What happened to the Hoth moc
Man has a $400 Florida electric bill
I grew up in a 2200 ft² house with a full basement (unfinished) on two and a half acres and it was so sweet. The front yard on the other side of the driveway in front of the house sloped down and that was my playground, but it was also kind of wild with weeds and bumblebees. That's the same area where, when we moved in, it had a bird bath that was so ugly and it got struck by lightning a few years later. I remember hearing that lightning strike right in the front yard.
I've heard that the lowest interest rate for a home loan isn't always the best. I heard that on the radio and I listen to the am radio stations an awful lot.😂
Are you gonna be there?
At this point there are rumors that the ones that tried separating Chewbacca from Ryan didn’t make it out alive😂
Chewbacca is official cohost now
@@timoconnor2618host*
Ryan may not have liked the building experience, but I can see the chemistry between them now
The fact that Chewbacca looks like a FNAF animatronic, makes me believe that those poor souls will never be found
Ask Mandr: What are the most needed remakes for 2024/2025 in your opinion? Mainly what would you like to see happen the most
MTT
Arc 170
Republic Frigate from Phantom Menace
Droid gunship from episode 1, or jango fett's starship...
P. S. Darth Vader's tie fighter, resistance battle pack, another et-wock village lego set
New UCS DV Tie. New UCS B-Wing. New UCS Naboo Starfighter (Episode 1)….
Ask mandr : In your recent battlepack review, you stated that the arc trooper was one of your favorite clones lego had made. What is your least favorite clone?
Love your vids, keep up the good work.
It can’t be any of the ones with bad helmet holes, just the ones prior to thay
@@GeneralPenguinIsCool yeah that’s why I said he can’t pick those ones as they are too obvious
I should've made it clearer, but I meant the ones prior to the helmet holes
Personally this will be a hot take but the Bomb Squad clones and the Gunner from the 2008 clone walker battlepack. Bomb squad clones aren’t badly designed and look great in small numbers in a 212th MOC but they aren’t at all good for army building. Same reason for the clone gunner. Yes it’s well designed but when it comes down to it wouldn’t that set have been better if that clone gunner was one more regular clone. Yes there are worse clones out there in my opinion but I think that super specialized clones generally in battle packs is not ideal. Especially if it’s some utility or pilot clone such as the gunner and bomb squad.
@@ICECAPPEDSKYThe gunner works in battle pack because you see them a lot in TCW, but I completely agree about the bomb squad troopers.
As a former packaging engineer, it’s definitely a corporate push to eliminate all plastics from their products. The paper bags you’re showing in the video are most likely lined with som kinda plastic on the inside or some type of polymer coating to seal the bag. There are different alternatives that involve different kinds of starches but they really effect the type of artwork you can put on the bag and the seal strength of the bag. That’s probably why they went with a box option for the mystery packs.
since 2019 airlines made 5000+ empty flights, and you are telling us a tiny liner in a paper bag is the problem...what a joke
@@aoetje474obviously not gonna make a huge difference in that comparison but it's still a difference. Everyone needs to make changes, just because big companies aren't doesn't mean "oh, if they aren't and they're making the biggest problem then why should I". Sounds a bit childish no?

Yes the daily uploads keep coming!!! Keep it up Ryan, and I really enjoy watching your content man!
Ask Mandr: Do you think that Lego is purposefully making sets not as good as they can be, so they can still have improvements to make in future iterations? Or is it out of pure laziness? Love the consistent uploads.
That reminds me of Soviet 5 Year Plans... where people running factories would start out doing absolutely nothing, then every 5 years improve just enough to be given even more resources and cash.
@@HisCarlnessIholy shit the 5 year plan is such a great analogy
@@cdntrooper3078 That said I don't think that's actually what's happening here. That would be weird to do in product development.
He’s probably gonna say 212th bc of head print and helmet holes
@@HisCarlnessI true its not like Lego is trying to kick start a communist nation’s economy after a civil war
My Oddball dream set would be Asajj Ventress' Fanblade Starfighter from The Clone Wars. You could include a new Ventress minifig in her Nightsister outfit, with Mother Talzin and another Nightsister as extra figures. 🤞
I think the CMF boxes are a good move. Not siding with LEGO, but I feel that you would actually have the chance to get a minifigure that everybody wanted, instead of a fresh box being "feel" then with the figures all bought, listed on ebay or whatnot at x3 the price and the store is left with the unwanted ones not selling, which was a big problem because the store wouldnt want to bring more stock in. (I am still able to find the disney series 2 in store and they are mostly duplicates as usual with the popular ones missing).
Loved feeling the Minifigure series bags as a child to try find the one or few minifigures I really wanted or to prevent myself from getting many of a bad one. It was always an amazing experience to feel a piece and knowing what you've got but also not knowing 100% until you opened it and found out if you were right or not, truely a shame taking this away with the new boxes for them
CMF going from bags to boxes has massively increased the amount of ripped open boxes and scattered figures in my local walmart. Some kid opened ALL of the boxes. This never happened with bags.
As for the CMF boxes: you can still guarantee a certain minifig will be in a certain box if you get to them early enough. There are certain sites which list the exact arrangement of the boxes in the tray as it's the same every time
with the CMFs, the game is in exchanging them with your friends when you don't get the ones you have
There are also companies selling the complete set. I paid 25 cents more per mini fig plus shipping.
@@jayschulz5313 that's for people with no friends 🤣
I've said this for a while but I really want Lego to make a TIE Punisher. First they should make a new TIE Defender and Vader's TIE Fighter, but after that, I REALLY want them to make one. Such a big and beefy ship, I love it. Perhaps you could make a MOC video by combining multiple TIE bombers, since the two are very similar.
@@GeneralPenguinIsCool The TIE Bomber and TIE Punisher are very similar to each other, look up a picture of the TIE Punisher
@@GeneralPenguinIsCool nah it's good
As a legends fan i have to agree, if they make more of those there would be alot of potential TIE fighter variant sets they could make. Im really hoping for a TIE crawler remake myself, the original is good imo but the colouring is inaccurate nowadays
AskMandR: when do you think is the right time for the next playset imperial star destroyer? The last one came out in 2014, and for how iconic the ship is I feel like it might be a little overdue.
He didn't even heart your comment, jeez thats rough
Ask MandR: Do you think Lego will eventually make/remake old republic sets? What are some that you would want them to make? I personally would love a remake of Malgus’ ship or Revan’s leviathan
Ask M&r: now that cmfs are in boxes, do you think LEGO will miraculously work out their singular Star Wars minifigure problem with hasbro?
Do you mean boxes?
@@ForestElfLego yeah that’s what I meant.
Of course.
Why would boxes magically fix that?
That's why I loved to put together the Ghost! Love the multi colored tiles! Thanks Ryan.
I can add to the answer at 12:27 about what Lego does to unsold sets. I used to work at a lego store and whatever unsold sets that “outlived their lifespan” were thrown out. Usually once a year around September we were given a scrap list from corporate and we were forced to dump those selected sets in the dumpster.
Ask MandR: In your opinion what Lego Star Wars set needs a remake?
Ask MandR: How do you feel about the Solo wave going the extra mile and making 3 new unique helmet molds for troopers appearing in one set (Range, Patrol, Mimban Trooper) but not doing the same for clones like Rex and Vaughn?
those were for current sets that had a movie tie-in, and Vaughn and rex haven't appeared in Star Wars media in years.

Ask MandR: do you think the prices of instructions will go up considering the new Lego insiders scheme ? Also keep up the great vids :)
Honestly, I doubt it. It is 15 cents per set (and optional, technically, anyways*), they don't need to make us pay $5 extra per set or anything. Also, I think they have other reasons to do this, for example, they can see what sets someone has been buying, and maybe offer better set recommendations on their website. Or maybe they want to see who is finding ways around the set limit. (You can only buy a limited number of some sets)
*Not everyone will know about this and do this
EDIT: Sorry, I misunderstood. I thought you were asking if LEGO would increase their set prices, which I was saying that, no, I don't think they will. But will the value of instructions sold separately from the sets go up? Yeah, probably. Maybe not by a large amount, but I bet they will.
no because they'd be spending more on the instructions than they'd be getting in vip points (15 cents).
For the cmfs there is a unique serial number for each character on the bottom of each box and some people have made charts for what character is what number. At least there is still some hope.
It varies from box to box though. Because it's to do with production times/locations it varies between boxes so there's no definitive code for which figure is which.
Ask MandR: Cowboys winning Super Bowl this year.
My walmart used to have the glass and they recently just removed it. I was honestly surprised to see it gone
What do you mean? The gunship size is average, even massive I would say. We can compare sizes maybe
AskmandR: what’s the best battlepack for getting alot of named characters, like the bounty hunter battlepack is bad for army building but you can get 4 named characters for cheap
Ask MandR: do you think lego Star Wars will bring back mbs sets? I feel like an Ewok village would sell like crazy and be an amazing build with great mini figs. Love the content btw
Ask Mandr: If Lego were to make another buildable figure like the Chewbacca set, who would you want it to be of?
I feel like we need a C-3PO to go with R2, but they'd never do that much pearl gold.
Han Solo would be perfect
Ask mandr: if lego would make a star wars cmf series, what figs would you Pick?
Ask MandR: what are your opinions on the castaway game flamethrower trooper and updated 41st scout trooper? I personally hope they don’t update the scout as the imperial scout mold is very inaccurate. I don’t really see many people talk about them. Could either show up in a set anytime soon?
Such an underrated game.
Ask MandR: do you think LEGO releases some of their products early in some places to build hype for them?(for example the marvel CMF)
Fortunately I am from the UK where they have the magazines with the polybag/mini figs. Are these expected to come to the US/Canada? Enjoy the content - keep it up :)
They had like 6 years to do it so I doubt it
I know the “extra” pieces don’t count towards the piece count, but do accessories that come in packs all add to it? Like the clone rangefinders and visors in the 332nd battle pack that you only use one of?
Ask MandR: what do you think is the most complicated set you’ve ever built. Love the vids
For those cmfs I only want the moonknight fig, I’m about to just bring a bright flashlight and test it out and see if I can shine it through enough to see what’s inside lol
Kid already has a plan for that. I’ve got a high intensity, bike light we’re gonna use. We’re gonna shake all of it into one corner and try not to open it up and shine the light into the other corner and see if we can’t see a hairpiece or a torso.
Hey Ryan love your vids man keep up the Great work!!
One of my local stores here in New Zealand has made being able to purchase lego at the self serve station much harder, the employee must scan their tag after EACH item, so buying 5 minifig bags would mean 5 swipes.
I'm trying to hang up some ships for my display and I tried to use fishing line and packing tape but that didn't work. Any suggestions?
Ask MandR: do you think we will ever get more rogue one sets? If so what do you think they would be? Also nice job on the upload streak!
Just like with a 2nd chance at Rebels sets coming in Ahsoka, the most likely situation would be getting Rouge One sets that tie into S2 of Andor, like a new U-Wing.
Love the natural light in your new place!
Ask MandR: I just bought the daily bugle but the box is pretty damaged. I usually keep my boxes after building the set but I don’t know if I should this time. What do you suggest I do?
Hi Ryan, all of the other 3 in 1 packs had boxes of the same thickness, do you think these mechs will be stacked front and back rather than side by side like the last few years?
Ask MandR: what do you think is the best lego building experience in a set. In other words what is your favorite sets to build
Ask Mandr: What's your favorite Lego Star Wars Sequel Trilogy set?
Didn't he make a video about top 10 sequel trilogy sets?
@@coraldiamond1922a very long time ago, yes
The Walmart in North Vancouver, BC, Canada, which is supposed to be a nice suburb, has a half the Lego behind glass, and a bunch of the rest of it has antitheft tags strapped to the boxes.
Not a nice shopping experience.
Ask MandR: What are your top 3 favourite years for LEGO Star Wars? Thanks!
Another great video Ryan. For my suggestion for "weird stuff", yes yes, Twin Pod Cloud Car. It's been to long since the original and with all the new techniques and pieces it would look amazing.
I noticed while building the first order tie with lego instructions online that in the wings they use different pieces than shown in my sets instruction manual. Do u know why this is? Do I have an older or newer version? Idk
Ask MandR: How do you store your random minifigs? I mean you have the baseplates and whatnot for your army building, but what do you do with the random figs that aren't worth much? Kind of a weird question, but I thought it was interesting. Love the content, your reviews are very helpful when I'm deciding whether or not to buy a set! 🙂
AskMandr: I’ve recently started building a clone army and as of right now I only have the 2020 style of clones, do you think I should go back and get sets like the At-Ap or just stick with the newer style of sets?
Love the content and hope to be in the next video👍
Ask MandR: I heard you never got the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. I was lucky, getting it for Christmas from my Grandparents back in 2006. It is one of the *EXTREME* few that is still in one piece. And seeing that a LEGO Concorde is coming out, I am truly psyched. But my question is this: if there were any other historical vehicles or machines that you wanted to see, what would they be? (Ex: I would like to see more historic trains - particularly steam locomotives as I am a railfan).
With the CMF boxes, just open the box, look inside, and close the box. Bring tape if you want to reseal it
I'm trying to design a loft bed and want it to have storage/shelving in it for lego sets. What brand of display cases/stands should I get? (On a budget) and should I get cases or stands for the sets?
AskMnR: what are your thoughts on the Lego avatar line? (I just finished collecting the line and I personally think it’s great every set has a display stand and it’s 80-90% accurate to the source material and it also gives images from the movie to show the builder what they are building versus the source material which is pretty cool but I do want your opinion on it)
AskMandR: do you think that, just with the UCS AT-TE and the snowtrooper battle pack, the 332nd battle pack was made to fill the UCS Venator with minifigures?
Can you maybe do an updated Version of the Legp Star Wars EOL? (If there are some new ones)
Hey Mandr 👋: I am going to college this year and will be in a dorm. What sets out now do you think would be the best for a desk?
Do you think they’ll do another Jango Slave 1 because I really want one and it would make a fine addition to my collection. The other one looks a bit weird to me.
What place do you recommend going for clone army building or imperial army building.
Ask MandR: I've heard that the UCS Gunship is already on its way out, do you know where (or even if) I could find it on sale to get it for lower than retail before it retires?
Ask Mandr: Do you think with the new marvel series 2 cmf you can just open it and see what’s inside and then close it without it looking like it was opened.
That defeats the purpose of them being RNG. You wouldn't open all the basket ball packs in a store looking for Kevin Durrant, would you? If you want a specific character, buy them on the secondary market.
@@Gzilla313exactly. I totally missed the marvel series one line because all the nerds in my area so if I see stuff I’m gonna buy it and if I don’t get the characters I want I just wait a little bit and then they’ll be on eBay or Facebook group pages .
I got lucky with the Disney sets. I happen to go to a Kohl’s store when they put a fresh box out and grab like 15 of them and just ran up my Kohl’s credit card. The ones I didn’t find I just got a little bit later.
Can you put the AT-TE and New Gunship next to each other for size comparison.
LEGO switching to boxes is very stupid, however my local lego store employees said they plan on still trying to number the boxes and have a little cheat sheet (they had them for the bags and it was amazing.) I don’t know if anyone else can relate?
Ask MandR- if lego made a starwars cmf, would you buy them? Personally i would even if there were boxes but I would like to know your opinion.
Ask Mandr: I was able to pick up an ARC Trooper battle pack for £30 GBP at a small Lego convention last November. I've been holding onto it to sell but it's such a great set. Does the possible sale price outweigh the enjoyability of the set? If so, should I open it?
Ask MandR: What era of Lego instruction manuals do you think is the worst in terms of ease of understanding? The earlier 70s/80s/90s sets had multiple steps in one and were hard to follow at times, but some of the Creator Expert instructions from the late 2000s and early 2010s had really poor printing quality. A good example is the Emerald Night, where a lot of the darker-colored bricks are near impossible to see.
Sadly I have to deal with that as well and all the Walmarts in my city are like that. Even in low theft areas. I also hate that the series I want the most is going to be the first one in the boxes
I am trying to decide if I want the atte or the inqouster sythe transport since they are the two best Star Wars sets available which would you recomend
Askmandr: why is everyone okay with the death trooper coming in a battle pack but not the senate commandos as both were covenant figures? Love your channel and keep it up
Is it better to sell sets new in box or better financially to sell parts separate from minifigs and remove the box? Knowing it might take longer and have more shipping costs but could get a higher price?
Ask Mandr: I am currently saving up for a big ucs set and i have my eyes on either the AT-AT or star destroyer. Which one would you rather choose if you could buy one right now (without taking into concederation things like space for the model etc.) or maybe i should wait for the venator? Also which one of these would go best on display next to UCS millenium falcon?
Re: CMFs , I’m 50-50 on the new CMF lines being in boxes. Oh my kids and I do enjoy the blind box aspect of it. I don’t want to seven Wolverines.
When they did the Disney set, I happen to walk into a Kohl’s that had a fresh case and I was able to get the whole set just by grabbing 10 of them. I think I missed one. I didn’t even have to feel most of them to get them.
But with this, it’s gonna be interesting. I think I’ll buy a few here and there and just buy them online later on.
Mega construx prints codes on their blind bags so you can just look up the code and see what figure is in it. Let’s people find the ones they want and is less of a headache then just feeling around and getting doubles.
My Walmart put all the LEGO behind glass too
0:12 I’ve been to my Walmart that has the glass case years ago.
It's funny you mention bringing a scale to Target. My partner and I went hunting for non-Lego blind boxes because she wanted many of one specific uncommon character and it was trial and error, taking weight averages, and a lot of disappointment. Never again.
How do you clean your Lego sets?? Love the vids
When will you make more custom figures? Love your channel and keep up the great work!
All the Walmarts around me have glass with Lego behind it too
Lego in glass in Vegas. And now they have digital tags. Harder to spot clearance tags.

Just wanted to say thanks for your hook up with BasicMan, now loving his channel so more proof that Lego is not just for kids👍
AskMandR: do you know of a way to register sets with the new Insiders program when the QR code wont scan?
Ask MandR: do you think would ever consider releasing individual dinosaur figure sets for their Jurassic Park/World line? I honestly would love to see that especially if it’s done in the style of the original Kenner boxes with figures such as TLW Buck Rex, the JPIII Spinosaurus, the JW-FK/Dominion Demon Carnotaurus, the tiger stripped male Velociraptors from TLW, etc.
I work at an Australian retailer that stocks LEGO behind glass cabinets, if you ask we let you feel around and grab LEGO and just put it through the register for you rather than just giving you blind bags
The live stream yesterday was fun:)
Ask mandr: hey Ryan I have seen you have 1/6 scaled action figures behind your reviews, such as your 501rst hot toys figure, how many do you have and which ones are your favorites?
Ask mandr: what are some scenes you would like to see for some prequel / clone wars diorama sets??
The gunship is a good size imo, it doesn’t look like it’s too big next to the figs, also in Australia it’s $20 more than the at te :(
Ask Mandr: We need a U wing remake! Or a Y wing, do you agree that 2016-2018 was the best period for building a rebel fleet?
I have always loved technic and I think it's the only thing that has been able to truly develop my engineering mindset, now when I get technic sets, I finish them fairly quickly compared to most
