I like Dodge trucks so I like the front. I like Fords, so I like the cheap display better than say a custom binnacle like a Porsche or even a Supra has.

This M2 seems awesome. I love this body style, the color, and the sound of that engine matched to the exhaust. Looks ike it handles good at high speeds too. Almost 300kph 180mph and just cruising. I would love to drive that on a track. Let it do what it was built for.
Had an F87 M2 Comp.. switched over to the G87 M2. Once I learned to live with it.. I don't want to go back(feels outdated). For track use It makes viewing your gauges much easier.

M3/M4 if you need the back seat, space, more options to pick out, Xdrive. M2 is basically a bare bones M3/M4.. I prefer the exterior, size and nimbleness of the M2.. plus I saved a shit load of money.
1:06 the laser lights don't exist as such anymore in BMW's current pallet. BMW switched to a more conventional matrix led setup for most cars and laser diodes are only used in the new 4 series
Looks like a rocket, drives like one, crazy car! The only thing, BMW could have done better with the stock exhaust sound, it's not bad, but could have been better.
I saw my first M2 G87 in real life today. It was as visually dissappoing as on pictures and in videos. I bet it drives great and good for all those who like it. For me it seems as their design team never was less inspired than when creating this car. Well, great video as always from AutoTopNL...wish BMW held your guys's high standard of quality.

I actually like the car. Some details are not very good to me, like the "frameless" grill and the excess of squareness on the bumpers...but the overall stance is great.
I saw a video where a M240i xDrive did beat a M2 on the 1/4 mile. The grip level of the M2 is very good for a RWD car but impressive to see how the M240i with 374 HP vs the 460 of the M2 won this race even on dry conditions. So when you think M2 or M4 don't forget the M240i XDrive. Is a bargain compared to the other two ;)
i really wanna see a Chinese car Zeekr 001 FR on your channel, its an electric car which has 1265 hp and 0-100 2.07s. however, i think there is no ability to buy it in your country, but i think it would be interesting to see such car on the autobahn because i don’t believe that this car can be faster than really German cars
If this car was €80-90k new I would think about it.. But I simply refuse to pay €50k extra tax buying a car like this in the Netherlands, making the overal price over €130k, which is just ridiculous for a 2-series BMW..
In the US you can pick one up for $70k USD and pay no more than a ~10% ($7k) tax if you live in a high % rate state or county. In some states in the US, there is only $500 USD tax on a new car . Crazy what you pay for over there and how much you are taxed! I will never complain about my 5% tax again! - With love from USA

Worst I've ever seen was the Kia Stinger GT, that had over 200% tax, inflating the price from €37k to well over €100k, just nuts.. You can get a lot of healthcare for that money, even in the USA..

Ambulance ride $2k for a few miles. Your car purchase is a want not a need and the taxes to pay for all those services need to come from somewhere.
I have to admit: Hated the pictures, but I dig this car in real life - especially in black. I really do. Still very disappointed with this huge weight tag. I know it does use the M3/4‘s chassis, but come on BMW, take an effort! It‘s surprisingly quick because of modern tech, especially the dreamy S58. Just imagine what it could do with 250-300 kilos less? Greetings from a light weight fan. :)

I have a question about the autobahn, are there any recorded accidents with any wildlife crossing the road, and if no how do they cope with this problem..do they maybe put fences in each side so the animals don't cross? Thanks
Deer is generally a thing in Germany, but it does heavily depend on the region. They mostly keep them away with fences or even deer bridges, so they can cross safely. Accidents with deer involved happen, but it‘s not a biggie. Most heavy accidents on the Autobahn are weather related and often involve trucks.
Could have M4 2WD for the same price as M2 and I'm not sure which one should I go with. The M4 looks way more better with some exterior tweakes but it's a also quite huge.... And I see alot ot them is selling atm, not sure why. Also, that noise over 200+ is wind? I heard it in your first M2 video aswell.
Are you comparing a brand new Base M2 vs a brand new base M3/4.. cause there is a decent price gap. I picked out all the important options aside from the carbon buckets on my G87 M2.. premium package, carbon roof, carbon interior and shadow line headlights.. I still was a few thousand less than a base M3/4.

I bought the G87 M2 cause I was getting a new car rather than used.. nothing beats a new car smell. Besides that.. I didn't need the extra space and could care less for the luxury options. I also prefer the size of the M2.

@@xTeWai Interior are basically the same, things the M3/4 has the M2 don't have available are the Merino leather, more paint/wheel/interior choices, 360 camera, laser lights, vented seats, Xdrive, .. I'm sure there are other little things, but those seem to be the key options the M2 doesn't have available. I've driven the M3 on the track but not on the streets(they feel literally almost the same).. I would assume the M3/4 would give you a slightly better ride quality because of its longer wheelbase?
I think what makes the car bounce is the sucktion. Either suspension cant handle it or the venturi effect stops working. Either way just like the old f1 cars. Very satisfying to know that it uses max downforce.
If we stay under 10 cylinders I really think the 5 cylinder engine is undervalued. Sure there's compromises to figure out but I love it and admire Audi for making it
I just can't stand the front of the M2, in fact all the new BMW's fronts look like shit. Audi is so ahead of design it's not even a competition anymore.

1:07 BMW does offer two options for headlights. The one here is the standard one and then there's a "Shadow line" option as well.

This car surprised me by how big it is in person, basically in the same ballpark as a Mustang or a Camaro

M240i is 0.5 slower at least on 1/4mile maybe M2 had bad start or m240i was tuned.
No m2 is faster 1/4 mile. Only reason the 240i is even close is because its awd. In a rolling race m2 smokes it by a wide margin
