Ask MandR What would you think if they did a stretch of around 6 months of just droid-based sets. For instance, over that period we'd get an MTT, new droid gunship, droid battle packs, tri-fighters, vulture droids, snail tank, etc, and a lot of characters we haven't seen in a while like tactical droids, commando and super battle droids, and members of the trade federation?
Ask Mandr: I have $600 and a lot of space in my dorm at college, but I don't know whether I should buy 30 of the new Ahsoka's 332nd trooper battle pack or buy the UCS Republic Gunship as it will probably retire soon and I would have more money to spend at my local LEGO Convention, also love the content, keep up the great work.

Ask MandR:Would you do a comparison between 75348 Mandalorian Fang Fighter vs Tie Interceptor and 75364 New Republic E-wing vs Shin Hati's Starfighter? Despite the 10$ price difference, both sets are actually fairly similar.

The poly bag thing could just be another thing being phased out. They very well could have the materials for poly bags either purchased or under contract for a period of time preventing them from making the change. Large scale manufacturing has weird quirks.
Ask mnr: when will you do a clone army update, do you think it’s necessary to take all the time and effort to scan instructions, what does mandr mean and what’s your favorite set of all time (you don’t need to own it) sry for all the questions:)

Ask MandR: Did you even consider building a wall in your house out of lego? I saw once a really cool idea- someone put the boxed sets of some more rare star wars sets from 20+ years ago (ucs tie interceptor for example) along with little holes in the wall to display rare minifigs. That just seemed like a perfect idea if you want to change the stuff on display- just rebuild the wall, make more holes for sets/boxes/minifigs + you can always decorate it with little MOC builds here and there.

Ask MandR: I will be moving soon, and have a lot of large Lego sets such as The Daily Bugle, BatCave Box, Batwing, and many Batmobiles. What is the best way to move these with little to no rebuilding or is the best way to take apart and rebuild?
Ask MandR: Are there any unique pieces you have set aside either for preference or their rarity? I've got a pile with most notably, a magnet from set 6195 I have yet to use in a MOC like I plan.
AskMandR: Given the choice, would you rather have a poorly-proportioned Lego SW vehicle with perfectly smooth studless paneling with every piece printed with the exact colour-matched texture of the ship's parts and greebles from the media, or would you rather have a well-proportioned, chunky+horribly studded vehicle packed with as many and more manual/automated/semi-automated play features than there exists functions on the canonical vessel?
I am in the camp that swings WAY further towards the latter.

I followed your buying guide for the Marvel CMF series 1 by buying the larger 6-packs and weighing the box. I got 1 of each different weight of 6-packs and got all 12 CMFs from 2 6-packs. Do 6-packs still work like this for Marvel CMF 2?

How to expose minifigures without cracks?
Hi Ryan, can you please do a comparison video between the three Vs sets (Advanced-AWing, Fang Fighter-Interceptor & EWing-Sith Fighter).
Do you think that minifigures will reach the point where they can’t be improved? Other than clone troopers, will most minifigures become similar to the c3po from (the great) UCS Luke’s land speeders, in other words, practically perfect?
There's no need to worry about that, cause minifigure quality will be downgraded as soon as they reach the best they can do!
Ask MandR: Do you think that Lego will ever remake divisions like the 327th Star Corps clones, since the only ones we ever got were the OG phase 2 clones, or potentially make other divisions for the first time, like Doom Legion, or the 21st Nova Corps (Galactic Marines), or the 442nd Siege Battalion

ASK MANDR: can you tell me why certain pieces on rare minifigures are more common than others? For example the 2002 green goblin helmet is only worth about $5 and eBay sellers have a ton while the torso, and head to that figure are worth around $50

ASKMANDR: do you know the reasoning behind the packaging of the building steps? They either 1. Come in big plastic bags with barely any pieces 2. Have plastic bags within plastic bags or 3. Try to bloat the building step numbers so it make a set seem like it will take longer to build. The UCS Razorcrest for instance having a single bag for each step making the building stage # extremely high? Also curios why they couldn’t condense the steps or bags to “save the environment”

AskMandR: to my understanding, lego does not count cloth accessories as pieces on official piece counts (rebels storm trooper officer poly bag has an official count of 5, but including the cloth Pauldron it has 6) do they count accessory packs like the visors and range finders, and why does cloth not count as a piece?

AskMandR: how would you recommend getting into collecting? I love Lego and if I could get everything, I would, but it’s all so expensive!
What’s more important, the sets or the minifigs? I just got a 7163 gunship from bricklink, and I got a great Jedi Bob and blue pearl B-2’s, but the gunship was missing pieces and stickers (expensive). I feel like there’s so much emphasis on the figs, but I’m kinda bummed out about the set itself.
Askmandr: So a new store just opened in my town that sells high quality stuff for very cheap. Including some Lego. They have 200$ sets like the captain America shield and the spider man mural thing for half off and a bunch of yavin IVs for half off too. The prices even go down later in the week so I could get them for 50$ or less.
1. Should I try to profit off them by reselling them? (Keep in mind it would have to be online bc we don’t have any bricks and minifigs
or anything like it in the area.)
2. If so, how should I go about it?

Ask MandR: I have $150 worth of LEGO VIP (now insider?) points, and Im struggling to decide what to do with them, I am above all a LOTR fan, so if a large scale Barad-dur set is coming out I think the money would be good to have for that, however the CW was my childhood and I don't have a AT-TE or Gunship yet, what should I do? How long will Barad-Dur be on shelves, how long before another AT-TE or Gunship is made, are all variables Ive considered but dont know what weight to give to each one.

Ask m and r, I was wondering why the newest Luke’s tie fighter and yodas Jedi star fighter are only 10 dollars apart in price at Walmart when it looks like from outside the box, that the tie fighter contains more pieces. Yodas star fighter looks smaller by some margin. Just curious if you have seen this too
