The parry ststem feels unfair and almost broken int his game. Timing is all over the place on every enemy

Playing sekiro and the souls games made me realize that the parry and dodge is very balanced in this game. You will need to be well versed with both to be good, but parry will destroy and enemy if you become consistent.

You HAVE to put the game into performance mode on console so you get constant 60fps because of the insanely short parry window. It's a shame and imo they should patch the parry timing to be twice as long as it is, it feels unfair at times.

Yes it's pretty broken, it's not responsive as Sekiro. Its just garbage and they should fix.

@@lucasmonllor433 true. The timing is different for each mob. Sometimes you have to parry just before you get hit and some times you have to parry when he winds up. Pretty random and annoying to deal with.

The perfect parry with the aegis is most likely a bug. Great guide

When you use Aegis, you can hold L2 And still input perfect guard timing by honestly just spamming the L1 button simultaneously. There is a guard parry function which costs Fable as a later update, but you can do this trick immediately.

Probably just a minor exploit. I don't think we should be able to use L1 to guard with a weapon while pressing L2 to block with the Aegis.

do you need to have enrgy on the shield? - i am not at the game stage to have it lvl 2. Without knowing really I guessed the shield parry is imba. So it was 1st choice Legion :)

I'm confused, I have gone through the whole game using tap parry. What do you mean by reduce response time? Like it makes the parry window bigger? And do you mean hold guard up, then let go and tap it again to parry?

Yes to the last question.
You parry when you bring your weapon up, so tapping parry at the last second before getting hit may not be fast enough to parry since your weapon has to travel from neutral position all the way up to a guarding position .
Holding guard prior to letting go and tapping it again to parry is quicker than just tapping parry before getting hit since your weapon is already up in guard position

I have said this a million times, I would love to play these types of games, but my display has way too much input lag to be able to have proper timing for perfect parry. I am not going to spend a ton of money for a different display just to get the timing perfect.

I recommend Doing this things bro:
1- if you have this amulet Triumvirate Amulet: Purchased with the Burnt-White King's Ergo, equipping this Amulet increases all Legion Arms by +1.
2- You may want at least 20 points on your capacity. (Level up your legion Bar).
3- check the P-organ and upgrade the legion arm ones, will help a lot.
4- Just use the parry Wisely only when needed, I mean you must wait until you’re under attack to use it, because every time you use it will depleads it.

I didn't realize this till I got to the puppet king and he did his big spin around and smash the ground attack. That genuinely might be the only easy to read move in the entire game. I parried it with 95% accuracy after seeing it one time. If all enemies animated like this one move it would be a well balanced game.

There’s not a way to set it other than learn how to do the perfect parry, just with that you should be able to defeat any boss in seconds bud

No it's not from defeating her. You buy it really late in the game from the guy that escapes from the island of alchemists. After defeating the final boss you'll go back to where you fought mad clown you'll see the guy there standing on the little bridge.
