I played with some heralds some time ago and they looked insane to me, ended up with some PA + JUGG offlane and a Terrorblade + Slark safelane, none of them were griefing neither supporting nor playing core and all of them stopped farming and started fighting at the 8 min mark, it was so confusing.

But I also have other basic things I need to improve like remembering to use actives on neutral items. Basically once I think I'm playing perfectly maybe I'll buy an account to try and find out what else I need to do to get better. But until then I don't need to ruin the game for 9 other people while I'm still seeing things I need to fix while I'm in 3k.

But somehow the more I played I more drained I’d get and then suddenly I became dog shit . I found out one issue for myself . I may be legend but my farming skills is very bad at most archon standard . I used to have this “ I will just ignore my team and farm my items mentality “ even as an offlaner . I had the pos 1 legend mentality . Now I join my team more even as a pos 1 and my win rate is improving. Most of the games I play none of the divines even know I am an account buyer .

But like you I'm probably closer to a 2k core The more 5v5 fight oriented play though of high MMR games does sound like a lot of fun. It's why I enjoy watching Gorp's and pro Dota games. Also the burnout you mentioned is probably my biggest fear of higher ranked games, especially if I jumped in by buying an account. Sometimes I have a lot of fun stomping or being stomped just making jokes in/with the pubs. I'm worried though at higher ranks people would take things too seriously and the game might lose a lot of fun factor. I am after all just playing for fun after work and not someone with aspirations of going pro myself so buying an account could be counter productive to that

That's a good alternative
