YOOOOO! Congrats on the purchase and thanks again for having me man! Also, funny enough, I was in bowling as a kid and therefore my parents bought me a brand new Super Bowling 64 for my birthday one year, and I played it a tooon haha.
I remember a friend of mine who collected N64 games for years handed me there collection to sell on eBay for them since I already had a good standing store. It was probably the most fun I've ever had on eBay, every sale made was a nostalgic filled rush of awesome
God I remember discovering a tub of n64 games once all for $5 (this was years ago before video game hunting really took off) and it was the highlight of my whole week
I miss when games were cheap, now they're just blowing up and everything's doubled or tripled in price. I used to be able to go to yard sales and find colored N64s for 20 dollars. Now you're lucky to just get a console for under 100.
Stunt Racer 64 was a blockbuster exclusive as well. On a side note I got a copy of Conkers thrown in an already super cheap deal for free. One of the best finds I've had as far as price vs value.
Nice collection there! I used to collect N64, Atari 5200/7800, and other systems in the early 2000's. I would buy a lot of deals at Blockbuster when they would dump their games, ebay auctions, etc. Don't believe I ever saw a Clayfighters, but who knows. On eBay I would find box lots of empty N64 boxes. I probably had 300 boxes, many dupes but still a LOT of boxes and many of them came with manuals too. I got divorced in 2008 and left everything behind taking only what I could fit in my car and got tf out of California! I think back to what I had and what it would be worth now just to sell the boxes and manuals. So crazy!
I lucked into the Zelda Majora's Mask Gray Cart Not For Resale at a yardsale a few years ago. I asked the lady if she had any video games and she was holding a box with an N64 and 20 games. Without looking at any of the games, I asked what she wanted. She told me to offer a price so I said 50 and she took it. I took the box with me and went through it in the car and screamed so loud when I saw that game that they must have heard me a town over. It's crazy how expensive that game has gotten.
Congrats Chase you’ve worked so hard you deserve to treat yo self! I’m surprised the barn buyout didn’t have all these tbh, but it’s nice to get it all in one shot!
I had an N64 as a little kid in the mid 2000s, i dont remember a lot of the games we had for it, but my favorite was Glover. If you still have it in that collection, i highly recommend giving it a try.
I found a copy of Beast Wars years ago at a yard sale and bought it. I recently was looking through some of the prices of games in my collection and saw how much that one sells for. I couldn't believe it. I looked around and found a few more surprise "heavy hitters". Ended up selling Beast Wars, StarCraft 64, Silent Hill 2, Some Mario Parties, Super Metroid. All games that I hadn't played in so long. I'd rather have the money....but I do have to say, I sort of wish I'd hung onto the N64 games. Oh well...I get to find them again, I guess!
Amazing buy, guys! That whatnot auction will be amazing. N64 was the generation that I skipped as a kid, having the SNES and Gamecube, both of which I still have my original systems. I would get an N64, though, for the Zelda games, because it's my favorite franchise. Also, I love the fact that you had so many manuals and even a few boxes to upgrade the carts. And finally, the fact that you're looking our for your fellow collectors and resellers by putting these on whatnot is just another testament to how awesome you and the rest of the CATRP crew are.
Nice score! I still remember getting the N64 system and Yoshi's Story for my oldest son. It was his favorite game back then at 6 years old. And the song!
Chase - how about a barn progress video? Also, what do plan to do with all the room it will free up in your basement? Incredible journey, it’s been fun to follow.
SM64 truly is the rocker of every gamers world♡ one day I hope to obtain a minty CIB copy just like urs^^ this is an an amazing video chase ♡ happy to hear you talk about the Nintendo 64 and why you love it so much:) The Gold Controller in the Blister Pack is probably my favorite item you have in the collection
Great video! Really surprised you didn’t get the boxes that were available. Seems sacrilegious to separate things like that lol just me though. Keep doing your thing bub
Dude has LOOSE CARTS complete collection for 40k on ebay right now. I'm thinking around 5-8k TOPS. I have 200 and some change of the collection I started during quarantine, but the last 90 or so are SO HARD TO FIND at local shops or garage sales, and WAY TOO EXPENSIVE online I don't think I'll ever complete it :( It's literally why I started this channel and is my profile icon, but then I pivoted to Pokemon, haha
Clay Fighter Sculptor's Cut. I never knew it was rare until about a year ago. I've had it since I was a kid and it is from Blockbuster. I remember my mom renting it for me. And it thankfully never got returned by accident. 🤣🤣
@@qwertz721 Sure thing huh? A year later? Seriously? What made you mad? 🤣 I literally sold it about a week later too. It was just the cartridge.. I'm sure I'm not the only one either.. Blockbuster was everywhere in my area in my day too..
@@qwertz721 Matter of fact the person that bought it from me is located in Louisville, KY. I drove from Indiana to sell it. Again these were very Blockbuster heavy areas in my day.
I've seen Sculptor's Cut one time at a random game store in Cincinnati. They wanted $1,700 for it (cart only). I actually found a CIB Bomberman 64 The Second Attack in near mint shape besides a tear on the bottom of the box for $500 at a local game store. I kept it for about a year, but recently sold it for $850 to fund other purchases!
Dang, it’s always amazing to see how generous you guys are. Glad to see Goemon went up 😸 I bought a N64 lot preCovid for $50 just because I saw Goemon in there. Everything was a bit smoky, but it was worth it. That actually reminds me. How do you guys get the smoky smell out of games and consoles? Games are easier for me, but consoles take way longer (in my experience). Also that free Purple 64 👀 I’m coming for it. Mine stopped working, so an upgrade would be nice 😹
Like books and other things I'd imagine you can put it into a box sealed with a cup or bowl of coffee grounds in it..and leave it in for a week ..maybe less and it usually sucks the odor away from it..will smell like coffee for a bit but that is better than smoke.
Awesome deal and collection only game i see missing in the 100 plus dollar category is Conkers Bad fur Day last time i checked online it was sold for 120.00 loose only game i didnt see in collection but im sure it is there somewhere! My favorite nintendo 64 game(s) has to be that , conkers BFD , tony hawks pro skater 2 and 3 , perfect dark , Goldeneye 007 , army men sarges heroes 2 and army men 3d , battletanx global assualt (defintely couch buddy coop worthy) , and my most played game and most memorable hours spent as a kid game was bomberman hero (soundtrack was 🔥 😙👌🙌 just saying facts ) and Turok Dinosaur Hunter , but seriously if i had 10 games too choose from to play until my im 6 feet under which at legit 3 weeks away from 30 years old (I hope I make it too see atleast 60-65 lol ) id choose all what i listed above conkers then all other 10
We had about 5 or 6 Family Videos here in the Capital city of IL. I tried to get a job there years ago and I'm glad they didn't call me back lolol. They are all closed now.
For some reason anyone who's into reselling and collecting knows that sculpture's cut is the rarest N64 game, but no one knows what is the rarest SNES game
Yo, guys! Anyone! Is there a recommended list that you use to get all of the N64 games? I have a quarter of the collection but it’s so hard to keep up with what I have while I’m out looking for cartridges in the wild. I appreciate it thanks! What a wild purchase! Congrats, though !
N64 is easily my favorite and the system I have the most nostalgia for. My top grail piece in my collection would have to be the Japanese exclusive giveaway, the ANA Nintendo 64 console (cib)I found in Tokyo game hunting at a thrift store...cost me quite a bit, but I've never seen one since. Estimates are that only 1000-2000 exist. Definitely something I'm proud to own.
The crazy thing about collecting is the youtubers I watch and what they resell or look for are some of the last things I would ever care about. Like the high sellers, I have zero interest in. Crazy world. I'd love to see a slow flip through of each pile of the games to see what's where I had a couple games never returned to me from a buddy and his dad that wore dirt bikes, one of which was Supercross 2000
It would truly be something if not64 on the wii could emulate these games 100% or close to that accuracy. Then no one would need the original hardware anymore and would still be able to play on a crt tv.
Congrats on the purchase - and thanks for having me on, Chase!
Dude it was an honor to have you on
What a crossover
Mort is the man!
I thought Mort sold his collection when I first saw this comment!
No, haven’t sold it :)
YOOOOO! Congrats on the purchase and thanks again for having me man!
Also, funny enough, I was in bowling as a kid and therefore my parents bought me a brand new Super Bowling 64 for my birthday one year, and I played it a tooon haha.
That’s crazy! Looking back is the gameplay as bad as people say?

Makes me to happy to see those carts reunited with their boxes and manuals

COOL. I never knew the nintedo 64 had that many games. I only have 15 games. And one of them is donkey kong 64.
32:28 that sound threw me off a little bit lol
Holy moly how crazy to own every N64 game, thanks for the great content Chase and Skylar!! God bless the gentleman who sold it!!!
My brother died in August 2018 and was a big video game collector so this keeps me close to him.

A lot of the sealed games market was being manipulated by WATA. $13000 is too high
I agree.
Blowing in the cartridge!? Come on Chase, you know better man…
Also, Mort is the best
Bro, ngl I immediately was like did that man just blow on the cartridge?
Love the editing on this one. Really well done!

Blowing in the cartridge 😩
18:10 oh man DO NOT BLOW INTO CARTRIDGES!! You're coating it with saliva. At least put your shirt over it before you blow to catch any water drops.
the magical blow always does the trick
I would love to see Diddy Kong Racing again. That was the most played game we had. Idk if it was that poplular though
Congratulations bro! The N64 was my childhood. The N64 was my first game consul with Super Mario 64. Everyone I went to school with had one.
I still have my n64

Sad thing is I owned sculptors cut back in 1999, and only paid $6.99 then, wish I still had the game now.
