    The US stock bike was heavily nerfed in power.
    Kawi basically cuts off throttle input at 11,500, so it needs an ecu flash before you can access the 16,000rpm redline… you know, where the bike makes ALL its power.

    The inline twin is carrying more speed through the corners and is comfortable on his bike. The guy on the RR is probably not use to it ( its brand new and limited not just by the ecu but how many are actually out there ) regardless if it's detuned or been flashed, and the power band between the two bikes isn't a 1 for 1 either, one's only just starting where the other is already in it. The RR is already at a disadvantage in just trying to figure it how it behaves the way it is, and the higher redline means he's not shifting as often as the 400 so there is not as much a loss of momentum in taking the time to grab a gear, and their lines differ aswell ( where they take the apex, where and how they brake ). There's alot more then spec sheets to consider here.

      @TheShayman Like you said many times across many comments, power isn't everything, I've seen people at NYST blow the fairings off 600's and liter bikes with ninja 300's. In a straight line, sure the RR shouldn't have an issue zipping past the inline twin * 400, but where's the fun in that 🤔.

    1:14 ... I am no expert but it seems the rr rider is carrying needless lean angle. You can see him almost knee down but his head and neck are crimped away from the apex toward the sky. If he dropped his head lower and bent the inside arm more while straightening the outside arm, the bike would carry less lean angle and less risk. And he could accelerate sooner coming out of the apex. Thx for sharing

    • @mylordass8120
      @mylordass8120 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Yep the stock HP on the ZX4RR in the US and Canada is only 53 HP, Kawasaki had to limit the power to pass noise regulations and emissions in the US/Canada, everywhere else is getting the full 80 HP straight off the showroom floor.
      The ECU is limiting the Ride By Wire control on the throttle body to not open all the way. So the power increase stops at around 11,000 RPM and stays like that all the way to redline 16,000 RPM, making a total of only 53 HP.
      This can be tuned/Flashed out via the ECU to make the full 80 HP.
