Great video!! Love the bugouts!
I always wanted an orange aluminum handled Benchmade 940 Osborne with an Orange blade like they have on their hunting knife collection.
I love how light the Bugout is with that glass-thermo composite. My EDC already has a Shield 9 + spare mag, flashlight, phone, wallet keys, AirPods, Pom OC spray, and dog treats. It’s really nice to have an ultra lightweight knife that won’t strain my belt even more, without sacrificing build quality.
Love your reasoning
Holy hell no way im carrying all that everyday.. oh wait.. i carry my Ruger lc9.. phone… emerson hammerhead, so not that far off lol. Ok lets make a badass man purse! Not a fanny pack!!😂
i got a m4 and aftermarket aluminum scales and ill never get rid of it
If they'd put in a backspacer from the beginning it'd be great for the balance in the knife. I couldn't stand my BK2 until then, WITH, the Bugout is a great knife, the Ranger green is in danger 😏😏👍👍
Must be a slow knife news day.
Love knifes
Remember they won't say anything bad even if it's true for something they sell 😂 but I love bugouts
The Bugout in my pocket is the best Bugout in the world.
I beg to differ. Mine was previously owned by Jon Voight...The actor not the dentist.
wish they would make a mesa red version in the full size, or just take the cerakote off some of the other color. Cerakote is a big L, not food safe, and wears easily.
Bugout CF-Elite or Spyderco Para 3 Lightweight?
Both great
Cf elite is a more traditional shape blade. My choice
But spyderco does have better blade steel options so if you really into blade steel then go with spyderco
My opinion, the cf elite is the best edc knife ever made. I carry it over my CRK Sebenza
Just a personal opinion
@@neillevy4087 I ended up ordering pm2 and para 3 lightweight and returned the lightweight since the pm2 fit my hand better. Then ended up changing the scales and clip 🥴
Pm2 is a cliche for good reason, terrific knife
I think the cf elite bugout is so appealing to me because it’s so light and unnoticeable in my pocket that i know i’ll always carry it every day, no matter what I’m wearing or doing
It took me buying 12 knives to figure out what was important to me
Different strokes for folks
Enjoy your pm2!
@@neillevy4087 you as well 🤙🏼
The bugout is a very nice well made knife the only problem is they called it a bugout. If I bugout I'm not grabbing the bugout lol
The Bugout is a light duty hikers knife. A full-size Bugout is pointless as it doesn’t have the structural integrity necessary for that size of knife. However, the Mini-Bugout is perfect for backpackers like myself. Less than 2 ounces is the goal.
I have both and if you throw some flytanium and the full size it feels way tougher and is still incredibly light
@@wyatttuff9945 Sure enough. But I am not a real collector. I have about 20 or so. For backpacking the mini bug out is fine but even the miniature Swiss Army knife is somewhat better cause I find myself using the scissors and toothpick, sometimes the tweezers (tics) more than the blade. But I also carry a silky pocket boy folding saw, lol. Hence “firestarter.“
It’s a lot of money for a plastic knife
Crazy price for this plastic knife with breaking spring issues. Hard pass.
None
To dang small. Never want minis. Recon 1 is minimal edc size with great ergonomics, material, lock, 4" clip point for $100 new. Unbeatable for cost.
not everyone wants to carry around a folding sword in their pocket as an EDC.
3.5 max blade length while concealed in my state even with a ccw. While im not a stickler for obeying all stupid laws, I also don't want the drama at this point when it could cause an issue over an extra half inch. I also have memories of the most outlandish marketing ever by cold steel when they launched and for that reason I can't take them seriously. I'd courage anyone unfamiliar to search TH-cam for old cold steel adverts.
The best bug out is a shootout

Mine is the best of the rest
