I have 2019 tacoma TRD sport with 6112 - 3” lifts on 33” tires so disappointed of the ride quality I feel every hump in the street and now I HAVE BACK PROBLEMS Went to 4 different off road shops spend almost $5000 adding more parts trying to get good ride quality and still same no change.
Did you go with the 11/9 setting?
@@lukemeetze yes the top setting for this set
How much stiffer was it compared to the stock?
@lukemeetze it was diffently stiffer than the 5100s , better offroad for sure
Just about like this, but with a 4wheeler, pulling a jetski trailer up a deer trail up the side of what they call here a mountain (more of a crazy over grown hill)
Shoulda told him before he bottomed out
Should’ve aborted when you scraped on the approach, a Tacoma is too long to make that on stock/stockish suspension, also as a spotter it’s your job to provide steering direction
Do you have it on max hight
@lukerutherford3293 yes adds 2inchs on 3rd gen
Did you use a lean correction spacer on the driver side
@D.rexofficial they are side specific, when they set the spring the use a different clip setting
That thing got a gas oedal or is he peddling with his barefeet
I wish I took the middle line like everyone else!

@@Mallrunner it was a near miss for sure
Why? The oil pan?
@@1malditoPerro the door panel gets damaged
Not done but it’ll hurt
Struck a cord, huh? Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment.
Soft roading? C’mon, ya noobs, you don’t need special lingo for everyday things. You’re driving dirt roads in what you believe passes for a truck. You’re not “overlanding” and calling the over-accessorized tiny truck a “rig” is just silly.
do you recommend a diff drop?
@_313BADR not necessary for a two inch lift which is the max you can achieve with this set up with out additional spacers
Good stuff buddy!
@coloradomallcrawlers thinks your video of this trail was crazy !! Non of us got to wild
Just floor it
God I love the videos I ost of the limits of these suspension kits... Keep up the great work
Glad you like them!
Where are you wheeling at in CO
Wheeler lake
one more trash vid
“Overlanding” 😂
Seem no one mentions how MTS and Crawl helps to prevent breaking CVs in the rocks. Being from NoCo with a silver off road, of course I enjoy your videos.
Hey, I hope all is well. Let's get together one of these days and show me some of your favorite trials.
Thabks for the video man!
i used clips 10 and 8 and WAY too stiff. gave my truck like 3" of lift too, wtf. double checked the spring model number and it's the stock weighted one. son of a bitch!
Mine settled after a couple weeks , still about 2 and a half after settled
I use same coilovers nice! What wheeels tires do you run?
Vintage wheels from 4wp, Patagonia mto2s, 295 70 17
I want to go 2 1/2 inches should i go with 650lbs coil spring or half in spacer in the front?
Spacers put extra stress on the shock , the max height from the spring would still be 2 inches. I run larger tires with the 2 inch setting giving me about 3 inch of total lift
do i need to upgrade the UCA with the 6112s?
No I kept the stock ones
the stock a-arms are great, I bought aftermarket SPC's and the ball joints went out after 2 years, I greased them religiously too. Just don't lift it over 2"
Nice Video, Brother! Ty
Thanks for watching!
Contemplating doing the same set up. Not really looking to lift my truck. Just want to replace my tired shocks on my Tacoma. Mostly loading and trailering dirtbikes/dual sports and camping. And all I’ll see is forest and logging trails to get to our camp spot. How do the 6112 ride on the road compared to the stock shocks. Don’t mind if there a little firmer.
exact same here, lookin for an answer
You can set the ride height to keep it factory , you don't have to lift it .
I think people overestimate and over-complicate offroading, they think you need a super modified jeep to do these things, but a lot of 4wd trucks and SUVs can do a lot more than you think
You could've drove over... ain't that far away 😂
You made the right choice, drone shots were great. Keep up the good work with these videos
What terrible tires and rims combo
Trails Offroad had this listed as a trail for offroaders with a little bit of experience, if I'm not mistaken. A trail is whatever it is. Information is valuable.
Am I missing the sacasm in your title? Sounds like TOR did a fine job as usual. The trails is described as an overland route of over 35 miles.
It is just my opinion, that the wash part of this trail could of been a optional rather than the trail it's self . It did not add to the experience for us . It took away from a othwise awesome trail .
Love Kelly's scream in the beginning haha We had so much fun on this trip! :)
Yeah she said a few things I would of had to beep if you could hear it better
Oh, well I disagree in that I enjoy the wash part, but that’s usually when I’m high speeding it a bit. Still, I see where you’re coming from. The thing is, the TrailsOffroad route is designed to let you see bits and pieces of Dome Plateau. The problem is there is so much there! After the arch, you got caves, a different landscape, some more moab like features, etc. Also, the domes are rarely seen but I think they’re pretty cool. Honestly, I may film it again in 2024, but I’m going spend three days in there if I do. I’ll have a rough route planned, but I want to do some exploration in there. Apparently, you can get viewpoints of Arch’s national park if you drive far enough. I think I’ll need to bring an extra 10 gallons and that may be pushing it still. However awesome vid! But come back with me so I can show why it’s awesome!
I guess it would be more accurate to say "in my opinion "
Man, I love this trail! I’m curious how TrailsOffroad missed the mark… we’ll see. I do think you can skip that first minor overlook they describe, but their route seemed pretty good. Haven’t had time to run their new route tho. But I’ve spent a lot time on dome plateau… it’s definitely one of my favorites!
They added a loop that takes you threw a wash that was just horrible. There was a turn out that would of skipped it , but they explained that there was scenery u would miss . There was not you could of gotten to the over look with out doing the wash faster and more fun. I should of stuck to your trail guide lol
@@lowe-landeroutdoors0407you definitely have a valid point. I gotta see exactly how TrailsOffroad went. I’d probably say, after the hill descent (yellow jacket ledges/canyon), go see LaBoca Arch, then go to the awesome overlook. The Domes of Dome plateau are north of the overlook, most guides skip them, but I think they’re kinda neat. I only found them because I got lost tho. Still, I think I’d go see them after the overlook. That’s a lot of exploring tho so I’d camp. Then the next day, I’d go to cave springs and so on. Apparently there’s more surprises deeper back there too. I think my first trail filming of 2024 will Dome Plateau and I’ll be figuring out how to shoot our overland guides on it. Probably late March or early April, let me know if you want to join me.
@coloradomallcrawlers I would be down to do it again just not with the wash lol
@@lowe-landeroutdoors0407you’re gonna have to show me the wash. The route I’m use to is just sandy after the hill descent. It’s ok, but the views are in the distance. I usually just run faster on it. You then come to a 4 way. Going left takes you to the overlook, but I think you should go hit laboca Arch (straight) first, then go to the overlook. Gotta figure out the rest, might be revisiting laboca but I think there is a route that gives you good views of Arches. It’s a fuel heavy trip tho. I’ll probably bring an extra 10 gallons.
You could have just let them pass you.
Lol it was my wife driving
@@lowe-landeroutdoors0407 I took this way to seriously. The youtube algorithm sent me here after a car crash compilation. My bad :P

Awesome footage of a great day on the trail!
I love the drone shots, looked like a fun trail

Na I don't drive like that , I was wiped out by time I did this trail . It was awesome
The video was well done. I'm glad all 3 of you had fun.
It’s an easy/moderate trail thing about the hand signals. We are better at doing it in Colorado because of the dangerous passing situations, but it is supposed to be nationwide.
Good stuff! This was where I was heading till I decided to stay in the swell for two weeks. Edit: I really like the two perspectives!
