I still have my original snap cartridge from the early 2000’s, now to have both is honestly the best feeling.
I'm getting my son this next week I showed him the trailer and he lost his mind he loves Pokemon but the main games are too much for him he doesn't get it yet but I know he will 🧡
Awesome! Getting this for my wife's son as well!
Pokemon fan 4 life

I played the original back when it released on the N64, rented it at Blockbuster lol. It was a fun game and I'm glad to see that the same energy is there in the new one. When I found out about this last year I got excited and even facilitated the purchase of a Switch during the mass shortage. I'll be picking this up soon, thanks for the review👍🏿
Jake is just going to ignore the fact TODD GREW UP WITH US
Very nostalgic! I've wondered for years now why they never came out with one. Super happy to see them release this
I remember renting the original back in simpler times
I've not played a Pokemon game in so many years, i can't believe how much it's changed especially with the visuals
I still got my original Pokémon snap brand new, sealed 😊
I bought one the year it came out when I was like 12
@@samimaltamimi yea. My copy was tucked aside along with my other games and just recently discovered when cleaning the house lol 😂
@@mbank3832 lol
I played the hell out of the N64 Snap, & have definitely been considering this one since the first whisper of it in production. Unfortunately Nintendo won't do the price on this one for years, so I'll probably end up paying full price, & hopefully a great expansion pack will follow.
It looks really fun just don't know if it look like $60 of fun.
Yeah same
I only knew of the existence of the original because I asked for Pokemon stadium and got Pokemon SNAP. I was so mad, until a few years older I could appreciate the game
Whenever I fail at something, I hear, "YoU wErE cLoSe!" from the old game.
Absolutely loved the og. Looking forward to picking up this new one.
Returnal really kicking my ass too 😅😅
Is returnal worth buying?
@@stalinparra9806 yes, if you like challenging game.
The idea of a psyduck backflipping out of tall grass and flipping off the player is the funniest thought I’ve had all week.
this needs to be a vr game
As a photographer and Pokémon fan I’m excited lol
This would be a sick VR game sadly, switch doesn’t have a “decent” VR option in ‘my opinion’!
Still have my nintendo 64 with pokemon snap and now I got new pokemon snap......awesome.
Lmao I’m not gonna buy it cause I don’t have switch but I still feel compelled to watch gameranx’s videos
Now I just need a slightly darker Pokemon Coliseum game again. I loved the first one on my gamecube
I was literally JUST thinking like 2 SECONDS AGO
*Hmm, Pokemon Snap looks pretty cool, but is it worth sixty bucks?*
I would probably say no, but Pokemon fans would buy it if it was priced at $260 dollars.
I'm really tempted honestly but I'll probably wait till it gets a reduced price
@@Chrisjamesbrown except eshop does not reduce prices over time :/
@@thisismynamepal is it digital only?
If you are a completionist, yes, it is packed with content!
I made a Picture of Pitchu with Grookey next to it. Grookey is only seen as a small green sliver at the edge of the picture. The game counted it as a Grookey foto and gave a lot of points for it.
but how is the music? The original was captivating, mysterious, enjoyable, and the mew level was mystifying and almost sad
Google the soundtrack, I think it's good, but it's better to listen yourself.
I don't much about about Pokemon, but I do know that the monster shown at 1:55 should probably have a censor bar over it
Yeah, you're right, we can't have scorpions dying one camera
Pokemon snap me back to a time when we got good Pokémon games
I never got to play the original Pokemon Snap. Wasn't too big on the n64 as a kid. Was more a playstation kid during that gen. I'm tempted to get this if only to feel what it's like.
Hey you Pikachu..only true Pokémon fans remember that on the N64
I played the original when i was probably about 6 years old and i remember it vividly and it brings back really good memories
Now will the Poke Center be selling sticker prints of our images to be shipped in the mail?
Wow, this looks like it would be amazing in VR.
Girl- what’s your snap ID?
Me- it’s complicated
Love these vids. Got my fingers crossed you're planning to do a Returnal one.
BEEN WAITING ALL DAY FOR THIS!
Gotta see if Jake tells me to spend my money
Make up your own mind kid sad you need people to do it for you
Pokemon Snap VR would be so amazing.
Can't wait to grab a copy, forgot it came out yesterday.
"This a very simple, bare bones game with barely any content, please pay us full price 60 bucks because it gives you nostalgia chills". Next up from Nintendo: A single 3d model of pikatchu that you can turn around, only for 59.99
I didn't have a N64 but I remember playing a lot in a Burger King on Sunday mornings lol
