Honestly, I think this is a good example of sometimes the lvls, k/d don't tell the whole story. You might look at the levels or K/D and think Mars was the one playing poorly, when in fact Mars is simply being screwed over by Undying.

That really is the case in dota below 5k mmr in 90% of games.. The only difference here is that bsj is actually analyzing it while in a game where nobody understands that no matter how good u are, if there's two equal or close equal to you and your support is dog shit, u lost the lane and potentially the game and plus you get flamed cuz u're being an useless offlane....

Lanes don't break in low MMR until like 10-15 minutes. So this concept of going to another lane would be 'griefing' in low MMR.

Every hero have their timings during laning phase depending on some items like boots or mostly levels...So power shifts from one person to another so that's time you rotate to help or play aggresive and take advantage.
It's rare to see perfect equilibrum but if that happens someone have to interrupt it depending on who have the better late game timings.
Its called reverse smurfing. So when he go back and play his rank, he is a better player. 😆

Since overwatch has been added, report system wont work the same way u think it does. After u report in-game for griefing or whatever reason, it goes to overwatch system (so other people has to decide, is he a griefer or not)
wrong question. Make sure he is not getting in your team by avoiding and send him some money to keep playing that account. Free mmr when he is in opposite team.
@ Overwatch is for griefing, for acc buy you got separate option after the match ends so its still strange and maybe its indication that this reports means nothing
@@incoma6628 Yes but even tho, lets say that you are playing with him in a game (teammate) and he does the same thing he did to mars, and mars (you) blame him for being bad, acc buyer, noob, low mmr etc... and you tell your teammates to report him, what do u think after game ends happens ? Does your whole 4 teammates report him for acc buying ? I think maybe 1-2 will report him and other 2 will ignore. And next game it goes the same and so on... Enemy teammates cannot report for acc buying, he will not get to low prio if he has more than 9.5k behavior (-50 behavior per report (but its in-game report))
1. The acc was rather shared with him rather than bought, according to his stream and what he was saying there. His own MMR is ~700. He has also other Legend acc, other ~top1000 acc - also just shared.
2. He has actually said multiple time as absolute truth for him: "Why should I buy regen? I can just regen at fountain for free!"
3. He is a consistent leaver - all of his accounts are in Low Priority at the end of a day. His Behaviour Score is around 0-1000 pts across all of his accounts.
4. He hates low MMR teammates for "lack of skill" and he arrogantly hates all of his top-50 games because "all those tops with unwarranted self-importance can't play with me properly"

If you watch pro streams with an acc buyer usually they just say "this dude bought this account" and then ignore him trying to g next not much spicy flame

Well it got banned because he abandoned 2 games. If he picks it up later, it'll end up in low priority soon enough (if it doesn't get permanently banned for matchmaking abuse), and there's no booster he could hire to lift a top 100 EU account out of LP.

1k5 mmr player here, very instructive content honestly as you point exactly what players of my caliber should absolutely NOT do. Learnt a lot from it, do other ones please.
Fun thing in my low mmr games is that the enemys usually go on lane with 3 tangos and will never buy more regen. So the outplay is to go on lane with 6 tangos and dominate it especially if you pick a lane dominating support yourself.
There is one to learn about this game that high medals dont know, never follow a noob to a bad fight, undy made mars loook bad because he was helping undy so he lost his lane worse than he would alone

the biggest issue i see among him is that he does the same thing every game, he does not adjust accordingly so if the game goes well with his decision then he wins. its basically luck
@@user-licahare I gotta say, though, as a mainly hard support player in archon/legend, that if you hit the fifth game in a row where guys will start feeding intentionally just because you made stacks for them, flame each other to death before the game even started, because "oracle is a shitty support" in their opinion, or just pick a hero that may be meta but they can't play properly, i am pretty much fucked. No matter how often i see my hero standing there next to the MVP after the game, if your carry fucks you over, you're done for.
I don't wanna make an excuse for shitty support players here, quite the contrary. Enabling is what a support does, but if your carry just does not want, for whtever reason, to partake in the game properly, you have a problem.

Love this kind of content - this is the kind of thing you can usually only ask hypotheticals about - what happens when a 1k gets the opportunity to queue in 9k mmr average games?
Especially as a support, theres a lot of conceptual ideas that can be easy to miss at (my) lower mmr and its interesting how it plays out in how the game ends up looking.
Definitely more content like this please! It'll be interesting to see if there are other account buyers that play other roles as well.

additionally mmr doesn't reflect skill on a scale very well. ancients would easily win a 2v5 against heralds. immortal 1 would not win a 2 v 5 against immortal 1000. the average mmr is archon 2 with 2250 mmr

For anyone wondering I checked his last stream. This account got into low priority, not cause valve banned him but him abandoning 2 games. From his match history he lost all his low prior games and he qued for 90 min couldn't find a game and stopped the stream. So this idiot can prob resell the account later when he gave up without the buyer or seller getting any punishment from valve.

I think there was actually some amount of thinking behind that decision.
He probably knew tomb would destroy the trees and immediately give the enemy vision on his laner, so he waited till that guy died, thinking he might still be able to tp out or something.

undying pos4 is quite awkward, if u playing as 5 ,u can just walk up to the first creep wave ( since the first wave is not going to go on you) and get a few decays zoning the offlaner out, and the carry can fully deny the whole first creepwave.

Hes so unpredictable that the enemy doesn't actually know what's happening at the beginning. He got some tower dmg on a catapult wave, he got a kill, he traded decently. Mars is looking honestly terrible with how he is doing.
To be honest, it looks like his team lost all lanes.
I'd like to watch a game where his team won the other lanes but he still lost because he doesn't understand what to do mid/late game.
Im not seeing that. the kills would be even if he wasn't chain feeding the offlane and the gold difference at 10 minutes was 4k, most of which is from the offlane deficit.

I feel so bad for the offlaner. Reminds me of the time I used to play offlane and my Pos4 is invisible in the lane. Just soaks XP and does jack shit, plays ultra aggressive when I literally have no more regen, then leaves the lane because "lane is dead". I get so mad just remembering about it.

When you take "MMR is just a number" too seriously
My favorite games are when I play Nyx Offlane/pos 3 with my tanky Nyx build, I'm killing it, literally, crushing all the enemies, cannot get killed by a single one of them, confirming solo gank after solo gank, in teamfights I'm a mountain and they cannot even touch me. Then our Ursa, who is super farmed just starts feeding. We really far ahead, they don't even have a tier 2 yet meanwhile we've got barracks and are locking down every Roshan kill/aegis. And this absolute cocky dunce just starts feeding, going in solo as Ursa and dying. He ended up with 16 kill and 13 deaths. All of our supports even had positive kill/death ratios and were doing really well. I had over 14 kills as Nyx and only 7 deaths at the end of it but would have had FAR FEWER deaths if Ursa didn't feed and far MORE kills as I picked the enemy team off one by one setting us up for good pushes/teamfights. This is why I can't go up in MMR, because no matter how good I am, the hard carry finds a way to fuck it up. Basically, if your pos 1 sucks, throws, or whatever, then you can kiss your MMR goodbye, period. It doesn't matter how well you play, at all. I have begun taking screenshots when I do really well in a Nyx game (which is very often because I know how to pick good games for him now) and you can look through my stats and win rate. When you mouse over almost all the losses with Nyx, it's not because I'm feeding or dying or anything bad, I literally often have the highest kills, fewest deaths, making HUGE space, pushing lanes, etc. Even the games I'm losing I'm still like 14 kills 2 deaths, 10 kills 2 deaths, 7 kills 3 deaths 20 kills 10 deaths. Often times I'm doing the most dmg output to enemy heroes in the game and tanking the most too (once you factor in the dmg mitigation it shows). There is simply no way that someone like me can move up ranks unless I get lucky. There is no pattern to it. And again, I'm not losing because I'm playing Nyx, because I can quote you all the stats for days on end about how I'm destroying the game, how none of the enemies can kill me, and how I escape all their ganks, how I am even solo ganking their pos 1's and confirming the kill. But to no avail, if your team sucks, you will not win, period. Sure, you could say, "yeah but just play hard carry then". Well for one thing, I'm not that great at most typical heroes that are hard carries, I'm ok at them, but it's not even what I really enjoy. I like the pace and role of pos3/Offlane. It feels like the skirmisher, in your face, make things happen kind of role and it's super fun. But essentially, Valve's absolutely STUPID ranking system means that unless you dedicate yourself to playing Safelane only and being REALLY REALLY good at your safelane pick, then you have ZERO reliable way to move up ranks. I'm getting better and better at the game, I know it to be true because I can track my stats, better at farming, better at ganking, better at supporting in teamfights, better at all of this. Knowing little tricks here and there to outsmart opponents. You name it. It has almost zero relationship to how many games I win in ranked. The ONLY time my skills come into good use and have the chance to thrive is when I end up with the two other Cores so Pos 1 and Pos 2 who also REALLY know what they are doing and we are able to actually make use of our skills. Most other games? I have to teach people what to do and what not to do, I have to go save idiots who are getting ganked because they're super far out of position, I have to carry FOR the hard carry because they don't know what they're doing, I have to LITERALLY explain how some enemy spells work because friendlies IN RANKED don't know (a sand king didn't know that Zeus's bolts reveal invis targets....). It's like trying to herd cattle rather than a competitive sport. I'm sick of being a shepherd in a community that, frankly we all know it, in game is probably one of the most toxic sludge environments I have ever been in. If you try to explain something: instant flamed. If you play something that someone else has never seen or is not considered "META" to them: instant flamed, hey maybe they'll even grief your lane as a support because they don't like your pick or your build. I've said this before but, the reality is DOTA 2 is a really, really shit team sport. It's miserable for most people in pubs. DOTA 2 only really shines for pro players or in some tournament setting where people communicate and know their stuff. Otherwise, you get some dumbass who just got off work and wants to drink some beer and yell into their mic and try to be HILARIOUS in a ranked DOTA match. It's a total cluster fuck which is why honestly, Valve needs a total re-work of MMR because as it stands right now, it's useless. Yeah that's great for those who are in higher MMR ranks, but for those of us who are actually VERY, VERY good at what we do and love playing specific roles INCREDIBLY well, there is zero route out of hell. I'm not learning how to be the best Ursa player to move up my MMR.

Some people win games to calibrate their MMR as they climb up to their true MMR. Some people buy accounts and lose games to calibrate their MMR down to their true MMR.
Can somebody please explain to me why anyone would buy accounts for MMR? I assume all of the progress will be gone by next season and if you recalibrate, you will be back to your original MMR....
You're totally correct. It's just people naturally want to blame their MMR on things other than their own performance or skill level. They blame their team mates, and so they give birth to the idea that if they bought an account they would blend in on the higher MMR games. A short-lived belief I'd expect for almost all of them.

Imagine the mental state of that mars. Mentally going into a game thinking you are gonna queue with similar mmr only to queue with this undying is so tilting. I play core mostly and when my supp refuses to harass or take hits for me is annoying.
I know that I'm nowhere near immortal but I know I'm at least crusader, but unfortunately there is an element (or 2) that I'm missing, I win my lanes 7 out of 10 times, I have over 6k game, 3k wins, what the correct thing to do after laning phase is a mystery, most times I crush my lanes so badly the the team bunch up, work together and eventually deathball themselves into a win, I'm herald so I usually have to beg a drow to get her shard 40 mins in a game against a tank enemy lineup or something
