I found out if it the 750S is worth the jump over the standard McLaren 720S, and, how it feels compared to the McLaren 765LT Spider. The big question is... should you buy it over a Ferrari 296 GTB or GTS?

We met at the reveal party in Miami, Austin... at the time, I had a Mauvine Blue 600LT. I met the factory reps at The Cube in Orlando the next week. My MSO 750S is on order...a coupe with vents, roll bar, engine window, and a host of other options including a full velocity fade Mauvine Blue to Casino Black paint scheme. Delivery... maybe next month. Thanks for all your informative videos, especially your build session... that one was the catalyst for mine. Happy New Year to you and all my fellow McLaren-philes.

Speed Phenom Absolutely incredible Review I think that McLaren 750s Spider is Absolutely Gorgeous and Incredible especially because it has features from 765LTs and Arturas and I definitely think 750s's are better than 296 GTBs because have TT V8s

Hopefully for the 800LT they put 265/35r19 on 9.5 and 325/30r20 on 12's, making more track focused like a Porsche than Ferrari.
750s is significantly better than 296 and Revuelto. Those cars are heavy hybrids and way too digital. McLaren is intentionally creating a more connected experience. If you like driving dynamics buy McLaren. If you like horsepower bragging buy Ferrari and Lamborghini
You are wrong my guy. Hybridization is just perfect for sports cars… and weight nowadays thanks to damper technology and many other things isn’t a problem at all….
Built quality of mclarens is horrendous
Also your fan boy is showing because if you really only cared about “dynamics” then you would skip the McLaren all together and get a top 10 road legal NBR track car, 992 GT3 or GT3 RS.
Everything is fine apart from build quality
Weight is ALWAYS a thing to avoid! One feels the „fat“ always and every time when taking corners and when breaking! It also brings additional wear and tear - and not only on the brakes. The McLaren-way is the ABSOLUTE correct way! Thx
But u can't beat Ferrari 296gtb it's too fast

I'm sold. Was debating on 2024 911 GT3, but I this checks all of the boxes for me.
I wish the 296 wasn’t hybrid… but I’d take it over the 750S. I find the 296 much more aesthetically appealing, and it sounds better imo (‘piccolo’ V12), and it’s faster. That said, the 750S is impressive in all respects. Well done McLaren 👏🏽
Well I think in roll races they gonna be equal as the power to weight ratio is almost same. I would say these two will be equally matched with the 1001hp lambo because thats quite heavy 😂
Millionaires can find a way to delete the hybrid system and get twin turbos added and giant rear wing and everything it's a good base platform but needs to be redone into its gt3 variant just gotta find the right shop and 300k cash to drop them

As a 650s owner this car is very tempting but I don't like the front facia and the thought of ppl asking me if it is a 720s gives me nightmares 😂
It completely blows my mind how well the gt500 and z06 compete with these cars on a track. Take the gt500 and spend 5k in hp upgrades and you have a supercar killer!
What on earth are you talking about? The GT500 is nowhere near this car. A clapped out foxbody with a swap and turbos would be quicker than both in a straight line but that completely misses the point of driving dynamics and everything else

McLaren is consistently fast and ez to drive compared to other supercars on all road courses in the world. Other supercars either understeer or have snappy oversteer not buying a McLaren but buying something else is always risking bad handling attributes
consistently fast yes, easy to drive not sure I completely agree with that. The P1 and the 765LT do not have a reputation of being easy to drive. But yes the steering is second to none
@@larssonk22 p1 is easier to drive than the 765 the 765 is too light spins tires 2 much with all aids off its the only dangerous McLaren the rest r better. As long as you get wider rims n tires for 750 it should be more of a 720 than a 765lt driveability wise we'll see soon
@@larssonk22 p1 is pretty good as long as you have tires that aren't more than 2 years old and are Michelin cup 2 tires. P1 might get bad reputation for handling due to 7 year old worn out cheap tires
@SpeedPhenom and what does the "S" mean in 750S? :) If LT means Long Tail, S has to mean something as well, right? :)
It means "Series" :) it is the 750PS Series McLaren!
@@SpeedPhenom Thanks! 3 years I wondered about that :D BTW in my opinion this is the best 750S review I saw yet. You are mentioning details that not many people care about. Nice too see your big progress since you are getting more into motorsport and exploring details that really matter for lap times and enjoyment. I am expecting delivery of 750S coupe similar to your spec in january. I had 720S for 3 years and it was really great track and road car. Only thing Im a bit disapponted is so narrow tires they use. Did you ask McLaren why they dont use at least a bit wider front tires? 7XX could really use a bit more tires on the road. Good luck!

Mclaren is doing what Ferrari did with 488gtb/Pista/F8 but they cant sell theyr car how ferrari did bc ferrari know how too sell theyr cars bc they did with sf90 if you want to buy the top ferrari tou need also to buy the f8 and that tactic raise the F8 sales but mclaren cant do that with 750s and they wont be too much sales bc its exacly like 720s

Beautiful car, but ugly rims. Mclaren made a smart move and bought the rights to the M838T and M840T engines . They bought the rights from Tom Walkinshaw Racing R390 GT1 Le Mans car project ( Back then it was called the VRH35) Then they gave it to British specialist engineer, "Ricardo" who turned the racing spec VRH35 into a street version of the M838T. Reminds me of bill gates and microsoft when Bill Gates paid Tim Patterson $75,000 for QDOS, which was actually a clone of Kildall's CP/M. Cant stand Bill but smart move and look what MS became. Mclaren did pretty much the same thing , smart move.
