Your Mitsumi Hellvica keyboard is a very, very early one...Literally one of the first Hellvica keyboards off of the line. It really is a "Franken-keyboard". It has the failure prone rubber cups of the Eurostile keyboard, and the Early PET Keyboard Notoriously horrible Futaba/Mitsumi PET Shift-Lock Key switch. Personally, Since it's a Hellvica font keyboard, and not a Eurostile Font or Early PET Keyboard, I would remove and dump the keyboard and use it for parts for a Eurostile and PET keyboard which use the same internals as the keyboard you have and swap it out for the later Die-hard reliable Mitsumi Hellvica (2nd Gen) Keyboard found in 2 million VICs and 17 Million C64's...which also have the later Die-hard Shift-Lock Key switches too which never fail. Tony K. ;)
I would be interested in watching the c64 printer repair video. I hope it goes well. Thanks.
