Great job! The only time I dont spray the engine bay to clean is when someone with agarage queen Challenger Demon or something fun with alluminum components exposed. The collectors / owners are very very very picky with those cars! The way you showed is still the more effective way though. No pressure near PCM, TCM modules and youre good! If you ever get one of those picky customers , rinseless is all Id do without getting the engine block or alluminium wet for long.

I thought after watching the first part, shouldn't you swill off under the bonnet (hood) first so it does not drip all over your nice clean engine? then lo and behold the second part you did, so well done, very entertaining and informative especially about protecting certain parts.

You could use a steamer to rinse off instead of water, a lot less water and since it is hot, it loosens grease and dirt much better. Great video!!!

a Yaris 2018 hatchback model is considered as a modern vehicle? xD i have that one :v and have always wanted to clean the engine, but I dont want to mess it up XD
If you don’t feel comfortable with it, a towel with rinseless or soapy water should do the job as well! 2018 should be fine, but I would still be careful of the sensitive areas I mentioned in the video. Thanks for watching!

Speaking as Paranoid Patti, I have a spray bottle of rinseless, microfibers, and brushes. After I just pray it starts. Watching those who do this is awesome but I freak out inside. Good job.
