- DSP has the stupidest of takes, claiming that people will stop talking about Baldur's Gate 3 when Starfield comes out, that it has no chance at Game of the Year due to it's "PC game" status, and that the console versions will fail because "no one will care about the game anymore" when the console versions release. Because it's totally not already a bestseller on PS5 or anything...nope!

Phil's not playing Baldur's Gate 3 because -he know he'll get low tips playing it- it's a PEECEE SENTRIK game.
Well I'll have to disagree on the tip thing.
DOS2 is still as far as I know the game that brought in the most tips a stream he has ever played, going by the tips tracker he got I think it was $240 on average for every stream and he played it for a while.
But the game made him look like the below 90IQ fuckwit he is.
So he would be making a killing in troll supers and there would be 2-3 superdents piling in with handholding tips.
Well truthfully told I'm happy that DSP keeps his hooves away from the Baldur's Gate series. I love those games.

Baldurs Gate 3 literally redefined what a triple A game is supposed to be. It did that so well, that other Triple A devs are trying to downplay its success. Because they low key hate that BG3 showed people what an actual triple A game should look like. God of all the idiotic takes DSP has ever had, this one must be the worst.
By this logic, games like Dragon Age Origins or KotOR are "pc centric" game series and yet its pretty much universally loved by everyone who's played it, pc or console players.
Baldurs Gate 3 getting a console port is a good thing because more people get to enjoy it on the console they own or are most comfortable with and on top of that it's a great game on its own merits.
The best part about this is games like DA:O, KOTOR, and (more than likely) BG3 will be looked back on as games everyone should play, while DSP is here saying that it will be forgotten about once Mortal Kombat comes out.... like dude is he for real? 😂

Let people have fun and (rightfully) praise games they enjoy. What do games like FFXVI, TOTK and BG3 have in common? Edit: The Witcher 3 sold 20 million copies before the Netflix show came out. And yes, DOS 2 won GOTY in many outlets. As always, zero research on the bullshit he spews daily.

Here's the thing. For me, TOTK is not GOTY. For me, TOTK is game of the decade. And I say this in 2023, confidently.
