are really great btw :D
Cool videos 👍
Should I buy Optimus prime or the 2.0 nemesis prime? Which one do you recommend me??
Similar quality, but Nemesis looks cooler, and it is also just half of the price for there are no trailers and other accessories.
So, character wise, Optimus, coolness, Nemesis.
@@OptimusLegends thank you man! I'll buy it as soon as my mom comes home! 😂
I just don't like his rims!!! You gotta admit tho his articulations is what sold me!!! I'm definitely looking into this toy line.. Magic Square especially New Age!!; Thanks for the info!!!!
Where can I buy this cool guy🤩🤩🤩🤩??Really support your video, it’s really great!!!
Thanks, Enoch! Really glad that you liked the video! Will try my best creating more of them!
What show was that at the beginning?
It's the latest Netflix transformer show, War for Cybertron.
Ridiculous amounts of moving part detail need a 12 min video just to transform it 😳😳😳
whered you get it from ???
Got him from a Chinese dealer from 2.taobao.com, a flea market with low charges to the sellers.
You where buy ms-b26
Where did you get him?
Got him from a Chinese dealer from 2.taobao.com, a flea market with low charges to the sellers.
@@OptimusLegends do they sell in the US?
@@Darkmanfl Yes, you should be able to find many online retails carrying them, depending on their sourcing, the price may vary.
I love it!!!!
Hi cloud X, glad you enjoyed it.
