- This video shows how I paint realistic ocean water with oil paint. This painting took approximately 2-3 hours in real time. This video shows every step I took. I'm painting wet-on-wet (or all prima) on a wood panel. I demonstrate how to use a dry brush to blend details.

Hi Taylor!! I am using acrylics for sea scape but they don't merge at all.Should i use oil paints? Your art is so detailed and beautiful 😍❤
You can achieve this with acrylics. You could try using a slow dry medium made for acrylic paint or water your paints down and work in thinner layers.
@@taylorwilliamsstudio Thankyou taylor!
Thank you for sharing your experience 🌷
You are great
It is so beautiful video!!
thank you so much!
Beautiful painting! Can you show us your reference photo?
Nice 💙😑
If you use a dry brush to blend wont it get too much colour on it after a while? Would you have to use a new dry brush then or can you use the same brush throughout painting?
Hey there! Yes after awhile the the dry brush won't be dry anymore. You can brush it on a lint free rag or paper towel to try to keep it dry, but after awhile I switch brushes.
