My favourite movie for Johnny Depp. So good. That movie got many awards it's no joke! Nobody
I love this film. Jim Jarmusch made a masterpiece...thank you Jim. Johnny Depp was good in this film and I became a fan here, (only to give up on him later). He was cast perfectly for this role. He is also quite a good guitar player. Which leads me to the soundtrack. Some of the most intense and emotional guitar playing ever. Tender acoustic coupled with the ferocity of Neil's Tweed Deluxe melting from his playing. Gary Farmer is the movie....He is wonderful, (Iggy Pop and Billy Bob T are really good additions, too). Robert Mitchum is perfect. I love the Soundtrack so much. Just a great example of story, cinematography, soundtrack. One of my favorites of all time.

Lance Hendrickson is a standout. John Hurt, Crispin Glover, Robert Mitchum, Gabriel Byrne, Alfred Molina, Billy Bob, Iggy Pop, Gary Farmer...so many support actors.

This movie is truly a treat. It's poorly made and produced in some ways and incredibly brilliant! I don't mind that the soundtrack is the same Neil Young Riffs of two bars of music throughout! I toatally I dentify with the chaos Depp's charachter struggles through..from nerdy, naive accountant to feared gunfighter with Nobody's help!!

John martyn wrote the song solid air about his best friend, Nick Drake, John Martyn actually @ a gig, choked back the tear's, singing solid air, he was prescribed Amytriptene for his depression then @ the time called a nervous breakdown, in the here & now they call it Amatratrapitilene, no way did he commit suicide, I was prescribed them & told the Dr, I don't like them they are making me drowsy & they up teed the dose from 10 mg, to 75 mg, I knew from the Nick Drake story, that's death by the Dr, I'm truly in belief he wasn't warned of the danger of how dangerous Amytryptline actually is, I was prescribed them for nerve damage in my back, his death was accidental, not by his fault but advise from Doctor's, placebo affect all the way, all the medicine you ever need is in your own body, the most humble unsung hero who is getting recognition to a point, but still millions have heard never heard of him, true genius that knew what the music industry were doing to him 🙏
His sister is still alive, I think. She spoke of her brother’s death. He took an overdose, whether intentionally or not.at the time, his parents said there had been improvement in his health. We will never know.
