My old bandmate Chris played in Megadeth at this time and I got to hang out with him at the Big 4 show in California. I stayed out of the way but every single guy I met from every one of these bands was incredibly cool and kind. I'm a huge Anthrax fan and Charlie Benante talked with me for about 20 minutes. He was playing guitar backstage and I was shocked at how good he is. Just the coolest dude ever. I still can't believe I got to experience that.

I think it's cool that Suicidal's old bass player is with Metallica now. I loved Suicidal when I was younger. I got to see them a few years ago with Megadeth and Metal Church. 3 to-do's finally got scratched off my list all in one evening. Only took 30 years to do them. Great fucking night though.
