It's amazing how often the mower you are working on is the same mower I am working on. Same cable too. Mine didn't have the fancy chrome tape though.

I bought a toro front drive like the tin foil. Choke stuck open air filter and cover missing. Pull top cover remove Choke spring off top of muffler lever turned to other side. Bolt it on Choke fixed. New $14 air cleaner assembly from Amazon. Now sharpen blade lube drive and wheels, clean done.

It’s terrible dry here and decks last 40 years but engines are completely worn out 😢
