Your an excellent narrator, such clarity! I have the OME Nitrocharger suspension withe the heavy leaf. It’s la little stiff Evan withe a static load. Driving down a washboard roads is jarring. I’m already thinking about up grading my suspension, thanks for your review. 😃
Lol, I built a 4x4 econoline van 10 or so years ago so that I could bring my tools on a muddy job site. Decided I liked the van and used it for camping. Now everyone thinks it’s cool to 4x4 Van camp and vans are ridiculous in price now 😏
I have 2022 Taco Off-Road and looking into lifting it with Bilstein 6112s front/5160s rear, Bilstein UCA and Deaver Stage 1 leaf springs to fit 285's on it. But been reading that there is hard rubbing on the UCAs when off roading. So this is how I found your channel and I really like the pizza cutter tire/wheel setup you have. But I have three questions before I pull the trigger on buying your tire/wheel combo: (1) Do you have any rubbing (UCA, cab mount, wheel well, etc...) when off roading? (2) What are you running as you spare tire setup (same Method/Nitto or OEM steelie)? (3) If your running the same Method/Nitto as the spare, does it fit up in the stock location under the bed?
I rubbing on the UCA or cab mount. Some rubbing on plastic that i had to cut. The spare is the same and it fits just barely. I had to bang out the locator tabs. But it does fit. You need a 0 offset wheel.
@@AllTerrainFamily I think I'm going with the same Nitto Ridge Grappler/Method setup and OME instead of Bilstein. OME is in stock compared to the nation wide back order of Bilstein. Thanks again for the inspiration.
@@ryanalvarado3986 Cool. Have your mechanic check if the OME leaf Springs interfere with the shackles in compression and grind them back if necessary. It's a problem on some.
@@AllTerrainFamily is that the cause of the notorious noise the OME leaf springs are known for? I'm debating if I should just get to shocks and UCA from OME and leaf springs from Deaver.
Probably the best 5100 review I've watched with a comparison! Real world real talk beats all. Great vid.
RAM 1500 Bilstein/Eibach.

I really enjoyed your snarky commentary on this one. Keep them coming
Sure thing bro!

great production
Nice enjoyed👍
Way to keep it real and not take Campi- I mean overlanding too seriously.
When you are referring to "stock" suspension does that include the stock TRD Off Road Bilsteins?
Yes. Those shocks aren’t really much of an upgrade. They’re not terrible. But the 5100s are much better.
i need some broverland in my life
Do you think nates precision could do a cab mount relocation/ clearance for 35s? Eventually a re gear to 5.29s also. Thanks
Absolutely. Silver State Off Road is another good option.
What are your compression/rebound settings on the BP-51s?
I have them both about in the middle for normal driving.

No. They rub the shackles.
What did you break @8:45?
Upper control arm bushings and ball joint.
Lower control arm linked?
Huh?
