I switched locticians in month two because she 1) she didn’t believe in washing starter locs (she didn’t tell me that in the beginning) and 2) I overheard her talking about me when she thought I was under the dryer. lol.
Are you serious!? Now that's crazy. NOT WASHING STARTER LOCS!!! This goes to show that all Locticians are not created equal. smh I hope the one you have now is WAY BETTER!
@@CharlotteReneeLocs my new loctician is so much better. I have to travel a little further to see her but when I leave there I am calm and I have clean hair and scalp. 😂
i also switched locticians for my first retwist on my starter locs. The lady saw my hair and immediately wanted to give me bigger locs based on how much hair i have, which i didn't mind since i wanted more of medium-sized, but then she charged me extra for two strand twist even though she didnt have anything listed for additional cost for them. Once she was done, there was another guy that came in and he had thick hair too and he wanted what I had and she was like no sir, we can do medium or large braids only. She was super unprofessional like constantly talking about "nigga this and nigga that, I can take her man" the ghetto....😑 and used Lets jam on my starter locs and told me not to wet my hair and use oil every 3-4 days a week. She also does not have locs so i made sure to find a loctician that has locs to truely believe what they say to do
I personally didnt want to have to wear a wig over my locs because I really like the way my locs look all the time with the exception of times I miss an appointment. My locs havent "dropped" meaning they arent heavy enough to look good when I miss appointments. They end up just sticking up all over my head. I think you should do whatever you want to do though. Also, my wig is starting not to fit now so I like wearing it when I can. I have never used a wig with glue.

do you think itd be best to wait until the hair actually locs up before wearing wigs? also do you think a glueless wig would look fine over locs?
