I never expected to see you give a lower score than Bobby on an XTB figure. Great review. It's a 5\5 figure for me but I didn't have any breaks and loved the transformation.
I’m at least going to wait for a few MMC Constructicons to come out before I decide which company to go with. But this first release from X-transbots looks great!
Great review as always. It looks like XTB did a full send on this guy. Paint, sculpt, and articulation all look top notch. The way it's supported through the toes is concerning, but time will tell. It's a shame I've never had a good experience with XTB figures and won't get this although it is somewhat tempting.

Nice review! Even though X-Transbots can have QC issues they will once and a while have incredible releases that I am like "Wow that is such a beautiful bot and so G1 cartoon accurate". Commander Stack comes to mind and now this one, it is sad that it has issues. Regardless like Commander Stack it will probably be one of my favs in my collection.

I think you made a really smart choice in the order of operation on transforming the arms. Seen others struggling there and I like how you did it. Love how solid this seems in all modes. Great fair review. Your 3/5 score translates to 1 thumbs up on the Siskel and Ebert scale so it seems very appropriate. Sad to see that your XTB material choice / QC continues to be an issue. I am also a bit worried that they pushed this guy out before their Scrapper. Makes me wonder what the issues are with that bot and if this set is worth the risk.

So there is a difference in material between the toy and toon version? I’ve been watching a few threads discussing this topic and nobody seems to know for sure
He doesn’t have ratchets on the side kick hip movement but that joint looks like it has ratchet teeth on it. Very curious. I wonder if they eliminated the spring part of the ratchet at some point or if there’s a screw to tighten some place? As always, great review and thorough transformation instruction! Feels like you're pretty much done with XTB, I got that feeling from the unboxing. Shame. For me, not having any Masterpiece scale Constructicons at all, I'm all in on these guys, XTB Menasor was an absolute nightmare to combine, but damn he looks great on my shelf lmao.. so hopefully they learned some lessons and Devastator is a bit easier to cobble together. I mean you can have issues with build quality, but I've broken thumbs off Takara, KFC, FansToys and XTB figures.. the fact this guy looks cartoon accurate in both Robot and Alt Mode, scales correctly, has paint that isn't scratched or scuffed, and didn't come out of the box with loose joints or a missing pin.. and still only gets a 3/5, shows that you're starting to lose some objectivity when it comes to XTB figures.
in regards to objectivity, the score at the end is purely subjective, that's my opinion of the figure and that goes for any recommendation from any reviewer, it is inherently subjective because it's an opinion.. However, if you have been watching my channel for a while you will know I always give a score of less than 4 if it breaks for no reason, that's just my personal approach
the part that flips around on chest one side will have the Decepticon emblem on it and the other side can be blank depending on what look you want is my guess

Going back to my comment about XTB’s struggles and growth, I wonder what if they spent just a little more time cooking their figures, instead of trying to be the first ones out the gate? Would their growth be more exponential? And the reverse is FT’s struggle. The amount of time they spend fine tuning surely shows in their quality products. But I also think we can all agree, that FT often times over cooks things; taking too long and ending up with something not justifying the wait. Whoops, comment’s too long, sorry.

I ain't even gonna bother, simply because I am good with that Jinbao OSKO of Generation Toy Gravity Builder...even though everybody and errythang knows that the Mixmaster from that set *SUCKS* (because the Generation Toy version sucks). 😂😂🤣🤣 Too bad that the Toyworld Constructor is riddled with mold degradation issues by now (one cat on Facebook warned me away from it, and that was already like six years ago; and more recently, PerspectiveEnd's video from a year or three ago wasn't a good experience, either), because they had apparently won the war...only to apparently promptly shoot themselves in the nuts by makin' too many repaints and thus reusing their molds too much.
Hello!… I’ve been impressed with how this is looking in reviews, but have concerns as to whether all of the bots in the set will be of consistent quality.
Great review, as per usual. Your thoughts on this piece gave voice to all the concerns I had about it. It seems fiddly, and if it’s lighter than that magic square Optimus it’s truly a lightweight. That said, I love the way it looks in both modes, I got your transformation video to guide me through that, and I have no constructions in my collection. Im in on the fans toys, but I have no patience for the 5 years it’ll take to complete theirs. And it’s pretty reasonably priced all things considered. So I guess I’m in, hopefully with no XTB buyers remorse.
I'm in on these guys. XTB has had some great figures in recent years despite their history. Everybody's welcome to their own opinion, but I am not waiting three to five years for Fans toys. I tried that with Blitzwing, Superion and Menasor.

...Truck front half for combined mode needs rotated upside down brother at the waist rotator. Front half is in vintage position, back half of truck now points upward, not downward like on the vintage one. Thats what threw ya. :D
Would love more skits😂 and this FYEET scare me too because they’re the same as springers which have breakage on those little tiny hinges for the rocker
Phew. It looks like a clever transformation, very clean. But I am exhausted just watching it. And you do make these transformations look easier than they really are just because of your expertise.
Got mine today. I really like it. Your video had me terrified that I'd snap that thumb joint (which looks like it 1.2mm thick) so I magnified the joint so I'd bend it correct. It's hard to see plus it's not a ball joint. Good review as always.
@@TMReviews it's tricky to see and most larger mp style bots have a ball joint. Sorry your experience made you not like it. I'm wondering what the die-cast ratio will be upper body vs the legs. And I hope I xtb does a parts forming set... the charge less than a figure unlike the menasor frame. Or FT charging 150 over a figure cost for their superion 🙄

Really cool how it semi-shrinks from a huge truck to a more average height bot. They nailed the scaling.
The figure is great. I just wish x transbots and the other companies could stick to a steady shipping schedule
