My mirrors broke due to the improper instruction given in this video. It should also be clearly stated that you need the rear side smoked for this to work.
My passenger side mirror motor broke when trying pulling glass out. I used a screwdriver to help release the clips on drivers side after learning hard way to not just pull like the video said. Now I need to find a new motor for the mirror.
Yeah man I saw a TH-cam guy get the side mirrors (same brand as in this video) and he took the side mirror glass out but he broke the side mirror plastic piece itself. I personally think i’m just going to take it to someone professional to do my morimoto side mirrors, but I will do my headlights myself because it is way easier and pretty straight forward
On the sequential turn signal on the glass side which is positive metal bracket is positive and which metal bracket is negative. Trying to solder the wires together but unsure which metal bracket is positive versus negative.

@@donald96792 yeah i figured out on the drivers side to stick my hand way in the mirror to release clips, instead of yanking on it like this. Sucks to have broken a heated, autodimming mirror on a platinum. Couldn't get an exact replacement so I lost my dimming and probably heating features.
they don't pop out the same way....I would push up on the mirror, then using a flat head screw driver, go behind the mirror and pry(twist) at 2 points (bottom left, and bottom right) to remove the mirror from the holder/motor. I had to learn the hard way, and broke both mirrors following these instructions.

Where can I find these mirror housings with the front LED yellow light and puddle light that supply power, dimming, and heated mirrors?
Does this cause hyperflashing afterwards?

Installing these on my raptor! Does the glass pop out the same way or is it different because of the power mirrors?
