Hello Misha, this is Hana, thank you so much for such a memorable experience, I was not scared nor worried for my life one bit, you are an amazing driver and I really felt safe with you, just a little uncomfortable with the 3D shaking 🫨, it was tough, gave me stomachs concussion 😂😂, but other than that I really enjoyed it. Looking forward to do it again actually, saying “show me you got” was a big mistake that I won’t do again 😂.

I guess you're right, from the start she had to support her helmet because her neck-muscles obviously couldn't handle it, that must have been a ride through hell for her. she clearly didn't expect that at all.
@@bosroamer Yup, coming out of Foxhole on the second lap, she says she's exhausted, but she's still having fun! She's great.
She didnt anticipate the braking points. So her head went violently forwards. That will upset your balance and stomach

Well it is a GT3 car but the way it comes out of the corners is just something else.
just an insane car
it did look different from other more road cars. it's not shifting weight much to turn, and doesn't have soft suspension like other cars driven on the channel. it transitions between corners very well.
This is why we aspire to own one
That was a hell of a lot for a first timer. The added Gs she took from that helmet with heat and duration was more than she was ever expecting.
I'm a terrible passenger but when you can't control the weight of the helmet it must be extremely exhausting. She is a real trooper for sure.
I think it was more so it didn't fit correctly so she had to hold it in place. I'm sure the weight didn't help any either.

@@gbormann71 im sure it probably helps, but when im the driver i have no problem staying planted but as a passenger i usually struggle lol. something about knowing exactly what the cars gonna do helps you prepare i guess
the steering wheel helps brace you in, and knowing what the car is gonna do as its happening.
@@Scotty-vs4lfalso the driver gets to hold the steering wheel for bracing.
the seat looks fairly large. she could probably do with a smaller aftermarket seat if she was gonna drive herself. but yeah, as the driver, holding the steering wheel does help a lot too.
From the rough math I can do, fusing the tail end of the first lap and the rest of the second lap up until right after the second carousel, you would've done a rough lap of 7:36.8. Which is psychotic with traffic and a passenger in a "street car". Insane drive, Misha!

@@miker.6421 I'm not living in the 80's sir. Alfas still have poor reliability today.
Many people do not realize that you really need quite a bit of stamina a core development to drive such a car at this level AND to be a passenger in such a car. So to put a thin lady in that seat, strap a large helmet on her head and then drive at the car's and tires capabilities is quite a thing! That was an awesome drive Misha, and congrats to Hana did very well actually and offered us the opportunity to see Misha driving two awesome laps in an amazing car!
Just the helmet was about to rip her head off in the corners, even as a passenger you need a bit of neck muscles, I personally don't enjoy speed like I used too, and I used to jump with parachutes, but I went with my daughter on a ride in a fun park we were rattled around and put upside down and slingshot side-wards and all, in the end I wasn't enjoying it all too much.
Nowadays I enjoy sailing on my own, especially since the lock downs, and it's easier to get sick on a boat than on a car, with cars I got lucky a couple of times, it's also knowing when it's time to slow down and look a t the scenery. I enjoy watching those rides though Misha is a good pilot.
Misha's quick actions to help lady were on point! How he pulled up and got off track, harneses released in a blink of an eye.
BTW, 911 ability to slowdown from 100 to complete stop in like 3 seconds in just mindblowing!
I was just going to comment on the exact same thing. I have a stock 911 but one of my favourite things when playing is how fast it can stop. I can imagine what this is like with fully warmed up Cup 2 R’s.

The brembo derived brakes are why I fitted something very similar that I call "poorsche" brakes to my Focus ST.
It's absolutely overkill and my car stops on a dime, especially with wider tyres and wheels that give more grip
Relatively speaking, I think that maneuver was the fastest of everything he did, and he hit 280kph!

Epic laps Misha! That was some serious driving. She was a trooper the whole way. Her helmet looked to be too heavy for her. She was getting tossed around a bit. Thanks for taking us with!🎉

@@ChrisB_Channel Pretty sure he actually does it for free, because he gets money from the TH-cam videos. So if you have a cool car, you bring it to misha and he drives it and you’ll be a passenger in your own car while he drives, and he gets money from the video

I went 4 laps in a retired GT cup car at Watkins Glen as a passenger. Much more physically taxing than driving imo. The heat, smells, noise is hard to explain.

Can we us appreciate how quick that car came to a complete stop and how quick Misha got her air and unbuckled. Even better that your teammate was there and him and the other noticed something wrong (obviously) and rushed in to help.

Thats a hell of a way to experience the 'ring for the first time! Is 291 a channel record? I'm sure thats the highest speed I've seen while I've been here.
I did 300 with my Grandma on the straight, others driven me harder in GT2 RS MR, but 291 into the compression by myself is a first

Had to rewatch lap 2 that was insanely fast. Poor lady was flopping around like a gold fish props to her for last nearly all the way. I love Porsche but seeing this makes me love it that much more.

I felt so sorry for her at 13:13 she went from sheer relief at making it through a full lap to sheer horror at the thought of doing another 😬 too polite to stop Misha or even ask him to slow down 😢

This car is amazing. The grip is incredible and the engine is a masterpiece. Its sound is one of my favourites. Nothing electric can be so emotive.

That was one of the fastest and cleanest laps Misha ever did.
I watched it from start to finish without skipping a single second.
The car wants you to go faster and faster and the grip is exceptional so was Misha´s performance.

I think this video also highlights why a helmet without a HANS might actually be MORE dangerous. These G forces are only a fraction of what a person would experience in a crash but just shows what extra weight does to your head/neck. Epic lap, those cup 2 Rs are insane

The lady had real balls. Misha that was brilliant driving! The perfect laps.The car is fabulous. I must say it proves why the Porche Gt3 Rs does amazing times round the ring along with Gt2 and Amg Gt Black etc. No other cars can touch them apart from some expensive Italian ones!

Poor woman, she deeefinitely didn't get the help tightening those seatbelts that she needed. She was flying around in the seat like a sock in a tumbler. And to top it off she had the regular seatbelt as well probably putting quite the pressure on her throat every now and then. The fact she was fine for as long as she was is incredible! What a trooper!
I'm pretty sure I'd want a bag with me if I ever got to ride with Misha 😅

This happens because you are not holding the steering wheel and your brain cannot predict the timing of the movements either.

In the passenger-seat, on a track you don't know, jumping around in the seat like this, no race-experience, at the limit of what the car can do - XD it's completely all right. She lasted longer than I would've in the same circumstances.
After 2 laps karting I feel my stomach also. I can imagine how you felt with that amount of speed and shaking around. Huge respect my lady.

I always get sick in the passenger seat, when "racing". Not sure what I can do to improve on it. It's very annoying
While there is not much you can do once you start feeling sick other than taking it easy and calling it a day, here are some things that helped me and my weak stomach to prevent the onset of motion sickness:
- Be properly hydrated (but don't chug a liter of water right before!)
- Make sure to get enough sleep the night before
- Don't go on a completely full or empty stomach - have a light meal 2h before
- Strap in tight and put on a helmet with snug fit
- Look far ahead outside, never look down or focus on something in the car
- Avoid head movements while cornering
- Anticipate braking and hard cornering with maintaining core pressure
- Chew some mint gum
- If the car has AC, adjust air vents so that air is blowing onto your face
- If you're not driving yourself, you can take dramamine 2h before - prevents nausea but makes you sleepy/drowsy (ginger pills are a natural alternative, however not as effective)
- If you think you'll get sick, you probably will - it's a self fulfilling prophecy, try to enjoy the experience and not focus on the nausea

Exactly my thoughts. Helmet didn´t fit really good, thats why it moved into her face and she had to hold it and the seat belts needed to be adjusted. Mostly during your drive. Maybe she was not familiar with the system
