When Asami (vocalist) once spoke with the director of the anime "VLAD LOVE," she said that she considers her singing voice to be part of the instrumentation, and that her priority is to get people to like the song itself before the message is conveyed. She also said that she can look up the lyrics later if she becomes more interested in the song. In fact, there are many words and expressions in Japanese that do not exist in other languages, and it is very difficult to convey delicate nuances. Still, since they grew up listening to foreign metal bands, they seem to feel uncomfortable with Japanese lyrics, so they insist on English lyrics.

It's always a joy to watch musicians React to Lovebites. M&M are great guitarists, but what really shines are their individual creative solo compositions. Dude, my favorite group of all time is Led Zeppelin. I have been listening to them religiously since around 1975. I still don't know what Plant is singing in some of the songs. The cadence or "feel" and rhythm of what they are singing are generally way more important in this style of music. Yeah, Bruce Springsteen, the lyrics are super important. Metal music, not so much.
I am no Led Zeppelin fan, but I am a Metalhead nevertheless 😉, and (with a literature education in my background) I have the opinion, that in the core of Metal, it is about the _feelings_ , the _emotions_ the musicians want to express and to get across, and only in _second_ place it is about the lyrics - if at all. A perfect example for me is "Thunderstruck" (AC/DC), that totally pierces my emotions, and I am "in it" as soon as I hear it. I play air instruments, and I am besides me. But I also read the lyrics, and they are "not for me". 😁😉 Or take "Empire of the clouds" (Iron Maiden), which has an amazing text full of meaning and depth, but Bruce (composer) and the band had a hard time to arrange the _music_ - which is not for everyone.
@@jawosammadennhier7062 "I am no Led Zeppelin fan'" Sacrilege! LOL. Weird, I never got into metal music back in the day. Not exactly sure why either. The closets I got was Dio and even with him I only dabbled some. I was already into Van Halen and ACDC by the time Zeppelin broke up, but I was more a Bon Scott fan than Brian Johnson. And Van Halen lost me when Eddie decided he would rather play "below average" key boards over best in the world guitar. So after the the "For those about to rock album, and the coming of Sammy Hagar, I drifted away from them towards more main stream rock. Like Def Leopard. the 80's pretty much sucked for music for me. Only when I heard Metalica's Black album then Megadeath' Symphony of Destruction not long after that, did I start listening to heavier stuff.
You know they have been around since 2016 and never been here (USA)…Why? I think one reason is their songs are to long for air play and finding a band that would want to go on after they open, (they are a hard act to follow) I guess Dragonforce is the only one.I think they are the best band that nobody has heard of. It’s a shame they have the whole package…lights, sound, drums, guitar, let there be Heavy Metal!!!!!!
Did you notice that Asami jumped off the platform with her skinny heels without breaking her ankles at the end of two hour show.

LOVEBITES - Holy War lyrics:
Look at those black clouds, it’s going to rain blood
People live in fear, covered in mud
Singing oh Gloria to change the prophecy
We are the metal warriors
Fighting the darkness for sisters
There is a thousand, a thousand of evils
Hush, do not wake up Satan’s devils
Singing Hallelujah to save our majesty
We are the metal warriors
Fighting the darkness for brothers
Shining blade and burning heart
Into the Gates of Hell we march
Immortal soul, let there be light
Into the Eye of Heaven
Eagles at a holy war
Fly higher than the sun
We are one for all and all for one forevermore
SOLO: midori
Kingdom of Heaven, never shall we fall
Reincarnation, wait for your call
Singing oh, Gloria to change the prophecy
We are the metal warriors
Fighting the darkness for sisters
Morning star and dying moon
Into the Gates of Hell we march
Mighty soul, let there be hope
Into the Eye of Heaven
Eagles at a holy war
Fly higher than the sun
Stand up in the name of the God of heavy metal
What do we live for? What do we fight for, tonight?
But the world is beautiful, worth fighting for
Only have one thing on our mind
Facing the fate, holy war
SOLO: miyako / midori / both
Singing Hallelujah to save our majesty
We are the metal warriors
Fighting the darkness for brothers
Shining blade and burning heart
Into the Gates of Hell we march
Immortal soul, let there be light
Into the Eye of Heaven
Eagles at a holy war
Fly higher than the sun
We are one for all and all for one forevermore
What do we live for? What do we fight for, tonight?
But the world is beautiful, worth fighting for

Or take "Empire of the clouds" (Iron Maiden), which has an amazing text full of meaning and depth, but Bruce (composer) and the band had a hard time to arrange the _music_ - which is not for everyone.
