- In this video, I show you how to get the trophy "The Curtain Falls" in Batman Arkham Knight. We get to fight in Monarch Theatre as Batman, Robin, Catwoman, and Nightwing! This trophy is a part of the DLC Community Challenge Pack.

I literally cannot do the shield round with Catwoman, I am certain it cannot be done in a faster way without the game telling me to fuck myself and just having a shield guy bash me AS SOON as I finish off a guy with a takedown, it will immediately have a shield guy just attack me, and it completely overrides my buffered dodge move!!!
And if it isn't that, the game just sort of decides to fuck up my free flow some other way, like deciding it suddenly doesn't want me to counter a guy, or aim towards a look with a shield.
Or have a goon literally pick up a fucking shield just as I was targeting him! I hate how Catwoman doesn't have weapon break it makes it a nightmare.
Or how sometimes you take a fee hit from a guy despite being at a reasonably far away distance for him to whiff it.
Yea I’ve noticed most of my attempts were failed because of the game and it’s really frustrating
The goons that wind up for a punch then fcking turbo slide across the floor and teleport to you are infuriating.

@@christian_zns you know this WHOLE idea that your freeflow combat could be fucked up just because of a thug who only punches you is alone INFURIATING, they have nothing in their combat bag, just a PUNCH.
Thanks. Robin is giving me the most trouble on this thing. It's like his attacks are slower. I made it to the final round more than once, but either I somehow get his, a punch doesn't register, countering an attack doesn't happen, auto aim screws up, and on rare occasions the second brute doesn't attack immediately after the first. Eventually I'll get it.
You will definitely get it eventually. I also noticed Robin plays a bit slower, he takes a bit more attention to succeed with him
@@DillahGaming I finally finished it with Robin, but I still didn't get the trophy. I retried with Catwoman but still didn't get it. So I'm going to try once more with Batman because I know I completed it with Nightwing.

I got platinum for this game about 3 years ago (almost 4 now) and now I've came back to try and get 3 trophies to get 100% but I'm still struggling 😂 I need, Curtain Falls, The Chill in the Air and Requiem for a Killer
Those are the toughest ones! I know you’ll get em though, it takes a lot of work to get the platinum!

Same 3 as me. I’ve done Nightwing and Batman in Crime Alley but Robin, ah Robin always seems to have problems with countering and dodging as he is sluggish af.
I got 900k on Requium achievement but haven’t got anywhere near since. These 3 will remain unachieved because I value my mental health too much to be messing about with these bs achievements which clearly weren’t tested by the devs!
Im gonna tackle this at some point as i started this game a week ago, if i have trouble with this trophy i will definetly come back to this video for your tips. Thank you

Nightwing the hardest? That's good to hear, I made it on basically first try. :D Always played better with Nightwing for some reason, maybe because it is my favorite.

To me the hardest has been catwoman, the game has a bias to attack enemies with weapons and with the amount of enemies with shields, more than once she's broken my combo by that, really annoying considering you have to replay the three previous fights. btw I don't know how people play this with a controller, I've been trying to learn it but it feels really slow when compared to keyboard and mouse.

Yeah but that's risky, especially when playing in a combat challenge where 3 thugs teleport to you in 0.1 seconds for a fckin punch.

@@Draggzilla Pretty sure it does. I've never gotten hit while doing it and I've done it a lot of times. When I do it, enemies always cancel their attacks. If I'm wrong though, it's still safer than not redirecting the attack because doing a jumping attack on an enemy without a shield will get you hit immediately.
Nightwing is driving me insane. Get to the last round so much and fuck it up. I know this video is 4 years old but appreciate it
I feel you man! I already got a perfect freeflow with Robin and Catwoman, but Nightwing is just not cooperating! I tried bat claw slam, and a random guy charges me breaking my concentration. I try punch, back-flip, rinse n repeat, but Nightwing won't backflip over an enemy, or he will attack the air, breaking my combo! WTH?!

Yeah the shields were tough! The key is to keep jumping over them to attack other goons, and then use instant takedown on the shields when you can.

I'm the complete opposite right now. I was able to do it with Robin and Catwoman, but I can't do it with Nightwing(as of this reply)

These challenges are not for the average casual player, you really need to like the game
I did all of the triphies
There seriously needs to be some kind of exploit with these trophies.
Eternal is a perfect example, since I found a glitch where all you have to do is do the Endless Night AR Challenge, KO 2 or more enemies, let yourself get killed,
then go to the main game and beat up random street thugs, and the trophy will eventually pop.
Nothing like that with a Chill in the Air or the Curtain Falls.
Thank you so much for your advice on getting the Killer Croc trophy... I eventually did it this afternoon with only one brute showing up before I got 1050000 points! Now I will move onto this trophy. You don’t have to continuously get perfect free flow with each character and can take your time for this trophy is that right?
You’re very welcome! Glad to help! For this trophy, you do need to get flawless freeflow in every round, as every character. Yes, you can take your time and take breaks between characters. If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to ask! Good luck!

Dillah Dynamics thanks Dillah... the one I somehow struggle with is the three lap DLC bat cave race with the Adam West batmobile! So would be great if there’s a guided tutorial for that (I’ve managed to get three stars on all the 1989 pack and the other 3 races from the Adam West DLC pack).
With regards to the curtain falls trophy. The last round with nightwing is insanely annoying. Somehow even normal enemies are super fast when they attack you and that’s usually where I messed up
Not a problem, I’ll start working on a guide for that! And I know what you mean, the game really forces you to keep moving with Nightwing in the final round. Still, I have no doubt that you’ll get the trophy!
I gave up on this. I managed to do it but I didn't get the trophy so I tried again. I gave up because countering and jumping over enemies won't work half the time and I don't know why

Honestly, Nightwing is giving me the most trouble.
I've tried bat claw slam, punch, back-flip rinse n repeat, and even then, Nightwing's attacks are slow, or he doesn't move in the right direction during freeflow, thus attacking the air.
Ir even if I successfully land all my attacks, sometime the game says I didn't get a perfect freeflow for BS reasons.
This really helped me finish batman after my 4th try after watching. Great content you make it look so easy.
The one l’m struggling with is Catwomen because the shields. I always have at least 4 shield guys left in the 4th round and l always lose my combo when l try to jump over the shield using aerial attack by pressing the circle circle X button.
I’ve finally got it. In order for Catwoman to aerial attack probably you have to use the left analog stick then press circle and X. You can’t use right analog stick or the aerial attack won’t work.
Help, I didnt everything required and didnt get the trophy, it said perfect freeflow after each round. I hate this game sometimes.

A tip that helped me was to increase the brightness of the game to the maximum in the settings, because this scenario is a little dark and after that I could see what was happening better!

Do you have to use all the gadgets? Or are you just doing them for an easier run?
You can always throw a projectile batarang, bolas, shuriken, and wing ding at the stun stick thugs.
3:00 For some BS reason, no matter what I do or how hard I try, I can't get perfect freeflow with Batman or Nightwing on round 3. Even if I don't get hit, AND all my attacks land! WTH?!
A good thing for batman is combo batarang a group then do multi ground takedown

It doesn’t need to be done in one session, as long as you complete the requirements with each character you’ll get the trophy
So 4 characters to do 4 rounds perfectly when 3 of those characters can’t break shields….yeah this is a ridiculous achievement. All the other games achievements are fair with practice, but these are just rage inducing. Just the sheer amount of resets just chips away at your sanity!

It is impossible with Robin for some reason. Batman, easy by spamming batclaw and weapon breakdowns. Nightwing, easy by spamming batclaw. Catwoman, fairly easy until the later rounds. Robin seems to be impossible, for me, without the weapons breakdown combo.
I did it twice but haven’t gotten the achievement. The catch is that you can’t break your combo right ? Because I didn’t break my combo at all

Your guide is very good, but for high scores, using the beat down finisher to take out the 4 brutes is required to build your combo and score.

@@DillahGaming yup, but still, these combat challenges are so infuriating, I don't remember raging like this at games before Arkham Knight, and it's really annoying how fast these thugs and brutes punch in the last round, it's so crazy.
I did it with all 4 characters perfectly but it doesn't give me the trophy
I tried the "no hit" part on Monarch Theatre, only to find out I had to get a flawless freeflow on that mission for the trophy.
And I am not THAT GOOD in this game. I always get hit at least once in every game I play.

Do all their moves have to be performed or is it just any moves, just don't get hit? I'll be doing the punch, evade, X5, special combo/ disarm destroy ,punch evade ,rinse and repeat
It is not necessary to do them all, just avoid getting hit and not lose the combo

In my case I only did punches, jumps and the occasional special attack and it gave me the achievement

Got it perfect knight with everyone except Robin, surprisingly I was the fastest with nightwing, I just can't get the hang of Robin

It means you took no damage and maintained flawless freeflow throughout the entire challenge
Also, how do you do the blade dodge takedown on ps4?
Simple! Whenever an enemy begins to strike with the knife, hold the triangle button and release it after each of the attacker’s swipes. While this is happening, also hold the left joystick away from the attacker. Regular knife goons will only swipe 3 times, while ninjas and blade brutes will swipe 4 times at a faster pace. I hope this helps!

I completed it and never received the achievement. So I did it again. Still didn’t get it??
When I tried this, I was aiming to not get hit, which I pulled off successfully, but still didn't get the trophy.
Only to realize it's because I need a perfect freeflow. Which is next to impossible! Cause I always break my combo or get hit at least once.
Yeah I’ve had enough. The boring constant flipping redirects and just the “perfect” freeflow being overused by Rocksteady. I got 3 stars with every character in the combat and predator challenges, that’s gonna have to be enough for me.
For this achievement, I must reach 15 combos before the round ends? or I must not get hit at all?
You just have to avoid being hit and not lose the combo

@@DillahGaming im super confused i went through and did it im 90% sure i didnt break the combo or get hit do u have to do it in 1 go without messing up once also everytime i got hit or lose the combo i would hit retry so could that be the problem?

Thanks for the support bro! As for the issue you’re experiencing, selecting retry isn’t the problem. Every time I unlocked the trophy I messed up at least a few times and had to retry. Also, you don’t have to do it all in one go, you just have to meet the requirements with each character at least once, with the time in between not being a factor. You can make sure you’re doing it correctly by doing this; after each round, always read if it says flawless freeflow. If it doesn’t say that, you have to retry

Great videos, always helpful however I need help with this trophy and don’t know what I’m doing wrong. Did this 3 times with all 4 characters in Monarch. I made sure to check every round has perfect freeflow. Can you confirm whether these 3 possibilities is why the trophy won’t pop up? 1 - Gotta do all 4 in one sitting. 2 - whiffed first punch before starting the combo meter. 3 - when a thug grabs you from behind and you counter beat his bear hug, however this doesn’t break a perfect freeflow but just like whiff punch it could be the most likely reason. Any advice would be appreciated. Really crappy feeling to do this 3 times and still no trophy with no explanation as to why. 😭
Sighhhhhh just tried again for the 4th time in one sitting. No whiff, no thug spooning, perfect freeflow every round with perfect knight at the end yet still no trophy. Yes I’m on Monarch Theatre. Dunno what to say. No clue. Anyone got any suggestions? I’m about to call this a glitch trophy. Thank you Rocksteady, I’ll be permanently cross-eyed from this game.

This is garbage I made a list and checked off each character when I verified I got perfect knight on each and it’s not unlocking.
