That music you hear when smythe intoduces himself i am pretty sure it is from a TV documentary Threads from 1984 set in the UK telling a story about some people living before and after a Nuclear War.
From what I've read, "Protect & Survive" was an actual series of PSAs the British government funded and produced during the late 70's at the height of the Cold War. when the threat of Soviet incursion into Western Europe was at its height. Probably way less over-the-top than Vault-Tec, though :)
That “Protect and Survive” booklet is actually referencing a real booklet that was available in the UK back in the 80’s. There was also a video with a voice over by an actor (Patrick Allen) parts of which was used in the Frankie Goes to Hollywood track “Two Tribes” You kids think you have it tough and stressful today. I remember actually having to stockpile a month’s non perishable food stuff and medicines in a cellar room, “just in case!” and to be prepared to “label my dead family members for identification purposes before placing them outside” !😵💫
Before you get snarky about kids, you should check your memory because the voice actor recorded different lines for Frankie Goes to Hollywood then he did for the films. It's such a well-known fact that it's in the Wikipedia - which has already been updated to include Fallout London!
Bullettooth Anthony? So what should I call you? Bullet? Tooth? Tony? "You can call me Susan if it makes you happy" I love the Snatch reference at 48:30
12:00 I can tell they had some real Britons on the team as Power Armour is spelled properly. 15:30 Wayfarer must be your character's title, like how the FO4 protagonist is known as the Sole Survivor. 19:15 You might want to look at the Protect and Survive series. It's a real-life series that was intended to play on a loop on British TV stations in the event of nuclear war. A lot of the Atta-Boy's OS aesthetics and a few sound effects in FOLon are inspired by it.

Well I wouldn't mind stashing some supplies and being concerned about my future instead of the consumption fueled world we live in today
things are 100% more fvcked today wdym
@@Jay-pg6zgthan when?
Before you get snarky about kids, you should check your memory because the voice actor recorded different lines for Frankie Goes to Hollywood then he did for the films. It's such a well-known fact that it's in the Wikipedia - which has already been updated to include Fallout London!
Great to hear the voices of a couple of the old Dr Who's right at the start of the game.
Bullettooth Anthony? So what should I call you? Bullet? Tooth? Tony? "You can call me Susan if it makes you happy"
I love the Snatch reference at 48:30
The fact that this is free in mind-blowing.
A lot of the Atta-Boy's OS aesthetics and a few sound effects in FOLon are inspired by it.
also lift instead of elevator
21:30 that’s Tower bridge not London bridge. Fun fact about London Bridge. The old one was sold and moved to the U.S. and now is located in Lake Havasu City Arizona.
It’s called both
"his parents died"
*Plays with knife*
Was hoping this would be a play through and subscribed to see the next parts. Not sure if that’s going to happen
Bullettooth Tony, great reference
“oi you got your radiation license?”
Interesting that the Angels are akin to the freemasons in insignia
Jew
So cool seeing a Balisong even the animation on it
Love how the new pip-boy is called atta boy
Nice touch using the 1984 TV show Threads (Protect and Survive jingle.)
If the Doctor does not show up, I'm disowning Dogmeat
@DorisDay-lw4xs Matt Smith did not work on this game lmfao. Why would he of all people work on a random mod. Dudes a terminator and a doctor
Sylvester McCoy and Collin Baker were at the beginning of the game and the Tardis is there
There are 14 hidden blue police boxes to find. Wonder what happens then
So we start the mod off by breaking out of a free mason vault 😂 love how the pip-boy has the logo on it to
I tought the protagonist was in the cellar of The city in london
Well thats one and the same anyway
Can't wait to watch this one! Looking forward to exploring London in the Fallout world with you Danny! ❤
The two scientists were Sylvester McCoy and Colin Baker. They got 2 actual Dr Who actors - talk about quality!
I played this game 30 hours now and i have to say it is great. Only issues are the crashes and bugs.
Fun detail: The brand on the locks, KALE is an actual lock and key brand -one of the most prominent ones- in Turkey. The word KALE means FORTRESS in Tukish :)
we have YALE locks in UK lol
@@Cl0udgard3n yeap I know ;)
The prologue gave me Bioshock vibe
So looking forward to this one! Especially the voice acting :D
hyped for this series 🔥
Hello TH-cam!! Seeing a TH-cam comment with no likes and no replies is odd lol
Lol, the real channel of TH-cam
Leave my boy Henry alone, please (MxR)
Idk why but this kinda reminds me of Redbull yt account. You just see them post a clip about some people doing random crazy stuff or stunts, and then they reply to people like its nothing xd
The Vaulzon box had me giggling at 38:35 😂😂😂
at 28:16 he talks about different gangs and its crazy what he says, Jack tars are seamen of the Merchant Navy or the Royal Navy, Roundels are the red, white and blue targets on spitfire planes, and the mods on vespa's used to put them on there bikes or jackets.
The London Underground sign is known as a Roundel- that's probably the reason that a London gang are named after it.
My granddad was a jack tar out of Aden and Mombasa!
@@jakeebeling9158 the guy mentions something about scooters so it's definitely a mod reference
Wonder if they’ll have recreations of two of Europe’s most prominent computers that defined Euro gaming Commodore’s Amiga line of computers and its bitterest rival the Atari ST.
Unlikely, microelectronics is very rare in the fallout universe. Would be cool though.
In the UK the ZX Spectrum was way more prominent.
@@jakeebeling9158 the Sinclair ZX Spectrum was an 8-bit home computer. The Commodore Amiga and Atari ST were full fledged 16-bit home computers. Way more powerful than anything Sir Clive Sinclair ever cooked up.
@@Swordslinger-hb1nsWhat about the Sinclair QL and the LOKI-Prototypes?
@@Mitch.Buchannon it sounds as if those weren’t commercially released since you said they were prototypes.
Keep pushing these out mate, I've been waiting ages for someone to finally do a playthrough of this. I can't wait any longer 😢
I so can't wait to play this. And actually recognizing the VAs. Sylvester McCoy? Amazes me how they got their help :)
The grunts they make when shot makes so much of a difference. Seems much more real
Tea bag ?? ! Tea pot??! British happiness intensifies 🤣🤣
Damn you are off to a quick start! Well done ...
ESO playing new Fallout! Feels like 2015 2016 again
OH MY GOD. How did I not hear about this until now... I was literally just bored so I figured I'd see what you'd been playing and checked ur channel and found this... I'm so freaking hyped now... I had no idea this existed but I'm now going thru my fallout install and checking out my mods and stuff to play it myself... id been considering starting a new fallout or skyrim playthrough... now I have this!? What...
The protect and survive booklet and the tune played with mr Smythe are real things from british civil defence in the 1980s
The nukes changed the British badger into an American one 😂
American Badgers are not that big
@@EvanPage-x4o oh really? no way! I always thought that american badgers were 12 feet tall. Thanks captain obvious, where's SS No Shit docked?
I was referencing that american badgers look like a british badger which was on day 3 of a meth bender, not that they were that fucking big, you bell end.
I’d make a Jason Statham bro
Get out of my mind XD, my first thought was I would make a character from a Guy Ritchie movie
That’d be cheating, you know his contracts make him invincible in every bit of media he’s in!
How about a mr. Bean
Someone will definitely play as Jeremy Clarkson
I was so excited for the release that I even made (written) a song about Fallout London. I feel the excitement again that I felt when I was a teenager!
Anthony sounds like he's trying to sell the laser rifle to you in one of those morning teleshopping shows. "This brand spanking new laser rifle will vaporise your enemies with ease"
The British version of the pip boy looks very much like the Sinclair ZX system from Britain. Not that I'm old enough to know what the hell that is....Oh man I'm old. Let's not talk about the 80's"BBC" computer, yes it existed. Excellent video sir, take care of yourself. I love your video. There are man eating leeches and Ghouls and you like "Yeah it kind of looks like Greenwich" I was saying to myself..."Oh...Oh dear...I guess not much changed."
12:24 the blowing! xD
If ykyk😂😂😂
"The quality of everything in here is so high, you'd be forgiven for thinking it was a real Bethesda game!"
Maybe not quite as complimentary as it seemed. This looks superb though, that just amused me.
Wait are those scientists Sylvester McCoy and Colin Baker????
35:19 that was a fantastic moment idk if he planned it but damn 👏👏👏
I'm 16 minutes in and I have to say, yep, looks impressive :) as a Slovak who lived in London for some time I have to say, I'm intrigued :)
So you have to have all the DLC, iv only got far harbor, so does that mean i have to get GOTY version?
@@Plz083 Cheers, Iv had fallout since release only bought far harbor DLC.
The masons lol
Got a loicense for that knife mate?
The default outfit being based on the Van Buren design is cute.
Considering Howard has said all Fallout games will be set in the US (as they should, imo) this is a fun side thing.
Never been more proud to call myself a gamer, these dudes made dreams a reality, you just gotta love modders man
“Dude that’s London Bridge”
🤦♂️
Not there yet but I'm assuming it fell down?
It was actually Tower Bridge though! :D
“I live in London”
- Doesn’t know what Tower Bridge is
"It feels like London" they included mosques and Muslims in it too wow😂😂
Cant wait for the community to trash this dlc months later
In a week, all the dredge will rise to the surface
I’ve seen a surprising amount of people whining about the graphics, presumably because they can’t be bothered to do five seconds of googling to realize this is a mod for Fallout 4.
Fallout London Looks Beautiful 😍❤️. Great Video.
Please show all. It is great to see this and have someone living in London making comments about it and shows what it really looks like
