This is the best full coverage racing channel out there. Any gearhead would do well to subscribe immediately. Everything from engine builds, to chassis fabrication, to actually racing what you build, it's the greatest. Thank you for all the fantastic coverage, Kevin. Keep it coming, especially the Cutlass build!
Lol....Kev for second there when you were trying out the race seat, I thought you were going you nod off.😅 FYI, really enjoying the Cutlass build series 👌
Small suggestion from one who have damaged seats quite a lot when cramming them into tight locations: 1/4"-1/2" hard plastic spacers on the side mounts (2"+ di) makes mounting a lot easier, since these can be pushed in after the seat have been located into the side brackets. Even if the seat is always handled with the side mounts on (in/out by the "floor bolts") the side spaces makes it a lot easier to make adjustments. And the side mounts will not scratch the seat as they always do if you bolt them directly to the side.
So I got to see you for a brief second in Gainsville. You were walking up the staging lanes with Clay Sunday for round 1 eliminations. That was my first ever Top Fuel race. Anyway, I shouted out to you and you turned and waived. Love you channel man !
Proudly wore my orange KSR long-sleeved teeshirt today during the final round of the California Amateur State Disc Golf Championships. It seems that the men's over-60 champ is a big fan. (I won by 4 strokes)
Keep on keeping on. Can't wait to see you run it out the back half at the Local track. Please give us a little bit of a heads up. Watching and waiting patiently. Thanks for letting us in your house
A dedicated chassis jig would be a great option, but with so many variables that might change and your experience, you're probably better off the way you're doing it now. Either way it's amazing to see this car come together!
Racetech NZ represent❤ A couple of years ago I used to live around the corner from them in Petone, they had a fire and their raw solvents caught, sadly they were forced to move, they lost everything, behind them at the time was an engraver, who was worried about his solvents too... Covered the area in a thick black smoke(shows their products don't want to catch fire or it wouldn't have been black smoke, it snowed chared polystyrene for a good couple of hours probably about 6 hours total, untill HAZMAT got the fire put out) Was a dark day for the racing community as a whole, I'm stoaked to see they're still making proper top of the line products like they were
Thanks Kevin it’s great to be able to follow along on this build and watching you open the seats it was like watching a kid at Christmas 😂😂 can’t wait to see the next instalment in this build series. 🙋🏻♂️👍
wish I had had a race seat with head support in my rally car when I none to gently rolled it. Even though I had FIA spec padding on the cage I still cracked the helmet and had a concussion for 6 months. wont be rallying again till I get me one of those style seats even though they can be hard to fit into something a bit smaller than say a fox body mustang (I dont live in the US) with the required roll cage and bracing and being just over 6 foot tall
We've got a Racetech in our endurance race car. Was the only seat I could find that was tall enough to be able to run a harness properly. Still comfortable after a 30 min stint.
Really cool to see how this all goes together and what it takes to do that. Amazing actually. Lol! Happy to see you excited about your seats, they are very nice!
Hey Kevin! Love the content! Possible tip on the cooling port for your new seats: cooled seats in today's cars have fans that pull air away from your back.... or at least that's how the Japanese car I have has them set up. And mine work great, speaking as a neighbor near Jacksonville. Yours might be intended to blow air onto your back, but maybe try both orientations and see which works better.
Kevin, been watching you for a long time on my personal channel. Didn’t realize I wasn’t sub’d on my actual channel here. I build dirt cars up here in North Alabama. I can appreciate the time and thought that goes into these builds. I used to street/drag race years ago but grew up in the dirt world. I have that soft spot for a clean G body. We also build off of the g body frames, of course in a different tubing manner and we don’t have the SFI committee to please. Keep digging man, I’m enjoying these Cutlass videos!!
I'm super excited for your build I like stuff I don't see everyday.. I just sold my TT 482ci Pontiac for something with a little more readily available parts because I'm building a drag n drive car now
Let’s go that frames. Coming out beautiful I can’t wait to see the finish product let’s go keep up the good work stay motivated and always hit that loud pedal❤
One would imagine it resembling a Cutlass when finished. More than likely it will feature 2 Racetec seats inside aswell 🙊 Kev looked a little ambitious with that seat placement Going to be a Backseat driver 😂
Kevin, Seats are like helmets for your body, how much is your head/body worth? Racetech makes some nice seats! Have fun at the gators! My friend qualified 23rd in Top Sportsman, now if it will only stop raining EVERY 4 hrs LOL.
I don’t think in having a chassis table would be a waste for even if you don’t do much full chassis work. It would probably help a ton being able to jig up parts for when they need to be welded in vehicle.
Swear man I’ll ship my Monte Carlo SS frame down and the chromoly tubing I have, back half and k member and I’ll just have you do mine at the same time lol
If you want to make the front ride height adjustable for changing between street and the drag strip, have a look at how Dennis Taylor did the front end of their 55. Keep up the awesome work! Cheers from Western Australia.
Great video and update Kevin Seats look awesome 😊 Hopefully you're having a great time at the gator nationals I've been watching the livestream that Leigh Has been doing looks like a lot of fun Stomp on that loud pedal 😊
Keep up the good work. Great to see the process of the Cutlass build.
KSR and Steve Morris engines are my favorite channels. Keep up the great work Kevin.
I love channels like this where you actually build stuff to see it work and not just make "projects" that break for content.
Awesome 👌
I'm so looking forward to the day we see the car hit the track in anger Kevin. Keep up the great work..✌️👍🇬🇧
Racetech, developed and made in my home town, Wellington New Zealand

Keep the great ride going! Love the thought process you use...awesome!!
Cool shirt's And they are fun to ride🎉🎉🎉❤❤
Gorgeous looking office chair you have.
Amazing build series. There's a lot more to building a KSR race car than just welding tube steel together. Kevin, your thought process is Incredible.
Thank you for the video. Progress
Nice to see seats from little old new Zealand making it into the build
Wow dude I always wanted to see the trike race :) I been bugging for that for months
Hi Kevin.Enjoying the cutlass build. Please keep it coming.
Lol....Kev for second there when you were trying out the race seat, I thought you were going you nod off.😅 FYI, really enjoying the Cutlass build series 👌
You, Steveo and Jeffro have a Kick-ass time @ Gainesville today! STOMP ON THAT LOUD PEDAL!😁
Kevin, GREAT choice for the SEAT!!!!
That seat is really nice.
Small suggestion from one who have damaged seats quite a lot when cramming them into tight locations:

Nice! How did you like Top Fuel??
Please do something with that 300zx that was up stairs so I can live my dreams vicariously through your channel lol.
Proudly wore my orange KSR long-sleeved teeshirt today during the final round of the California Amateur State Disc Golf Championships. It seems that the men's over-60 champ is a big fan. (I won by 4 strokes)
Congrats!! And THANKS for representing!!!
Every race car should have a good seat! Those look really nice.
Yep. That Nivlac guy whose dad crashed in the Studebaker would have had much less injuries, or even no injuries with a good seat in the car.
You’ve made some pretty good progress on the Cutty can’t wait to see her done Kev
Here for the cutlass content
Keep on keeping on. Can't wait to see you run it out the back half at the Local track. Please give us a little bit of a heads up. Watching and waiting patiently. Thanks for letting us in your house
Tricycle races during halftime at the Freedom Factory would be fun 😉😉
Hi KEVIN!!! The Cutlass has been driven! seat and steering wheel were installed for a moment!!! Powered by imagination and already going 6's.
Kevin, I am thoroughly enjoying this piece by piece build!! Cant wait till next update video!
Racetechs are amazing seats! I would love for them to make a seat one inch wider as I don’t fit with a 20a suit now lol
A dedicated chassis jig would be a great option, but with so many variables that might change and your experience, you're probably better off the way you're doing it now. Either way it's amazing to see this car come together!
Very exciting...Great progress...You have a happy face!
Dude I so love the cutlass and have been waiting patiently to see you start to build it!
Really enjoying the build videos, they make my day.
So cool to think my tshirt is in that pile of shirts. Currently hanging up with all my other KSR merch 👍🏴

We have seen our race seats fit into Mazda MX5s.
Very nice seats, and good safety information

Thanks for the feedback.
Thanks.
Can’t wait to see the Cutlass back on track
Thanks for posting this video. I am enjoying watching YOUR car get built. 'Bout dang time, huh? :)
Really cool to see how this all goes together and what it takes to do that. Amazing actually. Lol! Happy to see you excited about your seats, they are very nice!
New Zealand made seat, would love to have one in my mini
Some progress is better than no progress....good content and can't wait to see more ...thanks.
Hey Kevin, you might want to cover up those tires stacked near the window. UV rays will destroy them prematurely.
It is good to see those shirts I as well have been waiting for some time now can't wait to see it here at home!!
Thanks Kevin for making this video series. I find it quite interesting.
Dang-it Kevin! Now I want some seats with fans in them.
My wife and I agree. We would love to see a tricycle race. Just good fun video.

“Looks better in person than on internet”… that’s a first😂 great update can’t wait to see a trike race
It's coming along well.
Great 👍
Got mine in the mail yesterday!!
It should be MANDATORY that the kind of seat you're using is best for all kinds of street cars and race cars for the safety they give you.....
We think so too.
Love the new seat. Gotta protect the ol' brain bucket.
can not wait to see this gbody make some hits
Oh boy, parts for the rocket and gators for Kevin, what a weekend,, carry on ,, the crazy canuk,,😅
Busy busy working on what you love working on and watching races and flying around FF and across the country. Thanks for sharing.
I love that Nissan you have up in the rafters , 300z
Nice Seat.
KSR FTW
I'm super excited for your build I like stuff I don't see everyday.. I just sold my TT 482ci Pontiac for something with a little more readily available parts because I'm building a drag n drive car now

Awesome seats good to see Kevin.
Appreciate you sharing this build.
I can only imagine people screaming what’s in the bbboooxxx!! After the tease of the little box 😂😂
Very interesting and informative as usual Kevin…….simply tubular……..😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Hey Kev, Thank you bro!!!
Kevin and crew, y'all rock! Those seats are awesome. You're not so bad at welding, too. Peace 😂
Swamp-ass proof seat?! I want one now!
I can’t wait to see what it looks like when it is finished.
One would imagine it resembling a Cutlass when finished.
More than likely it will feature 2 Racetec seats inside aswell 🙊
Kev looked a little ambitious with that seat placement
Going to be a Backseat driver 😂

My friend qualified 23rd in Top Sportsman, now if it will only stop raining EVERY 4 hrs LOL.
Saturday was brutal, the weather was pretty killer today though!!
With that seat how are you going to see your blind spots when street driving?
I see your videos pop up and I can't wait to see what's happening. Keep up the content sir.
Thanks, will do!
I don’t think in having a chassis table would be a waste for even if you don’t do much full chassis work. It would probably help a ton being able to jig up parts for when they need to be welded in vehicle.
I see it in the back of all these videos but have never asked. What’s the story with the ZX upstairs?
Loving this content Kevin. Keep it up!
Hell yeah another awesome Sunday in my home garage working on my project Chrysler with another KSR video playing in the background 👍
congratulations on 300 subs. l love the KSR channel.
I love this bulid as i say over and over. Man I love how you explain everything ypu do!!
Keep up the good work. Like the addition of the Racetech seat. Smart choice!
Top notch work!
Swear man I’ll ship my Monte Carlo SS frame down and the chromoly tubing I have, back half and k member and I’ll just have you do mine at the same time lol
This car is gonna be nasty as hell.. cant wait to see it screeming down the track.. thanks for the video Kevin..
If you want to make the front ride height adjustable for changing between street and the drag strip, have a look at how Dennis Taylor did the front end of their 55.
Keep up the awesome work!
Cheers from Western Australia.
Nice to see regular videos on your car!
It’s really coming together Kevin! Love seeing you work and seeing your process! Great work💥💯
Big Kev on a hungover Sunday morning, I think so🫡

you might even be able to do a trike give away
Great video and update Kevin Seats look awesome 😊 Hopefully you're having a great time at the gator nationals I've been watching the livestream that Leigh Has been doing looks like a lot of fun Stomp on that loud pedal 😊
I made a couple of appearances on that ;)
That cutlass is going to be ROWDY!
We just got our shirts and they look great thank you so much From San Diego
Glad you like them!
You could route the lower back air pipe through an ice box for center core cooling on hot drives.
Kevin good morning, missed your build videos since mullet. Such an impressive guy. Very talented
