I received this yesterday, and I am most impressed. The amount of engineering in such a small is phenomenal. It truly is a Legendary scale, Masterpiece figure. Just from vehicle mode, transform one of the legs and compare it to the other half, ... night and day. How the near cartoon accurate robot could transform from the near realistic truck mode, I repeat, phenomenal.
The design looks really cool. Stripe on the robot, with none on the cab. Opening doors. It looks like a really nice design. Personally I don't mind no trailer, the cab is really where all of the engineering goes anyway.
The pin is probably really tight but the feet should be the same from the mp to the Legends. I wish MS would do the EX version more consistently. Fully painted they look amazing.
It is imo better looking in both modes than ms-b18, definitively more toon accurate (than chest in the 1.0), missing the EX paint though. The windows are at least consistent in the truck mode (transparent versions used to have different on the side doors) and make more sense in the bot mode, considering no one for the 2 seasons realized there is a matrix inside (even though Prime was dismembered, repaired and what not) so it gaping thru the windows is silly (but has a cool factor to it admittedly). Looking forward to an EX.
It LOOKS okay...but it's a bit of a ripoff compared to the full set (it's why I didn't get the MS-B46E version). And then this one reverts to painted windows like the original MS-B46?? Nope, that's a fail. The MS-B46E version's biggest selling point was the addition of clear blue plastic windows, that carried over to the 2023 reissue of the original MS-B46 set (which I ordered for $80 from ShowZ back in July; I remember that one more because I also ordered the MP56 Trailbreaker KO). And yes, that transformation SUCKS!! Certain aspects are just flat out dumb design decisions. That bit with the roof, windows, and the centerpiece is reminiscent of the Age of Extinction Evasion Mode Optimus Prime, who also had a rather head scratching transformation in some ways. Yeah, the stock smokestacks are indeed fixed position. Funny thing: with the 2.0 Optimus Prime figures, Magic Square did the Legends one (MS-B46 Light of Victory) first, with the Masterpiece one (MS-02 Light of Peace) coming later.

The instructions show the feet orientated how I have them as if there is only one foot part
My only problem is they didn't include extra hands
I agree, for 50$ they've could've thrown some, not all of them but at least fists and opened hands would be enough

Love the design and will get the EX
If only 3rd party have the balls to upscale this to chug scale. But Hasbro is always watching. 😂
You in for the Mattel Creations Prime?
NO WAY! I just covered that in my news
@@tydiriumhanger1320 I saw that today.
2 bad no trailer

Most collectors do not need the trailer so good they gave a half price option for just the bot
Way too tiny of an Optimus Prime Mike.... Probably the size of a GI Joe figure... Looks good but not for my collection.😀✌️☕💡
Legends is not for everyone
Pretty sure you're missing the point
The newer version just looks like cheap plastic compared to the other one
I call this LilBit scale. No thanks. I'm sticking solely with MP, except for citybots.
It sure is and a bit scary transforming such a tiny figure with so many parts
