I've just got hold of a Viking 555 Pro for buttons! It just needed a new carb and setting up properly, I'm now having trouble letting it go as it's so dam good!
Float was definitely upside down, so the fiddle fairy's have definitely been working on that the little tinkers 🧚♂️, really good video Mick 👍 well done to you both on the weight loss, I've lost 3 stone since November 15th 2023

I had one like that recently on a tiller where the float was upside down. He got that one together and pinned the needle inside the sleeve so no gas was coming in

Had a fuel leak on my carb at the weekend, float needle was in place but don't think it was working correctly, gave the carb a strip and clean and works like a dream now. I have learnt so much from your videos, I am now confident enough to do my own repairs so thank you
Nice mower which cost a lot of money new. You have to wonder why they messed with it. Mever seen the needle in the Bowl before. Nice repair Mick.

Nice fix Mick glad to hear that your all ok can I pick Ur brain in a strimmer not starting only if you put fuel down plug but then stops it does prim get lot of drips out exhaust if and when running I TUC can apart my first time seems clean not sure on diaphragm seem hard not sure put it bk together and nothing I can only find one section carb Packman thingy...
Hmm fuel out the exhaust.. what's the piston like ? Have you done a compression test on it ?
@@themowerman seems hard to pull have had it running but will check compression
Leaking gas can be costly I've been there did that on the craftsman Lt mower that I made a pull tractor but a leaky carburetor 😮😮

Somebody was mucking about in the carb. Those needles don't fall out on their own.
