    Cool overview. I'm going to be building a new whoop soon so this came at a good time :)

      +Le Drib thanks! Many months of whoop building... 😀

    good info Albert. I have 2 whoops with the old Inductrix frame. never had a problem with breaking anything.....and they have taken a beating !

    What about cutting the prop "guards" for an outdoor and flyer, installing a little longer two blade props, cutting the heatshrink on the antenna? I dont think its of any use, is it? Guess 16g without battery is possible.

    +Albert Kim Thanks for this! Perfect timing too. I've been very disappointed with my TW. After the initial takeoff I get basically one punch out then hovering is 50% throttle. Really was thinking it was my new batteries. They just happen to be the same hobby tigers you run so I'm not sure now. Tip: If you pull the wrapper on each side of the battery out a little it gives it a tighter fit.

      From all my experimenting with these variations I've learned that the most important factor is the weight. I think getting it to about 18.5g is gonna be optimal and then you can do those rolls without it falling too fast. If you have a whoop near 24g, you'll have problems. Doesn't seem like much but every 0.1g makes a difference!

    • @joelpearson8623
      @joelpearson8623 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Albert Kim mine is 20.8g. I even built my own 10mw vtx instead of the regular 25mw hoping that would help but it's 5.6g alone so I bet a light aio vtx would help a lot

    • @AlbertKimTV
      @AlbertKimTV  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      check out the one I used. It's only 3.4g! Really light weight

    Hey I'm here for the link for the taranis, I didn't know you were the guy I watched to get me into making a tiny whoop! Awesome. What a coincidence! Nice video by the way

      @AlbertKimTV  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! Here's where you can get the Taranis Q7 - goo.gl/8wypUO.... however, if you're interested in building a Whoop you can fly with the Evolution, I will have a video on how to do that in a few days (maybe next week).

    On your jst connectors get some female with solid pins and solder the wires on it. You don’t get the power loss like you do from the crimped hollow connectors that most are. Some company sells them for $5 but you can get a set of 20 male and female for $5.

    Do you know the Inductrix VTx and cam weight in comparison to your lightest set? That Inductrix FPV gear works so nice just with the stock whip.

    • @AlbertKimTV
      @AlbertKimTV  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I was not able to measure it when I had it but I'm pretty sure it weighs more than the camera I'm using. It also comes with a light whip antenna.

    Nice to see your face on the other side of the camera!
    You can also use nail trimmers to clip blades

    I had a similar setup, but put on insane motors and high voltage lipos with power whoop connectors (2 amp) and it is a rocket and can do ridiculous loops and rolls...

    Unbelievable how just a few grams with these tiny whoops makes a big performance improvement. With Beta and super rates you can get very quick rolls and flips for inside flying loosing next to no altitude. You may have to do CLI to get the Rx range correct depending on radio gear.

    • @AlbertKimTV
      @AlbertKimTV  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      When I tried to increase the roll rate it would kinda go crazy at the end of the roll. I think the motors don't have enough authority to stop the roll in case it goes too fast.

    great video. Does anybody know the weight difference between the bee-brain board and the stock and duck inductrix board?

    What percentage throttle do you hover at with the T-Mart battery? And flight times?
    Awesome video, was looking just for something like this!

    • @AlbertKimTV
      @AlbertKimTV  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Gulzaar FPV less than half throttle. Flight time about 3 min

    You don't have to switch the Connectors at your small Lipos. They are available with the JST ph 2.0 Connectors now. Why don't you use stronger motors?

    What is the difference in weight between the BeeCore F3 and the Eachine F3 tiny EVO brushed FC? Any reason to pick BeeCore over the Eachine apart from the nice fit?

    • @PuttingOnTheFoil
      @PuttingOnTheFoil 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I just realized BeeCore has built in RX... so never mind

    • @AlbertKimTV
      @AlbertKimTV  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, built in receiver means less overall weight.

    • @PuttingOnTheFoil
      @PuttingOnTheFoil 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well it might not be the lightest possible, but I put together one with the E010 frame, the tiny F3 Evo FC, an FS-A8S RX, and the Boldclash F-01 AIO camera. Flies well on turnigy nano-tech 160 for about 2.5 mins. Will look into the cells you listed. Thanks for your videos! I hate trying to pick components blindly.

  • @OxcydeGaming
    @OxcydeGaming 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Hey great vid that looks dope :) I wanna get a tinywhoop in the future and I'm thinking of going custom with it too! I have a question though, where did you get this song for the flight part of the vid? I've seen/heard it before and I'm curious if it's like a youtube copyright free song or if you found it elsewhere. Thanks!

    make it 2 bladed. Youget even longer flight times and with the higher kv motors you will not loose trust.

    I'm Going to build a 90mm Brushless Tiny whoop. Using the racestar 1103 Motors and some 6A Esc's. and of cause a Kiss Flight controller. cant wait to get the parts in the mail. because i feel that those Brushed Tiny whoop's are not enough for me anymore. and flying my 210 and and 250 race quad's inside the house is not an option.
