installation of 6112 front strut and 5160 rear shock , along with trail review @bilsteinUS @BILSTEINde #tacomalifestyle #offroading #offroad #automobile #overlanding
Contemplating doing the same set up. Not really looking to lift my truck. Just want to replace my tired shocks on my Tacoma. Mostly loading and trailering dirtbikes/dual sports and camping. And all I’ll see is forest and logging trails to get to our camp spot. How do the 6112 ride on the road compared to the stock shocks. Don’t mind if there a little firmer.
Spacers put extra stress on the shock , the max height from the spring would still be 2 inches. I run larger tires with the 2 inch setting giving me about 3 inch of total lift
the stock a-arms are great, I bought aftermarket SPC's and the ball joints went out after 2 years, I greased them religiously too. Just don't lift it over 2"
i used clips 10 and 8 and WAY too stiff. gave my truck like 3" of lift too, wtf. double checked the spring model number and it's the stock weighted one. son of a bitch!

You can set the ride height to keep it factory , you don't have to lift it .
Thabks for the video man!
Nice Video, Brother! Ty

I use same coilovers nice! What wheeels tires do you run?
Vintage wheels from 4wp, Patagonia mto2s, 295 70 17
Did you use a lean correction spacer on the driver side
@D.rexofficial they are side specific, when they set the spring the use a different clip setting
I want to go 2 1/2 inches should i go with 650lbs coil spring or half in spacer in the front?

Do you have it on max hight
@lukerutherford3293 yes adds 2inchs on 3rd gen
do you recommend a diff drop?
@_313BADR not necessary for a two inch lift which is the max you can achieve with this set up with out additional spacers
do i need to upgrade the UCA with the 6112s?
No I kept the stock ones
