There’s a 33k mile 04 sti for sale on marketplace for $54,000. Clean low mileage 04-07 stis are insane. Hell, the cheapest Hawkeye sti for sale that I can find within 4 hours of me that doesn’t need a ton of work and isn’t a rust bucket is still $19kwith 123k miles on it. I paid $12k for my 04 sti with 164k miles on it now just last year. These cars are definitely only going to get more expensive over the years.
That body is super clean but the check engine light is because of the exhaust means it is not tuned. Subies, especially Hawkeye sti’s do not like modifications without tunes
Nah my 07 sti was throwing a check engine light and and it turns out it was just the gas cap had to replace it and reset it haven’t had a problem since.
No its not the modified exhaust, its actually a Evaporative Emission Control System Malfunction. My 06 Sti does the same thing. Probably just had a janky fuel cap.
It was for sale before subaru announced no more STI's, now its worth 5-7 grand more than what they sold it for last year lol it it will keep going up 20-30% per year going forward.

great investment, have had my 06 sti for 4 years and still just 45k miles. That KBB has gone up since owning the car.
Just trade in stocks if you're looking for an investment. Leave the cars to the enthusiasts who want to drive them

@@rebelliousgoat1557 yes it would bud, I’ve got an 07 STI and an 05 wrx and both need tunes after exhausts. They will throw a code

@Kaan The car had no cataylic converters, thus the CEL turning on. LMFAO try you again
Spectrum intake on a STI 🤮 pretty sure it wasn’t tuned for the intake.
Some people just like driving it for fun or for snowy roads, not everyone having STI should tune it for drag races tho

@@moe.moe.codgamer5125 it’ll run lean and cause it to blow up. Most of the engine mods you do to a Subaru you need to get them tuned.
