With the rumored return of the B2 Battle Droid in 2024, there’s an implication of fixed tall droid legs that comes with them.
I know Lego probably won’t make it, but now that the snapping legs have supposedly been fixed, what would you think of a Droid Specialist Battle Pack that includes 2 Commando Droids, 2 Magnaguards, and the build being a mini J-1 Proton Cannon as seen in the Clone Wars?
UCS Falcon update: Replace old Han with Lando, replace Finn with Luke, replace Rey with Nien Nunb, dual-mold C-3PO and replace BB-8 with 360-printed R2-D2.
Ask MandR: It feels like we've been seeing fewer and fewer Separatist sets. Would you like to see more Separatist themed sets and which ones? It'd be cool to see a playscale Octuparra Tri Droid or a battle diorama like Umbara. Personally I'd love to see a Munificent or Lucrehulk in the new midi scale!

I really like your ideas for a UCS Falcon remake. One extra thing I think could be cool would be to include a brick-built stand with the extra pieces they'd save from the Sequel stuff. Something like Effermans vertical stand MOC but in black. It doesn't NEED it, but it'd be nice to display it at that slanted action angle like they did in the LEGO stores
Also the 2017 falcon doesn't have much of an interior
For an $850 (or more by 2027) UCS set they should not remove the sequel stuff. Keep the sequel minifigs and add more and the extra 50 piece radar dish is basically nothing for a set that size. Can’t imagine why people wouldnt want that in a set that size

AskMandR: I noticed the new glass display case in the back. It looks really good! Reminds me of that picture from the Visual dictionary with all the unreleased prototype sets. Not sure if that’s what you were going for but you should try to re create all those builds and get them in your case.

Just picked up a large industrial muscle rack that’s 24 inches deep. Fits my UCS razor crest no problem. Planning on doing a fully enclosed display with lights, good budget build idea for the bigger sets.

Like the updated UCS Falcon idea. They could focus on New Hope or even Return of The Jedi with a figure swap. Though the Falcon was a centerpiece in The Empire Strikes Back, so it’d be hard not to include that film as well. So many possibilities. In terms of interior, I easily modified mine, without changing the structure, there is actually plenty of space within, it’s just about reconfiguring the exterior panels to be removable for access. Like they did for The Death Star, just a nip / tuck and figure update and they can get old / new buyers to fork over $1K with limited effort on their part.
BTW: While the color would be off, it’d be really cool if they added the ‘Escape Pod’ from SOLO: A Star Wars Story and gave options to switch out the guns / radar dish. That provides more figure possibilities, but I prefer seeing Lando from Jedi.
Ask Mandr: have you ever wondered about changed out the rex and Cody helmets into a regular trooper, and also, if you worked in lego, what is one thing you would change apart from helmet holes on clones?

A big reason I like the UCS AT-AT more than the falcon is because of the lack of interior; I would love more space inside and at least some hallways which it is lacking right now.
Will you ever review the second Avatar The Last Airbender set (Air temple)? Also, here is an idea. You know how Lego Ideas does not allow certain properties? Better call Saul and Breaking Bad are among those, and also ones that I perhaps want the most in Lego form. Now, I do not know if you knew about this, but there is actually an animated tv show based around adventures of very young Saul called Slippin Jimmy, and that show has the same tv rating as something like Stranger Things. My question is, if somebody made a project for Lego Ideas based around this show, would they allow it to progress to Gathering Support phase? I mean, that show was terribly reviewed, but it would still be amazing to get something from BB/BCS universe into Lego form.

If the UCS falcon is re-newed it will be a Return of the Jedi version which will probably have the usual crew and a crew consisting of Lando , Nien Nunb and the rest of the rebel crew from the attack on the second Death Star . The first release was from Star Wars ( a new hope ) the current release is The Empire Strikes Back so it makes sense .

I always liked the white and blue Millennium Falcon from Solo but I never got the set when it was out. Do you think this Falcon will ever be remade without the gaps in the build as a play set? Or maybe even a USC version?

AskMandR, in your recent review of buildable Chewbacca you talked about the instruction book printing and how dark it was when coupled with the various shades of brown in the build. How often do you use the printed instructions vs the new 3D instructions offered by the lego building app? I recently built the AT-TE and having the ability to rotate the model on certain steps was a game changer.

I feel like it's about time we get another star destroyer set, what do you think the likelihood of Lego making Thrawn's star destroyer with the white markings as the big set for next summer is? Obviously it would include Thrawn and Ezra but maybe a Sabine or Palpatine from rebels season 4 and a buildable Purgil.

What pieces of tech would you suggest for someone new to selling on whatnot to make things easier?
Ask MandR: what do you think of my idea? I thought that for buying 18+ sets online, you could get them printed or have stickers at the cost of a little extra money. Better yet, If you buy the set in store maybe, you can exchange pieces for printed ones, or something like that.
Ask Mandr: I really miss Lego releasing builds for things that weren’t in the movies or tv shows, like the Droid Tie Fighter from the 10131 Tie Collection, the 8087 Tie Defender, or classic rebel and stormtrooper battle packs from 2008. Some were based on the old expanded universe and some were Lego originals, but they really made the Star Wars universe feel larger in scope by including vehicles that we wouldn’t have necessarily seen before, but still seemed to fit the Lego Star Wars ascetic. Do you think Lego will do these types of more original designs again or are they too busy with all the new shows
