- Sevr Mechanical Broadheads! There are my out there but not many that people have confidence in. Based on my first impressions of the Sevr Broadheads I will be using these as my mechanical broad heads of choice for 2023. Listen in on my favorite features of the broadheads and why I recommend them. After use in the field I will provide a follow up review as well.

I used the SEVR 1.5 this past fall in Illinois. 32 yards. 9 point. 195lb. Big bodied. Hit him forward. The old warrior jumped 15 yards straight into the woods. I walked to the edge of the woods and the blood trail was massive...I couldn't believe it. Every 10 feet was a massive pool of blood. Went down at the creek bottom. 45-50 yards. I am a big time believer after that hunt. SEVR will alway have a spot in my quiver, 100%. I think you will really like them. My fixed are QAD Exodus and Grim Reaper Micro Hades.
Heck yeah!!! Sounds like a great recovery
SEVR 1.75 and 2.0 for whitetail…… shot my bear with the 1.75….. massive blood trail; complete pass through.
these are awesome. good luck this year with them. Smoked a couple of hogs with them last year.
That is great to hear! Stoked to get them in the field this year
Legal as of last year in Idaho. 6 bull elk last year with them and 5 so far this year in our group. I love these broadheads.
Wow that’s a ton of elk congrats to you guys!!!
Can’t wait to see the blood trails we will follow this fall!
Agreed! Can't wait!
Awesome review! Been looking at these broadheads closely. I’m not sure if they came up with the “locking the blades in” idea, the Levi Morgan series from Schwacker has had that feature for a while.. but I still thinks it’s smart. I currently shoot grim reapers and have had great luck with those too.
I’m stoked to get them out with turkeys this month and put them to the test. And yeah I’ve used grim reapers and like them too.
Hope to win the dialed arxos!!🙏🏼
Good luck 🙌🏻
That is a great broadhead. I shoot Rage hypodermic no collar out of my V3X 29. They fly great. And i have taken two hoggs wt them. But there one and done broadheads.
Gotcha, yeah I have really liked these so far but I’ll give an update after I get them out on a hunt
@@redbeard_outdoors ok Thank you
Wish you all the luck using Sevr. I almost lost a 10pt last Thursday because my Sevr 1.5 didnt deploy the blades. I shot him 20yds with a perfect broad side shot behind the front leg. Small round entrance whole and small round exit whole. Plus the arrow ricochet down and out the gut area. He was still alive after 3hrs. Found him the very next morning on the path we walked out on.
That is very interesting and I’m sorry to hear that experience man. It’s my number two and I’ll be trying them on white tail. After this video I found the evolution Hyde and used that on my elk this year

I love the look but I have to save up they are expensive
I definitely understand that but titanium is definitely more costly than aluminum. Hopefully you’ll be able to grab some soon
the 2.0 that you are using is 150 gr......NOT 125 gr...
Not sure why you’re feeling that I’m trying to misinform you but this is the 125gr
Goodluck with that
Have you shot them before?
