For kids do not use a metal tip to touch the bind button!!!! If you touch a chip connectors with the screwdriver you will get sparks. And rune the board.
In the FT podcast there was talk of beginner/intermediate/advanced settings, so you could go from docile response to highly responsive. Does one of the other switches change settings?
