Apple would have said it's irreparable and the customer needs to buy a new device or they would replace the motherboard and charge the customer 2/3 the price of the product.
But remember, it's only because they care for their customers 😊

Also macbook SSDs failing in droves are the result of their 8GB=16gb "genius design"; that is what happens if you lean heavily on your ssd to make up for the lack of RAM.

One thing I always had concerns about was the scale of the components becoming so Small, that _'Usually'_ innocuous things such as 'Dust', Insects and other small 'Particles' can become Huge issues over time, depending on how cooling & ventilation is done. I've always held Apple in high regard for their standards but it reached a point where Scale can work adversely

Mac laptops have gone down hill fast. “Rotten Apple Don’t Care” took three weeks to replace keyboard. Parts were shipped from the U.S. and got lost by FEDEX. Apple would not send another keyboard until shipment “confirmed” lost. Sonoma is a work in process with major issues. Try to down load and it keeps freezing up. They do not care any more. Call Apple Care and they are never truthful. You get the “Sargent Schultz” response …. I see nothing …. I hear nothing!😂

Always positioning voltage rails at the edges where humidity is most likely... you know what, I think I'll start coating all my electronics with waterproof resin or epoxy. If the manufacturer is too lazy (cheap) to do it, so be it.

I must say, it is an awesome IOs, but lets be honest, it became a pain in the ass with that hardware design. I still have my macbook white from 2009, Im still using it fully upgraded(it is slow but works great) even with some compatibility issues, NEVER DIED NEVEEER. Now with a 2018 a1989, died and was suffering from slow actions....cant use macbooks no more.

They didn't get rich giving refunds. First rule. Once you have their money, never give it back.
