Happy holidays everyone! This will be my last video before Christmas and what better way to go out than with a highlight of one of the best and most destructive Heavyweights in history! My favorite combination of Tyson's was his hook to the body followed by his vicious uppercut so that's what I wanted to showcase here. Iron Mike at his devastating best! www.patreon.com/haNZAgod
in the day that you eat of it: ye shall surely become gods. and you shall die if you cross me. therefore be brave men and I shall reward thee as warriors
Tyson vs ribalta was probably some of the best combination punching tyson showed, His uppercuts vs ribalta where like poetry in motion, Just perfection.
Never old enough to see these fights but i love watching reels. This dude was a straight monster. Couldnt pay me 2 million to take a few rounds with Tyson. Even today at his age he is jacked
Cus D’Mato did an outstanding job at making sure that Mike perfected that Peekaboo style, i guess when he carried Floyd Patterson out of the ring twice after him being KO’d by Sonny “Night Train” Liston Cus probably felt that he failed with Floyd Patterson. But when he got Mike he said ok i got another chance to work with a fighter teach him this style and even in his old age he made sure that Mike perfected his style. S/O to Hanzagod for another great video and happy holidays to you and the people who comment on this video 💯.
It takes two to tango though. Cus was the perfect teacher for Mike, but equally, Mike was the perfect student for Cus. No one Cus had worked with, and probably almost no one in the world, had the attributes and work ethic to make the peek a boo style work the way Mike did. As you say, Cus tried it with other fighters like Patterson and Torres, but Mike was the zenith of Cus's coaching philosophy. In puglisim terms, it was a match made in heaven and both gave as much to each other in the end.
The most animalistic fighter in recent boxing history...among the best uppercuts Tyson ever landed was that one against Buster Douglas, pinpoint and murderous and...Buster got up from it and showed that on that night (at least) he was ATG worthy. Nobody will ever get tired of watching Mike Tyson fights in the future. Respect Hanzgod
Iron MIke in his heyday was the most frightening fighter I've seen. Only a young George foreman comes close. Destruction on two legs. Two-fisted demolition machine. Happy holidays, haNZAgod, thank you for the upload.
Nobody uses that body shot followed but a nasty upper cut like tyson did , although there is one person today who has a mean uppercut that will lay u out and thats gervonta tank davis , that kids power reminds me of tyson
When people bring up chins ( ability to take a punch ) Holyfield does not get mentioned nearly enough . He was undersized in every single one of his heavy lb bouts ,4 dude was still a cruiser (the best cruiser ever) and turned into a top 10 all time heavy lb .
Si le hubieran dejado el sonido de los golpes de mike tyson, en vez de esa horrible música a ese video. Entonces, fuera excelente. Por favor hágalo otra vez y tome mi consejo.
@@hanzagod Thanks mate, your taste in music for these videos is superb. One more question! What was the music you used in Jimmy Young Defensive Skills and Highlights?
I just see Ali out boxing him if I'm honest, any time Tyson gets in close Ali would tie him up in those vice-like clinches of his (Mike had no inside game whatsoever) so I'd definitely pick Ali to win a fairly comfortable decision with perhaps some shaky moments early.
exactly, if he can do his aggressive defense style early and catches Paul off guard with a power shot after a weak jab it could be all over in the first couple of rounds… no offense to Tommy Fury but even now I’m sure Tyson’s skills and power far outclass him, just hoping he is healthy and has enough in the tank (gonna be optimistic now)
Top 10 HW ever but with that being said he is overrated by many clueless casuals who call him the “goat” or “greatest”. He lost most of his legacy fights.
@@matthewnikitas2904 Ok. But combat sports ARE for casual people. Visceral violence. Hardcore boxing fans don't make up the majority of the people paying for those PPVs. Jack Dempsey brought boxing onto the world stage because casual fans wanted to see him fight. Same with Tyson. Or Liston. Or Foreman. People don't care about ring IQ or punch selection. They want to see a fighter who moves them inside. Someone they seek to emulate in real life. Mike Tyson might not have been the greatest heavyweight, but his cultural impact soars above every other modern heavyweight with the exception of Muhammad Ali. Go ask a casual why they think Lennox Lewis was a top 5 heavyweight all time... and they'll either won't have an answer, or they'll say it's because he beat Mike Tyson. Same with Holyfield.
@@matthewnikitas2904 fact is he is the best fighter of the 90s, if you study this it's pretty obvious. Before 2000 he still had a great record only lost to holyfield and douglas. Holyfield lost to a lot of other opponents too. He knocked Larry Holmes out, Larry went on to dominate some of the 90s best boxer when he was 43-50 and didn'tget knocked out but when he was in his late 30s he got knocked out by tyson, he beat Spinks in one round, he beat Tony Tucker who was very solid and underrated, he beat trevor berbick, he dominated golota, he dominated frank bruno, he beat pinklon thomas, tony tubbs, brian nielsen. He beat the late 80s best boxers dominantly and there is no evidence that suggests those were a lot weaker than the 90s best.
It was poor clinch work from Bruno that's for sure but by that point he was totally gassed, hurt and basically finished. Tyson didn't have a good inside game and wrapping him up was a legitimate strategy.
Although hopelessly outclassed, Jose Ribalta put up a hell of a fight against Mike regarding his ability to get back up after going down. Mike stated that he was the toughest opponent he ever faced.
Couldn’t pay me all the money in the world to go 1 round with Mike. Even now. What good is all that money when I’m dead or at the very least, a vegetable.
If Sri Tyson would ve had a competition with Muhammed Ali????? Ali would not see the second round.... One body shot and one uppercut thats it fate of tall competetors when he was on his peak before jail😂😂😂😂

Appreciation of your great work through another crazy year! Happy Holidays!

he wanted it so bad and ended the fight immediately. he bit off the holy man of ear he is retired and he is the greatest. Evander forgave him
Right hook to the body right uppercut it's a classic Tyson combo
Just a little bit power, and Holyfield will finished soon.
Most devastating uppercut artist of all time!!!
Best way to learn uppercut - from Tyson
There is only one Mike Tyson one kid Dynamite. One of the most exciting boxers of all time. Thank you Mike and thank u haNZAgod. Great job

Yup beautiful slippery slick fast destructive 213 lb Mike Tyson
Whenever I think of fighters I would be terrified to step into the ring with, prime Mike Tyson is the first that comes to mind.
The speed, the accuracy, the power... Tyson in his prime was just perfection.
I was a little disappointed to see this would only be 5 minutes long. Then I remember you can fit 3 of his entire fights in that timeframe.
Оne of the best boxers who ever entered the ring. Happy holidays, Hanza!

Great work as always haNZAgod! The punishment that Pinklon Thomas took is absurd.
showed a better chin than I had given him credit for, gotta say
1:22
Holy sh*t, that’s a wii sports boxing level knockout
@John Ekberg Jose ribalta I think
His inside work in both the Bruno fights is a master class.

Amazing how accurate Mike Tyson's Punchout was with the uppercut. It Looked like a real life simulation🚴♂️.
Great work as always!
Merry Christmas!!!

1:23 The most brutal and perfect uppercut I've seen from Mike Tyson👌

Finally) about Mike Tyson
Undisputed Heavyweight Monster in his Prime
Mean! The GOAT!
Fights from heart. Real street fighter
Never seen an era with a boxer like tyson since. A unqiue specimen.
2:01 love how he just get gently pushed over
That bodyshot uppercut combo is such an efficient movement.
To me the best most exciting boxer of all time, genuine legend..Period.
The uppercut king!
His uppercuts looked like they could have send you to some other Dimension
Prime Tyson was a force of nature. It's a damn shame cus d'amato died and he ended up with snakes in his corner.
Another great video hanza 🔥 hoping also for David tua devastating combinations
Definition of precision
Do more of sonny liston, pls. Great video hanza
Mike' Uppercut is the best in the Boxing Business. Only a few survived. 😂

The most ferocious uppercut in the business.
He moved like frazer and hit like foreman, dude was amazing
I wish I could have just one Mike Tyson uppercut to use lol!
Lol you can, practice brother that’s all it takes
This is the best video ever made

True holyfield was a 200 lb cruiserweight fighting and beating super heavyweights nearly 60+lbs heavier then him like big George foreman
Here for the refresher before JP fight.
YESSSSSSSSSSS
... Holy shit 😳
The best ever
feliz natal hanza
Can’t wait to see tyson going beast mode with those combinations on jake paul 💀

Nah his right hand was so nasty 😤😤🦍💥💥💥💥💥💪🏽
Dammit
Sometimes I think about how good he could have been if he never fired Kevin Rooney and got with that snake don king… crazy
I think Mike had so much unresolved trauma. I think he was always going to struggle but for sure King made it even worse.
He would’ve fallen anyway , partying and loose women always destroys successful men
Don king just used him to steal all his money I think Tyson needed people around him who truly cared for him and wanted to see him succeed absolutely
Anyone know the song?

UP AND OUT!!!!!!…..Whew!!!!!
And people say Tyson couldn't be Ali when his fighting style is literally made for taller fighters and to close in
I just see Ali out boxing him if I'm honest, any time Tyson gets in close Ali would tie him up in those vice-like clinches of his (Mike had no inside game whatsoever) so I'd definitely pick Ali to win a fairly comfortable decision with perhaps some shaky moments early.
Here after Paul “slept” August… needed to verify what a true lethal upper looks like. Last night was not it. This. This is it.
58 years old, but why do I still believe there’s a chance he can win tomorrow? Because he’s Tyson, I guess
@@TEk0n And because Jake Paul is a TH-camr. Let’s not forget, it’s not like Tyson is facing Ali in his prime here.

Any of the legit opponents he faced (Lennox Lewis and Holyfield) he lost. You can make all the excuses you want but you can’t change the facts

We also have to give credit to his opponents as well. I think the average human being would just drop dead after an uppercut like that.
Yup, Jose Ribalta tanking one of Mike's uppercut in the manner he did is still perhaps the most impressive example of getting back up I've ever seen.
Play the video on 2 times speed. 😅
logan paul be like 'i wanna fight this guy"
The absolute worst strategy is to try and hang onto Tyson as he’s pounding you with body blows and uppercuts. 1:27 for proof of that
It was poor clinch work from Bruno that's for sure but by that point he was totally gassed, hurt and basically finished. Tyson didn't have a good inside game and wrapping him up was a legitimate strategy.
He gunna kill Jake Paul with this infamous combo
When you think uppercuts, you think Mike Tyson.
Yup, when you think destruction you think Mike Tyson
Jake Paul is in a lot of trouble. I don't give af about old Iron Mike is. This man is a beast.
Of course Tyson had power….but that coupled with the SPEED he had, was something…
