    "The sound that this bike makes is so much fun. It makes you feel like you're going way faster than you actually are." THIS is what I feel every time I'm out in twisties on my ZX-25R. Feel like you're slaying everything and you're only going 70 km/h hahaha

    Good video. I have an R6 and RC51 and they are both insanely fun but the whole point of me buying the zx4rr is to get that same feeling but at much safer speeds. If I want to scare myself I'll jump on the RC51.

    I think you should explain that you have to flash the zx4rr ecu and void the warranty to get it to its full potential. Otherwise it’s real similar to the 400.

    • @LogicalQ
      @LogicalQ ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Are you really worried about a warranty on a 10k$ track bike? Even if it was stock, they would likely give you a hard time because of the track use. And a flashed ecu doesn’t necessarily void the warranty on non-drivetrain items.

    • @TysonMoto
      @TysonMoto  ปีที่แล้ว +10

      The Zx4RR is designed to rev to 16k RPM. The USA/Canada version is detuned to 11.5k RPM. Reflashing it to rev to 16k is not bad for the bike, it simply allows it to work as designed.

  • @Xwii610
    @Xwii610 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Id like to see a track time comparison between the zx4rr and a zx6r. With the zx4rr only weighing 15 pounds lighter than the zx6r, I can't imagine it's any quicker in the corners.

    • @sandersho4008
      @sandersho4008 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Also zx4rr isn’t any lighter than a GSXR 600. I get some newer riders don’t want 600cc SS power, but I don’t see any real benefit for an experienced rider to choose the zx4 over a 600.

    • @Xwii610
      @Xwii610 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@sandersho4008 exactly. The only "upsides" is tft dash, quick shifter, and more "usable" power on the street. No real reason to buy this over a 600

    • @Fee.1
      @Fee.1 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@sandersho4008 the zx6 is being re-launched with a bit less power and a bit less revs…it will have the same THREE heavy catalytic converters at a MINIMUM, possibly bigger/heavier ones.
      Expect the new ZX6 to be even heavier now that it will have all the same electronic features AND MORE than the ZX4, plus bigger and heavier wheels and tires and bigger discs etc.
      Just as with the GSXR , it’s not really fair to be comparing a new for 2023 bike with an old design that hasn’t had to update all the tech and emissions crap yet

      @Fee.1 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@sandersho4008 if you don’t get It you’re not paying attention because everyone interested in this bike says the same thing. It’s in this video and in the comments and everywhere. I have both and if I had to do it again I would have started on the 4RR. It's incredibly smooth and refined and handles like a dream. People complain about the increased weight compared to the 400 but the weight is low on the frame and you don't notice it and the bike just falls into the corners with ease compared to the 400. I haven't flashed it yet and it's still awesome out of the box. You can't go wrong with either really but if you have any experience on motorcyclesI believe you will appreciate the ZX-4RR more. My issue with the 4RR, is what people are having to pay for them. Most of them are running 11 to 13k, and that's crazy to pay the price of a ZX6R for the 4RR. Also Kawasaki says that it's 85hp, here in the states they're about 52hp, and the bike is almost as heavy as the ZX6R. The bike is too expensive for what it is. I would much rather have the Ninja 400 over the 4RR. They're like 5300, so you could get one for the street and one for the track for the price of one 4RR.
