    Brett you're the best teacher! "Scan your body for hidden tension." Probably you don't even remember saying that line, but your flow of explanations during the practice are full of gems like this. I did it with my daughter this morning because her hip was hurting. Now it's much better. THANK YOU!

    Your video has been a real life-saver for my hips! I have been doing it consistently (every 2 days, sometimes every day) for the last 1.5 years. My hips are so stiff every day and this makes such a difference! I really depend on it to ease my hip pain while sleeping. Thank you SO much!

    Thank you for this video. I have been experiencing some intense hip pain which keeps me awake at night because I am a side sleeper. This sequence was really helpful for releasing that pain long enough to sleep.

    I was having a really bad hip day yesterday. My bursitis was acting up real bad and the temperature was below freezing (two things that don't do well together) causing me to feel particularly uncomfortable and "old". Doing this helped me actually feel human again. I *might* have teared up in lizard. So very grateful you had this available to do. Thank you so much, Brett! 🙏

    I have had terrible hip pain and even difficulty walking since my second pregnancy and tried 6 weeks of physical therapy with no results and just 3-4 days of doing this hip emergency yoga my pain is significantly better. Thank you so so so much. God bless

    I've been dealing with painful hips for most of my life (and I'm only 24!) Long story short, my hips weren't developed fully when I was born, and I had to wear a pavlik harness for the first few months of life. Well everything is fine, I have no complications or deformities, but I still deal with hip pain frequently. I found your video tonight and tried it right away, and I have to say, after dealing with some more-intense-than-usual hip pain today, I feel GREAT. My hips haven't felt this good in a long time. Loved your video, loved your stretches! I plan on adding your exercises into my daily routine. Thank you sooo much!!

    I’ve had hip pain shooting down to knee and ankle for the better part of a week.     6 months post labral tear repair and this video is a godsend! The recovery process has resulted in more overall pain than the tear, I never knew just how many muscles and tendons would be affected. Thank you for bring me some peace of mind, and even more so, some restful moments for myself

    Feeling great after this video! My hips were too much in pain to do the pigeon pose. doing your other video with the lying down version helped open my hips enough so I could move better to do this video, my hips have more movement. thank you

    I have chronic pain in my hips. especially the flexors and rotators are very painful. did this sequence today and it feels better. I'll do this daily from now on.

    Thankyou i really felt a good stretch in the spot o needed ! I hurt my hip awhile back and all my flexibility went away because it was hard to move. Ive been thru physical therapy and its been alot better but last few weeks is started getting sore agian

    I have been having crazy hip pain and stiffness for months. I saw a physical therapist for 6 months but the pain is back and I haven’t felt relief like this since the PT did needling in my hips!

    BrettLarkinYoga , I find most yoga channels really not directed for 90% of population... If i would attempt to do these how you do than i most likely injure myself... I think such videos should be titled "advanced" or "for demonstration purpose only" Since you do not offer modifications for the poses. Moreover, i would absolutely would not want to attempt these when i have hip pain or any pain unless i really know what i'm doing, advanced yogi. I learned a lot of yoga through trial and error but i try to minimize my errors. i caused myself enough pain and i'm putting a stop to it through learning, carefulness and awareness. "no pain, more gain" is SO important for yoga... I think most people are not aware of this. I browse through several yoga video channels yet i still cannot find any video about yoga poses for hip flexion anatomical restriction.

    nice! so good, and in pigeon i cant have my bent leg fully paralel to the mat does that mean my hips are tight? and my side right hip hurts alot idk why, would you know?

    Just found you! practice yoga daily for years. But myt right hip is so sore and painful. Osteo told me i hacve arthritus in my spine - am not so sure. Going to see physionvery soon. Dont think it's bursitus... any recommendatiions?

    So, is hip pain is normal in yoga? Im having upper hip pain until the center of the butt. Its not really pain but when i press it i can feel the pain. It feel better after yoga but the pain remain. Thanks

    I injured my hip doing yoga approximately 5 months ago. It still hurts. I never felt anything while doing yoga, but the next day I was limping around. I'm 38. I feel like I have the hip of a 80 year old now.
