sylheti bangladeshis are a mix of ethnic assamese, ethnic bengalis, and turkic persians/arabs due to the mughal empire, the nawabs of bengal, and shahjalal conquering sylhet. that’s why certain sylhetis look more southeast/east asian because they have more assamese/manipuri in them, whereas some look more arab/central asian because they have turkic persian mughal empire ancestry in them. in addition, some look more dark and almost dravidian (south indian/sri lankan) because they have more ethnic bengali in them. so sylhet is very diverse, we are all one by being bangladeshis, but we are ethnically different as explained.

First of all, You look great in Saree👌🏻. 2ndly, Why you brits always call yourselfs ‘Bengali’? When you are a Sylhety. You can call yourself Bangladeshi not Bengali. The people of sylhet are not Bengali. We have our own letters and language that is Sylhety(Syloti). Even in the past we would not marry non-sylheties. Our culture and values doesn’t match with bengalis Pls study some history about your ethnicity!
We have a 6thousand year old history. Sylhet region is comprised of Karimganj, Barak Vally(India) and the division of Sylhet(Bangladesh). Our region got together with bangladesh in 1947 through voting. Until then we were not a part pf Bengal. Period
Thank you -and I addressed this on my Instagram not too long ago. I’m aware that we’re technically Bangladeshi but Brits do go by Bengali out of habit. When we say Bengali we know that we’re referring to Bangladeshi and it’s just about us trying harder to use the word Bangladeshi more often to be more accurate
You think these monkee white washed will have clue about history? 😂
nice sharee
Thank you 🙏🏽💗
good work
You're a funny Ukhti❗😁
Haha thank you, glad you enjoyed 🩷

Sister, these DNA test are for people who are born from illegitimate births or from orphanages so why are you taking your test. Well paying to find out that you are Bangladeshi when your family has told you their legit lol?
Before you use the word South Asian sister, if you are Sylheti then there are chances that you'll have a unknown White relative because my grandfather told me that allot of Sylheti men who came to the UK back then had White wives secretly due to religion and family hate towards colonialism and he also told me he almost got battered by his family back then for almost getting married to a White woman like most Sylheti men during 1930s.
I also found allot of the stuff he told me were true and there's a book on it. it's called Lascars by Shahida Rahman.
This isn’t Jeremy Kyle lol. The book you mentioned sounds interesting
@@GoodLuckNabs Haha, I hope you guys meet up in future, now you know you have a long lost relative. Lol
Wheres the Yemeni blood😅
You have a nice long face. You could be a high end fashion model.
Some what like caucasoid skull i have also a long face some makes fun of me due to my sharp nose, long face with deep set eyes.but girls prefer it better most in bengali has round or somewhat flat faces i noticed near nepal or burma.but moving towards north yu get long faces(narrow noses) with huge body hairs like me.what a diversity god has made.
Please tell us about ur neanderthal percentage and neanderthal traits please. I am from Bangladesh, just want to know dna of neanderthal presents in bangladeshi population
very high percentage neanderthal dna found in Bangladeshi gene.
@@someamazingselectedvideosf7707 how much high?
@@someamazingselectedvideosf7707 how much high compare to Europeans or East asians?
@@Sunvee1000 I read an article in the daily star news paper in bd where it stated during the covid 19 incident that Bangladeshis have the highest percentage of Neanderthal dna in the world.
@@someamazingselectedvideosf7707 you did not understand the article. This is about one kind of rare gene that is found mostly in bangladeshi population. It doesn't mean a bangladeshi individual has high percentage of neanderthal gene. It simply mean a particular gene is available among the bangladeshi population compare to anywhere else, not high percentage of gene in individuals. Maybe neanderthal gene is not high or very low percentage available in an average bangladeshi individual, but a particular gene is available among the population which intensify the spreading of corona virus. It doesn't mean bangladeshi have higher percentage of neanderthal gene than East asians or European. In general, average south asians individuals such as a bangladeshi man, has comparatively lower percentage of neanderthal dna/gene than Europeans or East asians.
