I Love Treasure Planet. One of my first disney movies. And one of my top favorites. Jim Hawkins is my favorite Disney Hero/Protagonist. He is a rebel, sure, but he cares about his mother, dreams of adventure since childhood, and longs for a father figure when his birth father left him and his mother. Yep, you heard right. No tragic death, no murder. Jim's father just got up and left. That's really rare for any film geared towards younger audiences, let ALONE Disney, to tackle such a more mature theme. Yeah, there are many rebellious young characters, especially in the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s, but Jim had a believable and relatable reason to why he's rebellious, angsty and reckless. It makes Jim Hawkins more sympathetic, and even Empathetic for many people. He is more grounded as a character. It make him, in many respects, more believable, more relatable, and a little more, Real. His song reflected all that. It wasn't edgy, grimdark, or a metal head rock song for the bruting, moody, emo, and hardcore feel. It's elegant, yet straight forward. It's inspiring, yet somber. It's simple, yet complex. That's why I'll always love Jim Hawkins and Treasure Planet. And that's why I'll always love this song. Because by the end of the day, we may all feel separate, alone, unwanted, maybe even shunned or disgraced by everyone else. But we can all stand up, look at those morons dead in the eyes, and say, "I'm Still Here". Thank you Anna. You rock.
i know Disney live actions have been kind of shakey lately but with the right team this would be a pretty good live-action film along with making it more known
Things I learned from watching Treasure Planet: • friends are family you choose • always check treasure volts for lasers • welding is flex seal on steroids
The term blood is thicker than water is actually taken from the quote "the blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb" so in a since the bonds formed by choice are stronger than ones formed at birth.
I see it as loosely based on the book - they changed so much for the (amazing, heartfelt) storyline and the tech add-ins, that it really became its own thing. ❤️
Treasure Planet deserved WAY more than it got. It honestly feels like such an amazing movie was deliberately set up to fail in the box office. It was a groundbreaking film of traditional animation combined so well with upcoming CGI, and it was absolutely a creative spin on a cherished classic. It had adventure, drama, comedy, thrill! It should have gotten its sequel or perhaps even its own TV series. I mean GOD Emperor's New Groove got all that and while it was funny it wasn't really all that deep or as interesting as Treasure Planet.
@@reniselim8630 About a pirate villain named Ironbeard; Jim would have sought out Silver for help and he would have fallen in love with a classmate from the interstellar academy
@@okamireader5 oof well that would have slightly sucked for me I always thought Jim was gay...even as a kid.But I would have been happy to see the sequel anyways

I watched Treasure Planet for the first time after hearing this song (specifically this cover). I had put it off for so long because someone once told me it was a weird movie that didn't make any sense and I just took their opinion at face value. Big mistake, this movie is amazing and is now probably my favorite Disney movie. In fact, it was one of the few times where I've watched a movie and I've thought, "Wow, I want to watch it again!" The animation was beautiful, the story was great, a lot of the usual tropes (comic relief character, forced romance) were still present but given their proper place in the background where they belong. Just all around great movie. It's such a shame it got buried by so many other already well-established franchises at the time it came out. Of all Disney movies that were given sequels that didn't need one, I can't believe Treasure Planet didn't get one; it has so much set up already for a great sequel.
Disney higher ups purposefully blocked Treasure Planet for over a decade and then scuttled her at launch due to internal politics with the two writer/directors. Also, Hot Captain Cat Girl 😍
My parents had a business where they rented movies, I never saw it because it did not attract my attention and I thought it would bore me. A little over a week ago I saw it when I found this cover again ... I regret so much not having seen it before, it is a movie that touched my heart and I have already seen it 3 times.
There was a sequel planned and well as a tv show, but Disney didn't believe in it so the movie got bad promotion for it's release. Disney didn't think that it would be a success.
Honestly only watched both of them recently but yes they're both amazing and was done v dirty by Disney. Especially atlantis with that absolutely horrendous sequel
Omg Atlantis 😭I keep forgetting that movie even existed... Ah those days were such a golden age for original movies, each with their unique style. The nostalgia actually hurts here damn..
Treasure Planet is truly one of the most underrated disney movies and I stand by that! It never fails to make me happy, who doesnt love space pirates!! You voice is gorgeous as always!
Same! Actually, I found out about its existence after playing Treasure Planet: Battle at Procyon. That game and the movie were my childhood lmao. I've always loved both
the reason treasure plant was underrated cause it was a story from hunderds of years and there were a bunch of movies about it and by the time treasure plant came it it was pretty dead and boring
Ok, I'm crying my eyes out. When I was a little girl, I had a special connection to this movie, still do actually. I was an outcast, very inmerse in what I liked and always had problems making friends. I never had a relationship with my dad, he left us when I was a baby. This song is a big part of my acceptance towards my life, and hearing you sing it.. Idk, it just fills me with so much warmth. I thank you for sharing your talent, I'm trying to become a professional singer as well so this gives me the hope I need. Love ya! Keep being awesome! ♥
Life is never easy sure theres always a bright side but when you realized what you choose is allways better than dark yes we choose bad choices but we never make mistake me iam trying be new person when heard this song it gaves me hope so never ever give up your dream and god bless you may be your side❤🙂
I understand how you feel. I was little misfit myself and always got labeled as weird or freak& found out 12th grade I was autistic. Now looking back I see weird as a compliment bc hey at least I’m different instead of basic
Treasure and Atlantis are the most underrated Disney movies of all time. Edit: WOW thanks for all the likes. This is the most I’ve gotten. Edit 2: I’m also gonna add Emperors New Groove, Hunchback, Black cauldron, Brother Bear, and Meet the Robinsons. Edit 3: Also Hercules and The Sword in the Stone
For real! These with Hunchback were my personal favorites! Screw the beauty and the beast remake I wanna see a live action adaption with cyborgs and space pirates!
For anyone who wondered why this movie didn't make it big, ot was released the same time LotR: Two Towers, SW: Attack of the Clones, Lilo & Stitch, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets Part 2 came out. So.. Had some big hitters kind of hide it.
Disney really should consider a Re-Release of this underrated masterpiece in theaters. I bet parents would buy tickets to give their children a chance to experience this masterful film on the big screen.
Watching this movie at age 14 literally changed my life. I suddenly felt so understood in my struggles growing up. I often felt doomed to stay a good-for-nothing troublemaker. I felt like no one believed in me anyway. This movie inspired me so much and showed me that even though it may be difficult at times, you have the power to change your life and show the world what talents you actually have.
I cannot thank the friend that showed me your channel enough, and I've already told another music loving friend of your channel as well. Thank you for sharing such gorgeous singing and melting my heart with such beauty and nostalgia. May all your days be as bright as the singing is beautiful. ..might want to invest in extra protective sunglasses if that happens though, heh..
I came to witness wholesome content. Don’t mind me as I sit back and take in all of this. The world is basically falling apart. But this.. This is enough to save it ❤️
This song became my comfort song because I can relate to Jim except that it's my own mother who was the one bringing me down (I live in an Asian household). Whenever I listen to this, it made me believe in myself for a moment that I can be more than what she say.
You should believe in yourself. Never define yourself by what anyone says. You have infinite potential. Be what you want to be, not what anyone tells you to be.
@@thanos5149 Done dirty is an expression used when someone or something wasn't treated appropriately. In this context saying that a film was done dirty means that it didn't get the attention or advertising it deserved. Specifically it's referring to the fact that it was set up to fail so they could transition out of 2D animation into 3D animation. As the last drawn 2D film by this studio they purposefully shaded it so they could put more attention on the bold new direction they were taking.
Can we just talk about her voice??? Like damnn it's really good! Especially for this cover??? She makes it sound really similar to the original song except with her own voice. I personally rarely see that for covers. I love her voice!!!
If I ever become a millionaire I would buy the rights for treasure planet 2 and actually produce it and I don't care I become broke by the end of it, I would die happy : )
i actually feel like the sequel would ruin the first movie. it’s amazing on its own, i just wish they’d reproduce it or something. it deserves so much praise and i wish people get to see the movie all over again, or watch it for the first time
Some say that for those who haven't watch the movie this sounds like a break-up song, but to me It sounds like a coming out and accepting yourself kind of song.
I've always just viewed it as a "fuck everyone else ima do me and do what I want....once I get myself out of this depression pit that I've fallen into." This and "Iris" by The Goo Goo Dolls are my fave songs, ever. Helps that the lead singer of the band did this song for the movie, so his voice def caught my ear as a kid watching this movie. Definitely up there in my top 5 fave Disney animated movies.
This movie was a huge part of my childhood. It's sad how underrated it is, because low-key it's a cinematic masterpiece. It's universe, animation and art style, the characters. I love treasure island and treasure planet just took its vibes and made them just as perfect but in a totalley different way.
Same I had this and Atlantis at home and kept rewatching it (With mamma Mia and several Barbie movies) and every time I would just sit in awe and get so worked up. I think at one point I knew every line Jim had but I’ve forgotten since the movie got lost Q^Q

3:20 The lyrics were forgotten to be edited from "And how can the world want me to change?" to "And how can you say I'll never change?". Despite that, love the cover! Can't wait to replay this over and over for like an hour.
Treasure planet holds a special place in my heart. Saw the movie a year after it came out when me and my brother were kids when we were spending the summer with our uncle and his girlfriend. He ordered it for us on demand. We watched it twice that night and ended up singing I'm still here.
Lyrics I am a question to the world not and answer to be Heard or a moment that's held in your arms and what do you think you'd ever say I won't listen anyway you don't know me and I'll never be what you want me to be and what do you think you'd understand I'm a boy no, I'm a man You can't take me and throw me away And how can you learn what's never shown Yeah you stand here on your own They don't know me Cause I'm not here And I want a moment to be real Wanna touch things I don't feel We want to hold on and feel I belong And how can the world want me to change They're the ones that stay the same They don't know me Cause I'm not here And you see the things they never see All you wanted I could be Now you know me and I'm not afraid And I wanna tell you who I am Can you help me be a man They can't break me As long as I know who I am They can't see me But I'm still here They can't tell me who to be Cause I'm not what they see Yeah, the world is still sleeping While I keep on dreaming for me And their words are just whispers and lies That I'll never believe And I want a moment to be real Wanna touch things I don't feel We want to hold on and feel I belong And how can they say I'll never change They're the ones that stay the same I'm the one now Cause I'm still here I'm the one Cause I'm still here I'm still here I'm still here I'm still here Ahhhhh I loved the cover💞💞💞
This is literally my favorite Disney movie, so it makes me sad that it's so underrated and forgotten! So I was really excited when you said you were going to cover it! I'm so glad and I'm actually crying right now! Thank you SO MUCH for blessing this song with your voice Anna! It's truly beautiful!
I remember when my mom came home with the DVD when i was younger and after i watched it i thought it was the best movie EVER. But when i told my friends abt it they had never heard of the movie before and i was so surprised. So sad how really great movies like this are so underrated. Ahead of its time when it came to how deep it really is
This. This song right here, it was a song that described me so much, I felt so invisible growing up. This song helped me so much back then and helped me get out there. While I'm still kind of an Introvert, this song helped bring out the little flash of extrovert I sometimes have, it helped me get out there and talk with people. When this movie first came out and I heard this song it helped me grow a little more. Everything we experience, from songs, shows, movies, games, Anime, Manga, books, and the experiences from interacting with people change us in little ways, plant seeds to make us different people. A garden of our hearts blooms from our experiences, and this song has a special place in my hearts garden. Thank you for singing this song Anna, you did this song right and proud.
I will forever love this song and this movie. Me and my dad watched it all the time and i will continue to watch it after he passes. This song specifically has gotten me through some rough patches. I am so happy you covered it because you're one of my favorite content creators and idk. You did the song so much justice. Thank you for this beautiful cover. Sorry for being mushy ;-;
I distinctly remember that I used to watch this at least once a day until my mom got sick of it and hid it from me when I was like 8 lmao. Made me appreciate it even more when I found it again, and I’m proud to say I can still quote 90% of it beat for beat. 10/10 favorite movie of all time.
Treasure planet is a great movie that doesn't get the love it deserves. Watched it with my roomie a few nights ago on Disney+ when I saw you were gonna sing this and just... I was blown away again. Thank you for reminding me of a memory
This is my favorite song of all time from my favorite movie of all time. Both mean literally everything to me for multiple reasons. This is THE best cover I’ve heard of this song. Your voice is so strong and powerful and you bring a perfect amount of vibrato and runs that are well-placed and add to the song rather than overdoing it like other covers do. Well well done!!
Honestly, if they just release some new trailers for it and advertise it better, mhm. They don’t even need a remake, they just need to let people know if it’s initial existence.
@@NoName-mp9if Who would ever advertise and spend money making trailers in new type of animation to remember everyone a old movie exists? Although the movie is really good, it makes no sense. No one advertises old products if there's a way to give them a reboot. Only a giant loss of money, because everyone can watch it free those days.
This is a masterpiece Anna,Your talent is breathtaking. Just amazing this is just amazing! I find your talent underrated, you have the voice of a angel but still dont get enough recgonation! Keep it going!
OMG ITS HERE!!! THIS IS MY FAVORITE SONG AND UR MY FAVORITE SINGER I THINK IM GONNA DIE!!!!!!! sorry for yelling I'm just really happy now cause I had a bad day and this is amazing! Also who knows when this comes on in the movie cause I do😋
I’ve listened to this song since i was in highschool, a teenager. I’m 30 now and this is the best version i’ve heard aside from the original. If a voice can make me fall inlove then this is it. Beautiful. Too bad I don’t even know the face of Annapantsu because it seems she don’t show it in her videos.
I loved this movie so much as a child that we had to get a second dvd because the first one became all scratched up. I think I liked it so much because both of my parents were in the Navy so I didn't get to see them all the time and because I never really had any friends growing up. It gave me hope that in the future I would be able to see wonderful things and meet interesting people and to just be me. The song sounds lovely btw, thanks for bringing back some good memories.
You can never get rid people who likes to find every negative details to another person's work. You might say that your voice doesn't really fit this kind of song or genre, but to me, you've already filled me with emotions the moment you sang the first line. That's all that matters. Thank you for all your hard work💕
Or some people are giving her criticism on how to get better I loved her voice but the song has a rougher edge to it and felt she could've done better.
Hi Anna, I doubt you’ll read this but I want you to know that this made me cry. Not a long of songs from movies made me cry, but this one made me tear up a bit cause it brought back some childhood memories that made me feel happy and sad so thank you for singing this song from my absolute favorite movie ever.
This whole movie is my comfort movie. My brother showed it to me when I was 8! I relate to Jim a lot since I was always a troublemaker and the person to ignore rules and always disappoint people, except it’s both of my parents who bring me down. This whole movie altered my brain chemistry lol every time my brother comes home we watch it together and for that time I feel like I have a father figure in my life. I love you brother and I hope you come back soon ❤
I literally gasped out loud and clicked the link so fast my head spun when I saw this pop up in my notifications. This is one of my favorite Disney songs and it does not get enough credit for how awesome is. So excited Anna is covering it!!!
It's, honestly, one of the great masterpieces of disney. It was sabatoged due to internal politics. The story loosely follows treasure island, however it grounds the main character in a way that I haven't seen from Disney before or since. Jim is from a broken home, but the reason why isn't shown. You just know the mom and dad fought. Which makes sense as it's from Jim's pov and he was young. The music, plot, characters, and visuals are phenomenal especially for the time it came out in. The main characters convey so much by not talking and just taking in what is going on. The movie actually was able to do the goal of animated story telling in show, don't tell. The motivations can be in one scene given with just a single thought spoken out loud, like the characters are for the first time admitting the truth or it could be shown with a single look to another character. The basic rundown is its pirates in space. And a boy learning how to grow up despite his actions and previous burned bridges with the help of the ships cook. But the extra nuance that they added to the plot of treasure island really took the cake. What made it better is that the main characters (bar one supporting character) are all treated with actual respect, in that you learn more about them, not by what they say, but what they don't say. And Delbert is a lovable dork and probably acts the way he does because he may have helped raise Jim. But in any case, the movie is amazing and deserves all the views it can get. There is no girl, no romance, no great discovery of magical bloodlines. Just a boy learning how to be a good man.
I adore this movie and rem clearly how often my twin sister and I put the dvd on as young kids. This song is by far my favorite from the film and one of my fav scenes. For real. it's underappreciated , a real gem. Great cover !
I've been listening to this song for so many years. Treasure planet has always been my favorite and most cherished Disney movie. Thank you for singing a song that means so much to me in so many different ways. This honestly almost brought me to tears.
God, I loved treasure planet so much, can't believe how underrated it is and I'm glad that there are some people that still know it. This is an amazing cover! I love it! You have such a beautiful voice and I can totally see you expending the way you use your vocal cords and I just know that you'll go so far with you singing! Keep up with this amazing work and not forget why you're doing this, not forget that you should enjoy yourself while creating these videos, not just because the people that view them are be demanding that you should create more videos.
this song makes me cry everytime just listening to the words, and thinking about it in Jim's perspective. Such an underrated movie and one of my favorites
I was amazed the first time I saw treasure planet when I was a kid and this song was so amazing. I'm now in high school and have one more year before college and I still love this movie all the same. I find that the older I get the more this song speaks to me not just as a cool jam but a song that means something to me. Currently I live in a broken home and I'm trying to peice myself back together. I love this song and I love your voice and you as a person. Even if you don't see this comment know that you have made my day. I'm literally crying because of how powerful it is and because of my situation. Please please please keep singing. Don't ever stop for nobody
I'm crying tears of joy. This is one of may favorite Disney movies (Atlantis and Lilo & Stitch are the other two) and this song is such a powerful one. It's a song that means a lot to me since I'm a kid and ngl some tears truly fell out while hearing this. This is so good. I'm in love.
I have no words just THANK YOU FOR THIS!! This movie means so much to me and I adore the song and I've been searching for a female cover for forever so I'm gonna be playing this for about 6 months tysm❤
Hell, Disney was constantly giving Treasure Planet the hard no ever since the Black Cauldron flop. Ron Clements and John Musker came up with Treasure planet around that time but Disney never said "Okay, sure thats sounds amazing". Only after the release of Hercules did Jessie Katzenberg give the okay. That's like 1985 - 1997, Ron Clements and John Musker asked Disney to make Treasure Planet for 12 years.
im honsty happy they didnt give it a sequel because im going to be honest becides the lion king there isnt a disney sequel that i like the nimations in some sequels change alot and sometimes just seemd rushed and i hostly love this movie has it is with no sequel
It's Treasure Plannet. And it's on Disney plus if you have it. And the kid in the pictures name is Jim and he is the most relatable Disney teen. He's bitter because his dad walked out on him and acts out. He try to put up a front for people and act tough so people don't see how broken he really is. The song talks about how he can't be better because his dad never taught him how to be a man. On the inside he's insecure and in need of a person to really be there and love him not just treat him like a delinquent who just being a rebal. He is sarcastic with a great sense of humor and throughout the movie learns how to face his emotions and open up and ultimately become satisfied with who he is. Their is no romance in the story because that's not the focus it's talking about real people and what children experience through broken homes. This movie is amazing the sci fi, the action and the character development is beautifuly done I hope you get a chance to watch it in the future.👊✌️😉
I had goosebumps the entire time I was listening to this. It's been well over 10 years since I last saw Treasure Planet, but damn does it still have an impact today.
Not tearing up, not one or two tears either, am actually crying. Feels like younger me watched this a life ago, but the impact it had on me lasts to this day, love you anna, love this song too.
@cheesecake_ Lover Some people just genuinely don't like the same things as you or me. I remember trying to share a song with my sister and she was said, "It isn't bad but I just don't like the song." There is no one thing that everyone likes. Plus, some people enjoy disliking a video for the sake of it even if they don't hate the content.
Fun fact, November 27 2022 is the 20 anniversary for Treasure Planet, a perfect excuse to rewatch (or watch for the first time, I’m only judging you don’t worry) the best movie ever made. I will fight you on this and win.
This is my first time listening to your cover of this song and lemme just say I got so emotional immediately, your voice really resonates with this song and I just couldnt help but sing along while sobbing. This is wonderful thank you.
Usually, when people recreate Disney songs, my initial reaction is, to quote Kuzco, "No touchie." This, however, was amazing. I love this song and sing at all the time. I've watched this movie six times and I only first saw it in early March. It's my favorite Disney movie, Morph is my favorite animal sidekick, the villain has a great redemption arc, the characters are quirky and unique, I love the creativity and ingenuity of it, love the music, love Jim, love the story. LOVE IT! It makes me want to take the helm and charge head first into an adventure. That would be a dream come true for sure. After all, I'm only a year younger than Jim is when he goes on one. Part of why this movie is my favorite Disney movie (which is saying a lot) is because I can sometimes relate to Jim and see from both sides of the spectrum. Once again, amazing job with the song. I think I bunny trailed during this comment, but I like sticking to the truth. Truth is, I can listen to this song on repeat for an hour and never get sick of it. Whether it's this version or the original, I love it. If I were wearing a hat, I'd say "Hat's off to you" but I'm not, so I'll just say "You're gonna rattle the stars you are." I wonder if you'll ever see this comment? I hope you do and that it touches your heart.
"You got the makings of greatness in you, but you gotta take the helm and chart your own course! Stick to it, no matter the squalls! And when the time comes, you'll get the chance to really test the cut of your sails and show what you're made of!"
😭😭😭
"Well...I hope I'm there. Catching some of the light coming off you that day."
And I thought I was done crying. Guess I'm watching Treasure Planet again this week.
@@theaceofspades7306 y'know same 🤔

This movie deserves more credit Im so sad this is underrated but its still a masterpiece
Agreed
This is a movie I remember fondly from my childhood, shame it's seen so poorly
Thank Disney internal politics for torpedoing it.
Aye.
It came out at the same time as Lilo and Stitch, so it kinda makes sense that no one saw it
One of the most underrated Disney film, and one of my all time favorite
Definitely
Dude same, it sucks most people didn't like it when it came out. But I will admit the robot seemed like it was intended for Robin William's (rip).
@@tornadoman3607 Yeah, BEN is the only thing I have complaints about in this movie.

I remember seeing this movie in theaters and was blown away by how amazing the setting was!
It's the solar surfer. TP lore noobs.
Disney did this movie a dirty. Glad to see people still remember that it exists.
I see it as loosely based on the book - they changed so much for the (amazing, heartfelt) storyline and the tech add-ins, that it really became its own thing. ❤️

*Silver:* "Just a lifelong obsession, Jim, I'll get over it."
Based.
It was supposed to have a sequel but since it flopped (*cough* sabotaged *cough*) it ended up getting cancelled

Oh, me too.
I woke up from a nap.
True Awkwardness that was all true lol
Lol
There is evidence that they had a partial or full sequel made and then shelved it.
Maybe one day we'll see it.
@@oliver4534 I have seen what little there is about the scenario of the sequel. It looked awesome, which makes it even worst that they shelved it.
Treasure plant, and Atlantis, are my fav Disney movies so sad how there not talked about more. Love this version of I’m still here.
Honestly only watched both of them recently but yes they're both amazing and was done v dirty by Disney. Especially atlantis with that absolutely horrendous sequel
Yeah. Both movies are horrendously underrated, and deserve much more love for their animation and story telling.
Honestly those movies are so underrated it breaks my heart that not many people liked this movie 😭
very much the same! they are very much my 2 faves and they get so little recognition
Omg Atlantis 😭I keep forgetting that movie even existed... Ah those days were such a golden age for original movies, each with their unique style. The nostalgia actually hurts here damn..

Space Pirates bois!!!
I love this movie and I wish more people even knew about it!
This would make for an excellent live action adaption! I was so annoyed with all the princess movies getting adaptions, but I wanna see space pirates!
Ok, I'm crying my eyes out. When I was a little girl, I had a special connection to this movie, still do actually. I was an outcast, very inmerse in what I liked and always had problems making friends. I never had a relationship with my dad, he left us when I was a baby.

I am a question to the world
not and answer to be Heard
or a moment that's held in your arms
and what do you think you'd ever say
I won't listen anyway
you don't know me
and I'll never be what you want me to be
and what do you think you'd understand
I'm a boy no, I'm a man
You can't take me and throw me away
And how can you learn what's never shown
Yeah you stand here on your own
They don't know me
Cause I'm not here
And I want a moment to be real
Wanna touch things I don't feel
We want to hold on and feel I belong
And how can the world want me to change
They're the ones that stay the same
They don't know me
Cause I'm not here
And you see the things they never see
All you wanted I could be
Now you know me and I'm not afraid
And I wanna tell you who I am
Can you help me be a man
They can't break me
As long as I know who I am
They can't see me
But I'm still here
They can't tell me who to be
Cause I'm not what they see
Yeah, the world is still sleeping
While I keep on dreaming for me
And their words are just whispers and lies
That I'll never believe
And I want a moment to be real
Wanna touch things I don't feel
We want to hold on and feel I belong
And how can they say I'll never change
They're the ones that stay the same
I'm the one now
Cause I'm still here
I'm the one
Cause I'm still here
I'm still here
I'm still here

During this song, I actually had the thought of looking up the movie, and it seems really interesting!
It is! It's so good, you'll love it 😊
It's, honestly, one of the great masterpieces of disney.

Jim was my Disney crush when I was a little girl this song is bringing back some nostalgic memories makes me feel old
this song makes me cry everytime just listening to the words, and thinking about it in Jim's perspective. Such an underrated movie and one of my favorites
this was really beautiful, my friend loves treasure planet so she is loosing her mind
There were plans for a sequel, but Disney gave everything involving this movie a hard no. Such a shame.
When are you going to do *"Poor Unfortunate Souls"* .?
This is how many people who would appreciate Anna covering it!
👇
Not that many I see lol

I’ve been hearing that this movie is good and underrated and after this I think I’ll watch it.
Dewit.
How what it?
Jessica Able I loved it. Jim (the main character) is so cool and I fell in love with him a little bit 😂
Having never seen Treasure Island, this sounds strangely like a break up song.
@@venuscastrovia5024 you hit the nail right on the head. The movie is so good
@@venuscastrovia5024 You totally nailed with your comment
It kinda does lmao
It’s one of best underrated Disney movies
I had goosebumps the entire time I was listening to this. It's been well over 10 years since I last saw Treasure Planet, but damn does it still have an impact today.
Not tearing up, not one or two tears either, am actually crying. Feels like younger me watched this a life ago, but the impact it had on me lasts to this day, love you anna, love this song too.

Some people just genuinely don't like the same things as you or me. I remember trying to share a song with my sister and she was said, "It isn't bad but I just don't like the song." There is no one thing that everyone likes. Plus, some people enjoy disliking a video for the sake of it even if they don't hate the content.
Once again, Anna has hit me with a kind of nostalgia that I never thought I would experience. Thank you for taking my back to the better days.
If I were wearing a hat, I'd say "Hat's off to you" but I'm not, so I'll just say "You're gonna rattle the stars you are."
I wonder if you'll ever see this comment? I hope you do and that it touches your heart.
