I’ve searched and searched for a tutorial on painting the kind of waves you show here. I couldn’t find any that were even in the same universe as yours here. You are amazing! I can feel the movement and weight of the water. Thank you!!
Nice to watch your videos again. I do believe you are a perfect person for instruction videos. Ty for creating the videos for us! I rate you and the video a 10+
A really fantastic painting, thanks for showing your colour mixing, very helpful! Thanks also for slowing up the video when you were doing the foam, it's helpful to see how you achieve the realistic effect. Great!! :)
Such a fabulous vid. Thank you. Try as i might to paint waves and water, i just cant do it! Your style of work is breathtaking and i would love to paint like this
love oil paint for blending have to use gloves etc cause if i get the stuff on me i dont feel good so was going to try using acrylic 1st then finish the thing in oil not done it yet tho-thanks for the video love it and painting looks amazing
FINALLY !!!! An Artist who can show me how to paint a wave !!! Hardest thing I've tried to learn. I greatly appreciate you my man!! Thank you so kindly from Nashville Tennessee!!!!
Hi, I just use a very thin oil paint, usually an ochre mixed with what left on my palette at the time. Just very thin with solvent so it is fast drying 🎨😊
Thanks. I'm just using a 9mm Birch plywood. I gesso 3 times and give it an oil stain. I leave a hint of brushstrokes on there to give me a little tooth to paint onto. So it's only a very light sand between coats of gesso. This was a larger board so it is braced on the back, the smaller boards I dont brace but I gesso front and back. I do like the board to paint on
