Imagine a Madam Mim boss, she could keep changing form forcing you to keep changing how you fight her. Each Disney world could even have their own secret boss, some could even be from other Disney worlds (e.g. Captain Hook could show up in the Caribbean (to get away from Peter Pan) or Oogie Boogie could make a reappearance in Monstropolis, etc.)

lol he's easily beatable without any balloon spells. Do double jump with Riku and use firaga burst immediately after. Julius will do his jumping attack, but since he won't be able to hit you up that high, he will land on one of the buildings while getting wrecked by your fireballs :D As for Sora, block and counter his attacks. If you're high lvl and wanna play risky you can try Ars Arcanum/Sonic Blade.
I used no Balloon spells and beat him with Sora and Riku. I played on standard mode though, and the only reason I never used Balloonra or Balloonga was because I never thought they were useful.
Ballon spell line is pretty broken in any version of DDD. Osaka Team don't know how to proper balance things. Also, a friend of mine say that if you don't use Ballon on DDD, you pretty much handicapping yourself.
This was probably the easiest Ultima Weapon method ever, not that I'm complaining. Kinda wish he was a story boss though. Seems kinda pointless to have the best keyblade in the series after you beat it.
Almost every game has an ultimate weapon you could get towards the end of the game. Why get an ultimate weapon so early it would be to easy to beat the game with it.

Just don't make it so it's only obtainable beyond the point of being useful in practice, rendering it just a trophy for completionists. Case in point, you actually can't even fight Julius without beating the Dream Drop Distance main story first, and he's the toughest opponent in the game. To get the Ultima Weapon in KH2, you basically need to visit every single world, clear multiple side-quests, find certain treasure chests and do a lot of farming. However, it's perfectly possible to get it and still have worthwhile things to do, like beating the final boss, fighting Sephiroth, etc, if you're willing to put the effort in. Plus, the keyblades only make a relatively small difference compared to your level and other gear, and the harder fights are still up to strategy and having a good handle on the combat system. The Ultima Weapon isn't even that "ultimate" as there tends to be keyblades with equal or higher stats in strength or magic that are easier to get, but it's the strongest one where strength and magic are balanced.

Julius is a character created by a mad scientist in the Mickey Mouse short 'Runaway Brain' he merely looks like Pete because....he merely looks like Pete.
I remember my friend stumbling across this boss by mistake on the PS4 version and spending an entire night trying to beat it, before getting the killing blow just minutes before sunrise.
This boss scared the ever loving crap outta me the first time I encountered him. Not only was he this giant Frankenstein's monster that I was forced to fight, but I also had to fight him without my Dream Eaters. I eventually beat him, but that first experience... wew.

Fire is one of the better spells in KH. In Kh1 gravity made proud mode much easier too and nobody thinks about that spell. But late game heartless become way more threatening than a single boss...
Seeing as sora went back to traverse town post game, it seems like this fight should have only been ok his side, and they should have had something else for Riku to fight

This is WAY more interesting than the secret boss fight we got in KH3 without DLC. I wouldn’t even mind if Disney refuses to allow franchises like Star Wars or Marvel having their own worlds, but allows us to fight characters like Darth Vader or Doctor Doom as secret boss characters...

Julius had some mad moves! That onsalught of punches; I love how he punches his fists together and poses right after like he's "about to tell you somethin' BRUTHER"! That electrical power up is a pain but MAN he's that made him one of my top favorite Secret Bosses! That lock-on camera is a pain to work with.
This fight was actually easier for me as Riku, I remember it only took me a week to beat him with Riku. Sora on the other hand....it took me a whole month. At first with my first time fighting him, I legit thought he was Pete turned into a monster till I looked up where he was from.
never have i seen a boss so cheese-able. i managed to beat him on hard by ACTUALLY MANAGING TO HIT THE GUY WITH PHYSICAL ATTACKS... the only magic i was ever to pull off against him was my cure attacks.. and then to go online seeing people spam a magic called "balloonra".. made me feel my extra hard work was for nothing... that guy took a week to beat with actual physical attacks.

So normally....KH secret bosses almost always make their way into the main story....but this one hasn't yet. I was almost positive that he would be in three, but after playing ReMind....I almost forgot he existed and happened upon this video.....I guess he'll have more of a role once they explain Pete and Malificent's.
I remember my brother asking me if Julius was in KH when we finished KH1 together. I had just finished Re:Coded, so I said no. The second this dude popped on screen a few days later I got crazy.
One thing that really annoyed about DDD was the fact that you get the ultima weapon AFTER beating the Game not too mention this was also a fight that you had use magic I usually prefer Combat over magic but this was ridiculous I've only seen like 2 people beat hime without using magic So basically this fight was kinda pointless. That wht KH2 was by far the best KH game out there
For a Disney boss he is exceptionally difficult I poured a lot of game hours into my fights levels so that when I faced him I was at least level 80-85 and I had plenty of abilities to help me and theirs really no shame in using "spamming" ballonra/ga beating him is a massive achievement all it's own.

In my opinion this was the scariest secret boss, I wish I knew that balloon was so broken earlier on

So normally....KH secret bosses almost always make their way into the main story....but this one hasn't yet. I was almost positive that he would be in three, but after playing ReMind....I almost forgot he existed and happened upon this video.....I guess he'll have more of a role once they explain Pete and Malificent's.

I remember my brother asking me if Julius was in KH when we finished KH1 together.
I had just finished Re:Coded, so I said no.
The second this dude popped on screen a few days later I got crazy.
I never knew balloon was so op until years after I beat this game and after watching boss fight videos lol i never even used that spell. Oh well

This made me think Pete and Julius were actually two different characters.
I remember when I first fought this boss I was scared and kept running. Idk why but I was scared lmao
One thing that really annoyed about DDD was the fact that you get the ultima weapon AFTER beating the Game not too mention this was also a fight that you had use magic I usually prefer Combat over magic but this was ridiculous I've only seen like 2 people beat hime without using magic
So basically this fight was kinda pointless. That wht KH2 was by far the best KH game out there
For a Disney boss he is exceptionally difficult I poured a lot of game hours into my fights levels so that when I faced him I was at least level 80-85 and I had plenty of abilities to help me and theirs really no shame in using "spamming" ballonra/ga beating him is a massive achievement all it's own.
