I would maybe add DI'ing out of techchases so that you slide-off and grab the ledge. Also a cool thing n0ne does a lot to get back on stage is ledgedash into CC, which works in tandem with the slide-off (really good against Marth who tries to zone Falcon out a lot when he's at the edge but who can also be CC'd for a long time).
The only reason im not wishlisting it is bc i dont want someone to buy it for me, i am gonna buy it myself. i havent even touched the demo, i trust your game design skills since you have good taste in games :)
none's techchasing isnt just guessing, it's baiting by using positioning or small actions, making them think he reads something else, or just conditioning
I think he was being tongue n cheek with that "just guessing" comment. The psychological aspect of n0ne's techasing style is way harder to boil down in rapid bullet points for the video. On this topic, I feel like every Falcon (including myself) that don't commit to including reactions in their techasing thinks they are going the n0ne road while getting 50% success rate.
Kind of related to the slow falling aerials but.... I think scooping up-air at higher percents is soooo good for either edge guarding or setting up into other aerials

On another note, spacing Falcon aerials, particularly stomp and nair, with a “circular” motion of the stick seems to work really well. Like, if I want to stomp forward (let’s just say I’m facing left, for examples sake), I’d jump, input left/stomp at the same time, roll the stick over the top to the right, and then bring it down for a late fastfall. Works incredibly well with the fade back stomp/nair as well.
At the soft knee point you would have commented on how efficient it is vs the sideB of space animals. I assure you, many go for the side b to the edge but the knee can cover that area very well either with the strong knee or as I mentioned the soft knee can connect and make a uair. Also something that I have seen do a lot (especially Wizzrobe) is do side or down throw, drop down and return with nair to the stage there the nair hits and makes edgeguard with the stomps.
Can confirm, slow fall aerials are OP. Actually in 2015, I stopped fast falling all of my Falcon aerials for a time and then went back to the super cracked instant fastfall (Hax Falcon was my idol lol) and got noticeably worse results instantly.
@@mechad00dle I assume he means instant short hop upair. it's pretty strict timing but if done fast enough, it can hit almost all standing characters. And it also happens to be one of falcon's better options out of shield.
@@roseworthy exactly. It's pretty not good if you screw up the timing, but you can instantly upair out of shield and actually hit while you're still moving upwards. I don't think it combos into knee right away, but you can chain more upairs and probably get them offstage. It's pretty unique to S2J for some reason; At least he's the one who uses it most
@@mechad00dle btw if you didn't know, what some commentators call "scoop up air" is when your opponent misses a tech and you do a late up air that scoops them up from the ground to start/continue a combo. Also good to practice

I feel like it's a bit clickbaity. I'm not even a good Falcon and I do most of these. Especially the "I don't see other Falcons going for the edge cancelled upB"... bro, I never saw a Falcon NOT going for it lol. But whatever, if it takes a little clickbait to educate the melee masses, I'm all for it!
Man, these are good tips. I see Falcon's use about 7/10 all the time though. But maybe it's because I came up in Falcon country (close to Kansas City). Everyone had a decent pocket falcon due to playing with Darkrain and Bobby Frizz all the time lol You could throw a rock at a tourney and hit a falcon player (complaining about falcon) every time lol
Im sorry, this is just kinda bugging me. for the small animation of the character chunlee-kicking. the animation starts out really nice, just winding up with a pause and immediacy starting (although the animation starts way too suddenly, 1-2 keyframes of her starting to wind up would be nice). It's when she ends the multi kicks that its noticeable. i get why the ending animation is a reverse (ya know, commissioning someone takes more money) but she kind of looks like a robot powering down. a person would just put their kicks down not continue to be on guard and then put their foot down
@@SSBMTutorials I would expect any character, I really just have trouble with it fundamentally. I'm doing the Uncle Punch training mod, Combo Training. After a down grab, I fail to close the gap till which the ai airdodges away. I play as Falcon, still new at the game.
